I bought the blons after this and they blew me away. I'm a professional drummer and Iv been using high end iems for years. The tuning is just beautiful and the balance is almost prefect and yes, they are exciting and bring a lot of life to music.
i was underwelmed by those honestly, i had tin t2 for about an year, lost one of the earphones, now bought the blons and they are not as crazy as i expected, sigh )=
When this man said these $30 IEM’s are good... I laughed. I ordered a pair and now as I sit here listening to them, staring at my Bose IEM I am pissed. These things DESTROY other more expensive offerings. Don’t buy 1 pair, buy 2 so you can have a pair for the future if they even discontinue them.
Well they r Bose .. sooo. . Idk what expectations you had in the first place .... Major brands aren't enthusiast oriented ... They barely care about good sound.
The badass tuner who tune this is Chinese man named #ZhuoLiang. He tuned the #TanchjimOxygen & #MoondropKanasPro. And now #Blon03. Whatever IEMs that man tunes... #BuyIt! He produce really good high-quality IEMs. The man knows his stuff! 💎✨👌
@@leonisbacher1772 He replied on a blon 03 video i don't remember which one it was. He is clearly very open about iems as well as he really went there and recommended iem's neverthless. He said he doesn't know which price tag it may be put in to the market as he is tuning these for free as a side hustle/hobby. At least, that's what i heard. Btw, do you recommend any aftermarket tips for the blon 03. Will order mine soon (+ maybe alqo for GuideRay if you have had the experience with it?)
Zeos, BLON actually refers to "Building the Legend Of Nobles", it's written in the booklet that no-one ever reads included with the IEM. It's a chinese culture reference apparently.
he misses things sometimes.. remember the time he reviewed the iSine's and thought you put them in the case with out the foam holder? he went on a rant for 15 mins talking shit about how poor the design was. come to find out if he had just read the box he would have realized how ridiculous he sounded lol... oh well it's super entertaining
For the Blon cable and others that curl up too tightly, you can reform them slightly by running them over an open flame. This trick has worked 2 out of 2 times for me.
"China is a crazy place... I want to visit there one day." Having been to China... yes. Very yes. Visiting China is roughly like reading the words that make up BLON out loud, over and over. It is a fascinating, crazy place and would recommend it to anyone. A wild GoPro faced Zeos roaming China would be incredible. Don’t drink the water.
I can only go places in the summer because of my job. My wife's work arranged a trip to China in October and I couldn't go so she took her parents while I stayed home and worked.
Bought the kz zs 10 based on your review, the price is crazier than the performance. Unbelievably great. I have had pleeenty of earbuds in this range, and $100 AKG, $70 Sennheiser, etc, etc, etc. Kz zs 10 is a whole other universe of performance. For $48.. So believe Zeos on this stuff, it's real, the Chinese have raised the bar ridiculously high.
Oh man, I started following you like 1 year ago and I think my wife already hates you. 600+€ already plus this one when I swore to myself there would be no more audio purchases this year... Keep it up, bring me to bankrupcy!!!
These are really F#%*IN’ GOOD! My setup for these are: IEM: BLON BL-03. Custom Cable: Acid Purple Hart Audio PC-3: Dual Angled 2-pin (QDC) Balanced IEM Cable w/ a female 4-pin mini XLR and a male 4-pin mini XLR to a 90 degree 3.5mm TRS interconnect line. Custom Ear Tip: Midnight Purple Eartune Fidelity Custom IEM Ear Tip Altogether for me is the ultimate band for your buck in an IEM!
Note, The QDC or the C pin will not fit these iems, Due to the squared off edges on the actual Blons themselves. You have do file the edges on the Blons 2 pin housimg to get them to fit.
@@wanaboed Yes they will. The bracket wouldn't go all the way in due to the pins on the TFZ connector being slightly longer on Yinyoo cables. Maybe using the actual TFZ cable or a different brand would fit snuggly.
I’ve had these for a while now and I truly love them. I also recently acquired the Shuoer Tape as well and detail on those are bloody amazing for the price, can’t wait for you to review them
thank you man..I saw your review on this IEM and I decided to buy it. Honestly, I'm enjoying listening to music on it more than my old HD598. Very grateful for the words.
Respect to the reviews of Zeos, the iems are unbelievably good and fun to listen, the bass on this iems are out of this world are sharp and full , a total surprise, the sound is good in this, not only the bass , is good but not overwhelming there is an equilibrium, what a surprise, thanks Zeos.
Saw BBGAR review these a few weeks ago, already got 2 pairs, including Yinyoo cables and SpinFit double-flange. They are amazing. Edit: 1More silicon tips work great.
Okay so I received them. I payed 30€, prime shipped from Amazon. The sound is... pretty dang nice but they do have issues: 1) There's a subbass boost which can be fixed with an equalizer, but it shouldn't have been there to begin with. Due to the boost, the sound is lacking punchiness. It sounds boomy. 2) There's is a peak somewhere in the upper mid region that makes voices really sibilant. I couldn't fix this via equalization. It's bearable, but close to being just too high. Everything else is okay. The treble is fine, just lacking a bit of air or extension. They do have much better soundstage/imaging/separation than you average cheap iem that comes for free with your phone. Still though, the sound is rather congested but not awfully so. In the grand scheme of things(keeping in mind Hi-Fi full sized headphones), I give these a 4/10, but comparing them with specifically IEMs under 50$, these would score a solid 10/10. EXTREMELY good for the price, but it's not a HD800s killer (or even a ATH M40x killer).
Stan Staniboy just received mine yesterday. no. 2 is an issue for me as well. i dont think i can survive even one song at around 80percent volume and up. it just pierces my head i have to equalize the what treble in spotify and it's now acceptable at high volumes. it actually sounds good if i choose bass booster then start adjusting everything down especially the treble. im no expert but it sounds good to me now
@@lnnoT6665 oi m8 good for you, I gave mine away. They are great for the price (like really great) but the sibilance on my unit was a problem. Enjoy man!
Yeah there is a lot of unit variance in my experience. I have had 5 pairs of blons to find the magical tuning that my first pair that broke had ( my own fault ). After testing so many i seemed to notice a clear difference between my first and last pair and the others in between. There seems to be a v shaped version and a u shaped/w shaped version. After some googling i found some people experienced the same. My last pair which finally sounded as good as my first pair came second hand and he bought it around the same time that i bought my first. Years ago. They changed the tuning according to some knowledgeable people who claim they work together with blon for tuning their iems. I dont like the v shaped tuning. Extremely bassy and very piercing because of that agressive v shape
Another Z Review that i trusted and glad i did. These are my first IEM's and they sound really good. I was a bit skeptical. Nope....they sound great. I was reading somewhere where they compared them to a Fidelio X2. Only have played them for less than 10 hours so far but i can definitely see the comparison in tonality. I went with the church of Z here and ordered the Tripowin cable and am using the large Dekoni tips. This after researching tips for a long while. Decided to take a chance on the Dekoni's and they seal and fit me perfectly. My one question is....I would really love to have a longer cable but it seems nearly impossible to find one in the 5 ft range of any quality. These Tripowin's sound great but i wish i could get them a bit longer. Didn't know it would be this short and i would have to be hovering this close to my desk. Would like to be able to sit back in my chair without fear of ripping these out of me skull. Any help on that?
Having using it for 2 months, mainly for the commune and like exercise. They are cheap and sounded great for the price. However, the main draw back is that they build up moisture fast if you use it for a long walk. The sound will start to fade to quiet on one side or both. Then, you needed to let it dry up to let the sound come back. For home use, I recommend them. For daily commute and exercise, I do not recommend.
Dude I just got used to T2s being the best travel headphone I have heard and now this comes along. Z I swear this is the last time I'm listening to you. said for my sanity sake, if some lucky IEM better than this comes along, I'm trowing that money no question.
Orca Brigade Foam tips work for me and they don’t change the treble in a negative way. 14 mm tips also work but they are a picky fit and will lose the seal if disturbed.
Just received these last night and wow! I actually prefer them over the Tin T2's. Listened to a few live performance recordings and I was blown away. For $40 you can't go wrong. Foam tips are a must.
I bought these for £22 when they popped up on Aliexpress (My Adult playground). I used a TRN upgrade cable I had on hand with my KZ memory foam tip (I bought 30 packs off Aliexpress for cheap) , and they're pretty damn good. Kitted out, it's about £40, since the TRN braded cable is about £11, with a couple packs of KZ tips for £4. I recommend kitting it out, the stock cable is like a stock KZ cable, but considerably lower quality. The box gave me a chuckle.
The Blon 03 arrived today and I've been listening to music for a few hours now which wasn't on my plans for tonight at all. I guess this short statement sums it up, doesn't it? My IEMs include the EE Legend X, Noble Kaiser Encore, Sony EX1000, Audeze iSine20, Shure se846, Tin Hifi P1, BGVP DM6, etc. Mentioning the headphones is not relevant here I guess. I'm not claiming at all that the Blon 03 are comparable to the super-expensive IEMs like the Legend X. However, there is a lot to learn for almost all IEM making businesses here. The tuning of the Blon 03 is very pleasing. It's not reference tuning as they're not meant for critical listening. It's quite clear these are fun IEMs. The sound/tuning is sweet, slightly warm and really enjoyable. And considering their price - they are absolutely worth getting even if you have a collection of nice IEMs/headphones like me. I'm happy enough to have bought another pair on aliexpress at the 11.11 discounted price just as a backup/spare. At the moment I'm using them with the Chord Mojo and I feel that they're a good match for the Mojo's slight sweetness and warmth. What an IEM, hard to believe that they're less than £40. Bravo to the person/team who developed them and many thanks to Zeos for showcasing them. Edit/update: My comments above about the sound of the Blon 03 are after changing the cable and eartips. The ones which come with the IEM are not good enough but I don't mind considering the price.
Funny, I have the same IEM collection minis the Noble and the P1. The blons are absolutely amazing. I get more excited to listen those than my Legend X lately
@@LuboAck Glad to hear your thoughts. What do you think about the Legend X. I'm currently listening to Coldplay's latest album 'Everyday Life' and the bass is too excessive. I hate EQ'uing my IEMs but without it, it is impossible to listen through the Legend X. I've switched to a pure silver cable but still too much bass. To be honest I'm questioning my decision of spending over $2k on them. Hope this rant here doesn't impact your views.
Petrolhead 777 oh I agree with you on the bass. It’s not an IEM that would play anything well. Sometimes the bass is overwhelming as you stated. I’m a basshead and I like it quite a lot. I’m sure your ex1000 will play that album better. The price the Legend X considering the market now and the higher quality mid and low budget IEMs should probably be around 1200-1500 usd. 2.3K is just too much for any IEM. I’ve heard others over 2k and honestly it’s usually underwhelming experience. Bro EX1000 is an absolute gem of a IEM and you are lucky to have it, if you don’t mind the fit and the peak at 6 khz. Just give it a slight boost in the sub base if you don’t mind a little eq and enjoy your music instead of getting caught up in insanely priced boutique products
@@Yongene09 There are multiple cables on aliexpress currently on sale. I think the NICEHCK and Yinyoo cables on discounted price should be good options. Whether you go for copper, silver plated or pure silver depends on your preference.
Very hard to recommend anything else, add another cable, some spinfit eartips, voila,, beautiful rounded, textured sound, lush sounding, with extension in treble and bass. Enough mids. Good attack and decay. Don't like being pushed loud. Benefit from a little EQ (tone down the bass on higher volume levels). Fair well with a nice mid-tier DAC/AMP/DAP. Or better than a smartphone player. Fit is average but not problematic (I have small ear canals, np). Isolation is average but good enough. Build seems fine, sturdy , but not sure of QC ofcourse. Play well with vocals, classical, rock, hip hop, EDM ... Treble is not sophisticated, not HIFI, but the sound signature is lovely. I find everything well integrated, nothing shouty or lacking. These give Hifiman a run for their money. And compete with the Shure 535SE's. Worth getting a few, just in case :-) The Koss Porta's of IEM Land ... But with beautiful texture to the sound, nice imaging and good enough soundstage. (at the cost of a Shure IEM cable :-p )
Hmm, they were definitely the best I heard in a recent Chi-Fi listening session. But overall they had very bloated and distorted bass (not rough sounding but as in creating huge amounts of harmonics). The frequency graph is quite bouncy and the distortion I measured is among usual Chi-Fi levels as in 3-5 times higher than reference gear. I recommend to save up for a MoonDrop instead.
k. e. Blon are better then Moondrop......and not even considering price. I sent my KXXS back for a full refund and don’t miss them one bit. These BLON are making me smile constantly. The only advantage the Moondrop have are the larger housing but with that short nozzle it can still be a picky fit.
@@Assimilator702 Chi-Fi is like a cult on its own. Gotta admire the value for what you get for little money, but it has little to do with the actual hobby of improving sound quality. Gotta be brainwashed for thinking you'd get the same quality as MoonDrop or Azla. BTW, there are two sound designers copying other brands behind all the 32 brands releasing two new IEMs every month. That is real quality RnD right there! Unless my unit was defective (which can happen if you don't have quality control and send defective gear to reviewers), the distortion from 20-80 kHz is almost 20%. 20%! Compare that to 0.5% of Kanas Pro. Good for you if you can't hear that.
I already had the Moondrop KXXS. Kanas PRO are technically discontinued so I'll see what they do next. HeynifnIm enjoying the music distortion doesn't bother me. If a set sounds off to me I'll ditch it. I have other hobbies more expensive than audio gear so yeah.....allocation of funds is a thing with me. I have the.means to buy whatever I want I choose not to since there's always something better around the corner. It's best to let the dust settle on this Chi Fi thing and purchase wisely down the line. It's all about the music anyways....so as long as we're enjoying the music on our budget crap who cares? I've gone down the expensive gear route and I choose to play it safe.
Thanks for the recommendation! I needed something to replace my 1more triple driver that died on me (the left one’s volume suddenly got a lot weaker) and I couldn’t be happier with these!
I used to have the 1more triple driver's too until I lost them and now I want a replacement pair, out of all the iems under 100 and even under 50 but particularly the tin t2s, kz zs10 pros, and these which ones are better than the 1nore triple driver's
These IEMs actually are good. But you still end up buying a new better cable, anything with 8 cores or more on Aliexpress. I am still not convinced it makes a difference soundwise but the user comfort is soooo much better. The other thing is, you will spend some time looking for good eartips because the fit is really a problem here. At least it was in my case. I settled with Spinfits CM-100 L with thin silicone inserts from another pair of double flange Spinfits. I also put an o-ring on the nozzle to make sure an eartip would not slide all the way to the earbud's body. Done. Overall, you have to fiddle with them a bit to make them fit just right.
I bought this after watching and reading tons of reviews at 27 usd from aliexpress i trusted you the most because i bought the superlux hd668b based on your recommendation 2 years ago and it was my first step into hifi audio , the blon 03 arrived the day of birthday last week and it was the best gift i ever get in my 29 years , this piece of art is a game changer , i was blown away by how magical listening to your favourite music with this , only pluged in directly to my xiaomi smartphone , no dac no amo no mods , the vanilla experience is already something truly enjoyable , this iem are so much fun to listen to , you will find yourself smiling and dancing while you are putting this on your ears , it was a pleasure experiencing this miracle Iem for this price it was a STEAL , zeos i will continue getting what you are recommending in the budget world of hifi and i will never be looking somewhereelse , Thank you my man for letting me discovering this beauty
I bought a pair a month ago and when I heard them, I bought a second pair on the spot... I don't need a second pair but when these sell out (and they are already, the entire audiophile communities online are buying them out) they will be rebranded and re-released for much higher price. one thing to note IMO they are amazing for genres like Hiphop/R&B/pop/trance/techno/house, not as amazing with rock bands and orchestra as the KZ zs10 pro is.
@phrozenmenace You know changing cables is for comfort and aesthetics no matter what anyone tells you. I didn't even though I have 12 nicer cables lying around. Changing tips on the other hand goes without saying on the BLON bl-03, the ones that come with it are designed for children's ears, you're going to need most likely a longer type of ear tips like a double or triple layer to get a proper seal.
so judging from your recommended genres, do these have deeper boomier bass than the zs10's? Or is it a bit shrill with rock and orchestra? Just trying to understand the kind of sound signature before deciding between these, the t2's and the KZ's. (and no I don't have enough money to buy all of them even though I definitely would) Edit for clarity: I listen to techno/house type stuff because I enjoy some heavy, punchy bass
@@fortunefed8719 that's exactly right for bass lovers (not bass heads) you'll enjoy the Blons much more, avoid T2's completely if you like the idea of bass, I find them lifeless and boring as hell. If you want the best of both worlds (Blon bl-03 and KZ zs10pro) in the same price bracket then the TRN V90 is the best option.
Ok Z they arrived last night. I’m listening to a high res version of Le Temps Passé with Michel Jonasz and this is one of the most “tangible” listening experiences I’ve ever had! I’m at a loss for words. REGARDLESS of price...
I had a pair of 1more triple drivers and a pair of Westone UM-1. I was quite happy with the both of them. Then I got these Blons, because why not. And the Blons blew the other two out of the water completely. They sound dull in comparison. The Westones never were very exciting, having a rather neutral tuning, but the 1mores were quite fun in a dark-ish, warm way. But compared to the Blons they are completely lifeless. That's how good the BL-03 are.
Qdc connectors don't fit as the connection on the iem is rectangle and a qdc connector is oval. I may try and mod them for a qdc connector to fit otherwise ill just buy a 2 pin.
@@ZReviews yes I modded mine with a very sharp craft knife. Shaved off the square corners till the qdc connection fitted. So If you don't want to do that then just use the 0.78mm 2 pin.
I was wondering if these were as good as you said. I'm listening to them now and I am really impressed with these IEM's! They are amazingly good. I listen to Metal and my collection really has another dimension with these. Very direct but also roomy. Thanx for the review. I also bought a new 16 wire cord with them from Yinyoo. I had to adjust the connectors of the IEM's because they have square edges and the QDC connectors of the cable have rounded edges. But with some adjustments it actually works. Greetings from Holland.
Hey Martin. I listen to All kinds of Metal. From Dream Theater to Cannibal Corpse, from Godsmack to Mayham. I think they sound really balanced. But I think they keep sounding better the more I listen to them. Greetings from Holland.
Just heat the cable with a lighter and you can twist them to whatever angle you want...And now try Senfer D6's.They sound like you literally sail in the music.Excellent bass too.Proper tips are absolutely necessary.
I think you're grossly underestimating the Chinese here, they didn't just randomize the design. I'd guess this is someone who worked at a factory that made some high end IEMs and they learned how to design good sounding IEMs by building them and then thought "what? 3000 USD? if we make em 38 we can sell a million of these"
I heard somewhere that the guy that tuned the TANCHJIM Oxygen tuned this set, which is why they sound fantastic. Also, I don't think Z knows this but a lot of Chinese manufacturers send samples to very active audiophile members and get feedback from them before finalizing and releasing their products (literally free R&D and community support/marketing). I think it's stupid to underestimate the Chinese on any level.
Bad guy good audio reviews has a video with 3 pairs of pre release tin t4s with different tunings that were sent to him for his opinion. Idk why they didn't send Z the same thing considering he's probably responsible for at least 50% of their sales.
14:40 Bought them, also have HD 800 stock. The sound is more impressive with BLONs, more impactful bass, deeper, hits hard, more dynamic, similar timbre as HD 800, same analytical type of sound, similar sibilance but less pronounced and they are still bright IEMs, similar vocals, less crispness/clarity/cleanless but still. Not same resolution as HD 800 but $20 for these ? Are you joking, buy them already. It impresses me more than HD 800 (almost) and DT 1990 (always). And they don't sound closed in. Listening on a Chord Hugo 2 so there is that... of course with a muddy source you will get muddy sound, but these don't have any mud in them.
I actually got this as a pre order on ali express. they were like mystery iems buy at your own risk. 1st batch. in the description it just said "NEW CARBON NANOTUBE DIAPHRAGM EARPHONE PROMOTION Professional HIFI earphone sound tuning engineer who has 13 years soild sound tuning experiences was involved in some hot selling brand products sound tuning projects." Didnt know these were popular until now.
Damn, just bought new amp: sl200 aaa 888, new linear powersupply for my 1000dollar dac, and new earpads for my hd800s. Damn zeos you killed a little parit of me.
I would not trade the HD800S for a pair of BLON-03's. NO WAY. However, I would take 65 BLON-03's in a straight trade for sure. Keep 4 pair and give the rest away to all of my family and friends. Assuming both were Free of charge.
I was blon away by your review (sorry) and I will definitely buy a pair. I just want to know if the new cable is just to improve fit or does it improve the sound too? Thanks
the connectors on the Blons are actually 2pin .78 (with covers to look QDC), I think thats why they worked when you connected to the 2pin cables on ur left.... on hand I'm only familiar with mmcx or a2dc for sony's or audio technicas so may be wrong as this is based on other reviews..
I bought these for gaming and i really enjoy them for gaming but for music they are not that great, I don't know if i recieved a lemon but they really lack base, i have airpods and the airpods have waaaaayyyy more base which makes aound experience much more enjoyable for me as i like to listen to techno music but yeah you get what you pay for.
At least they have good advice for any new audiophile in their company name. You should let your music burn in your headphones before you judge them. Believe in them, give them the oppoty, never give up!
BTW just bought a second pair and there was a comment about the difference between the new version and older version from "HarD TarGeT" which I thought was my imagination only but turns out someone also noticed . Here are major difference between new and old version Old :-Beige pouch New :- Greyish brown pouch for brown ( above Video) Black Pouch for silver. 2) Y splitter thicker than new one 3) Comes with velcro cable tie. New one with ordinary cable tie Only plus is new one come with Grey Transparent tips (Longer in length) which r better than black tips from original.
@@aeremi well I didn't see a need to change tips or cable with the newer version and it sounded louder with the same vol. my older version has a mic and didn't order mic version for the new pair.
BL-03 would be an excelent IEM if it had a little less bass (and more accurate) and more sparkling highs and treble extension. Mids are great and tonality are benchmark.
We shouldn't be expecting more from a cheapo 30$ IEM. Hopefully the company that makes the BLON-03s just spruces up the 03s and makes them end game IEMs for less than 100$ I have the 03s and they sure give my Starfields a run for their money.
I know absolutely nothing about IEMs ...like I still don't know what that is. I just want really good headphones with a mic. This dude being excited about these makes me excited. Almost every review I have seen is positive. I didn't put much research into them when I got them on Amazon. Like...I thought they looked pretty cool😂 that's my main reason for getting them.
For only $39 I figured I see what all the hype is about. I have the T2, ZS10 Pro and AR-E10 with a few others so it will be cool to see how the Blon stack up.
Bought the chi-fi budget holy trinity: tin-t2, kz-zs10-pro and blon bl03. Where should I go from here??? Thinking of maybe Shouer tape, Starffields or what else???
The provided cable is not stable , you need the , Linsoul TRIPOWIN C8 8-Core Silver Copper Foil Braided Earphone Replacement Upgrade Cable, Tinsel Silver Copper Wire for KZ ZSX, ZSN Pro, ZS10 Pro NF2u, QDC IEMs (4.4mm Plug, QDC Connector) (+ 4.4 to 3.5 mm adapter for non balanced use)
These are only $27 shipped if you buy theme directly from the linsoul website. Linsoul makes these and is the same company as FiiO, which has a pretty good rep.
For $30 bucks they are very good, but the Urbanfun are much better version of the Blon. But the main issue is the Urbanfun has lots of QA issues. First pair of Urbanfun was bad, but second pair is golden. Also have 2 pairs of Blon03 and they have QA issues between the two pairs. Both work but one is at lower volume. Even swapped cables and same issue.
I’ve had mine for a month and I like them. My only real comment is that the stereo field or staging is not as wide as my KZ ZS3’s. I like listening to the tracks by Seal like Prayer for the Dying or Crazy to test for imaging. For $13, the KZs do a better job. The overall audio spectrum and listenabilty is much nicer with the BLONs. No fatigue. Definitely need new or better tips and cable for it. But the BLONs are very, very good!
I used a $15 cable with no hooks and it works nice but I had to reverse the polarity on one side since it was out of phase with the connector dots pointing down or forward. Yeah and that name.....it’s like when there’s a girl so smokin’ HOT but dumb as a bag of rocks. You simply don’t care. The Blon are better than the Tin T2. I wish the earpieces weren’t so small otherwise they would be perfect in every way.
I shit you not people the tuning of this blon is waaaay ahead of its price. It might not be the sound sig for everyone but I KNOW , or probably guess that 8 out of 10 ordinary people will love the sound of these. AND THEYRE THIS CHEAP SO JUST FKING BUY IT WILL YOU STILL CAN
The problem with Chinese brands is that there is no consistency, there is a lot of rebranding and they copy even products made in China by other factories. Often there isn't a FCC ID or a part number or any other kinf of identification on those products, thus you can't track their source. So it is kind of a lottery, if I were to order a pair of these, there is no garantee that I will get the same you have got. Not my problem though because I don't use in ear headphones of any type.
@@Shahzad-Khan I actually own the blons now. I really like them but now I'm also thinking about getting a pair of T2's. What makes you think that I should get both?

Btw, do you recommend any aftermarket tips for the blon 03. Will order mine soon (+ maybe alqo for GuideRay if you have had the experience with it?)
Zeos, BLON actually refers to "Building the Legend Of Nobles", it's written in the booklet that no-one ever reads included with the IEM. It's a chinese culture reference apparently.
I wonder why they did not put that in front of the packaging instead.
I found this comment particularly interesting. Thanks, OP.
he misses things sometimes.. remember the time he reviewed the iSine's and thought you put them in the case with out the foam holder? he went on a rant for 15 mins talking shit about how poor the design was. come to find out if he had just read the box he would have realized how ridiculous he sounded lol... oh well it's super entertaining
I had no idea because I also didn't read the booklet. Now I'm going to do that lol
The manual for these is hilarious and totally worth the read

For the Blon cable and others that curl up too tightly, you can reform them slightly by running them over an open flame. This trick has worked 2 out of 2 times for me.

I've had these for about 2 weeks. Best 30 bucks I've ever spent on audio equipment.
You must have never gotten the Koss kph 30i? But seriously nothing can be that value.
@@matthewmanzi9504 nope, I've never enjoyed the Koss tuning
Note, The QDC or the C pin will not fit these iems, Due to the squared off edges on the actual Blons themselves. You have do file the edges on the Blons 2 pin housimg to get them to fit.
I know its too late :p but I'm using an upgrade cable with TFZ connection instead of QDC. It's squared and fits great on the BL03s.
So this Blon pin type is similar to the TFZ's. Using TFZs cables will fit
@@wanaboed Yes they will. The bracket wouldn't go all the way in due to the pins on the TFZ connector being slightly longer on Yinyoo cables. Maybe using the actual TFZ cable or a different brand would fit snuggly.

thank you man..I saw your review on this IEM and I decided to buy it.
These are $25 on drop. I literally lost my job on Thursday and have no money and I still had to buy them
Hey man, hope you are doing good. Hilarious comment tho.
Saw BBGAR review these a few weeks ago, already got 2 pairs, including Yinyoo cables and SpinFit double-flange.
They are amazing.
Edit: 1More silicon tips work great.
Yes, i got the gun metal grey and its beautiful. This is really great IMO, i think the OPPOTY is opportunity, yeah driam is dream.
Okay so I received them. I payed 30€, prime shipped from Amazon. The sound is... pretty dang nice but they do have issues:
1) There's a subbass boost which can be fixed with an equalizer, but it shouldn't have been there to begin with.
Enjoy man!
@@lnnoT6665 which device? Cause using it with Shanling Up4 with 0 sibilance

@Alessandro Esposito it is a very light exercise, walking. But I don't have any earphones but IEM. They are cheap. I think it's perfect. I guess not

Fit is... fickle though.
@@OrcaBrigade I have to either use foam tips, or go up a size in silicone tips over my normal size to make them fit right. But its worth it.
Orca Brigade Foam tips work for me and they don’t change the treble in a negative way. 14 mm tips also work but they are a picky fit and will lose the seal if disturbed.
That Meme packaging is soooo Internet :)
They are hitting the good notes without realizing.
How do they compare to the ZS10 Pro??

@@thephlophers Yes, it has the same pin layout. Never thought of trying to sand down the corners
Edit/update:
My comments above about the sound of the Blon 03 are after changing the cable and eartips. The ones which come with the IEM are not good enough but I don't mind considering the price.
hey dude, what do you think is a good cheap cable for this iem?
You probably big mad cause you wasted money on moon drops when the blone is better

Done.
Overall, you have to fiddle with them a bit to make them fit just right.

one thing to note IMO they are amazing for genres like Hiphop/R&B/pop/trance/techno/house, not as amazing with rock bands and orchestra as the KZ zs10 pro is.
Which is better overall?
@@Zillamp3z If I had to choose only one, based on my taste and preferences I'd go for the zs10pro
(and no I don't have enough money to buy all of them even though I definitely would)
Edit for clarity: I listen to techno/house type stuff because I enjoy some heavy, punchy bass
@@fortunefed8719 that's exactly right for bass lovers (not bass heads) you'll enjoy the Blons much more, avoid T2's completely if you like the idea of bass, I find them lifeless and boring as hell.

Any differences is sound from both versions?
@@aeremi well I didn't see a need to change tips or cable with the newer version and it sounded louder with the same vol. my older version has a mic and didn't order mic version for the new pair.
Ordered 2 pairs off of Linsoul for $26 each and they were running promotion that included the T2 tips so I'm a very happy camper.
Wait how did you get the tips? I only see the sale
I stay in HK and got them in $25.. it's crazy and I can't believe when I listen these.nusing the comply tips but waiting on a good cable..
Where did you get them from in hk? I
BL-03 would be an excelent IEM if it had a little less bass (and more accurate) and more sparkling highs and treble extension. Mids are great and tonality are benchmark.
We shouldn't be expecting more from a cheapo 30$ IEM. Hopefully the company that makes the BLON-03s just spruces up the 03s and makes them end game IEMs for less than 100$
I have the 03s and they sure give my Starfields a run for their money.
Get silver cable. You will get what you wanted
@@khaledkibria2434 It helps a bit, but I am a treble head, so I think it wasn't enough. But diference is minimum.
@@Weareonenation303 Yeah, we should not expect much. That's why I don't understand why they are so overrated.
I love my blon bl03 , paired it up with ( Jcally 8core cable ) & ( comply tips ) & ( the DDhifi Tc35i dac ) - it’s beautiful also great review !
really great thumbnail bro
Ordered using the links above. Thanks ZP
Can not wait for the KZ ZSX, TFZ T2 and Tin T4 reviews.
They sound super good so you made a great choice
@@adamowl4425 they do sound good. They arrived today. I got some foam buds as well. I have small ears so they feel really comfortable
For only $39 I figured I see what all the hype is about. I have the T2, ZS10 Pro and AR-E10 with a few others so it will be cool to see how the Blon stack up.
damn you zeos, I already have enough IEMs and you make me buy another one...
Bought the chi-fi budget holy trinity: tin-t2, kz-zs10-pro and blon bl03. Where should I go from here??? Thinking of maybe Shouer tape, Starffields or what else???
which are your favorite? The KZs are the only ones I don't have
@@GlitzPixie I have all 3 with the stock cables but different tips. The Blon's are the best for my tastes; they sound horrible with the stock tips.
exactly the same thing about the Tin T2 better then the Sennheiser IE800 i know because i have/had them
The provided cable is not stable , you need the , Linsoul TRIPOWIN C8 8-Core Silver Copper Foil Braided Earphone Replacement Upgrade Cable, Tinsel Silver Copper Wire for KZ ZSX, ZSN Pro, ZS10 Pro NF2u, QDC IEMs (4.4mm Plug, QDC Connector) (+ 4.4 to 3.5 mm adapter for non balanced use)

I wish the earpieces weren’t so small otherwise they would be perfect in every way.
wasnt expecting degeneracy from an earphone review but aight
I shit you not people the tuning of this blon is waaaay ahead of its price. It might not be the sound sig for everyone but I KNOW , or probably guess that 8 out of 10 ordinary people will love the sound of these. AND THEYRE THIS CHEAP SO JUST FKING BUY IT WILL YOU STILL CAN
Clicked for the review, stayed for the rant. Ordered mine. Got it for $22.
Woa where for 22? Theyre gonna be 25 on ali for 11.11 but whered you get them for 22
@@AlanGonzalez-ev6ur got it from shopee( im in asia). It's around $26 and I used vouchers.
Everytime I buy a previous recommendation you recommend something almost immediately thereafter
duh
zEOS, Theres a rumor that the brown blons sound different from the chrome ones. Grab some browns and give us your take.
I cant tell the difference between mine.
Oh please no. NO

Buy it guys, just buy it and you would want to sell whatever else you have after listen to this blon.
Also, on the off chance that you missed it, Sendy has a new IEM on Drop
So if you were to pick between the Tin T2's and these, which one will you get?
Both
@@Shahzad-Khan I actually own the blons now. I really like them but now I'm also thinking about getting a pair of T2's. What makes you think that I should get both?
Different tonality, great technicality, they complete each other
Which one should I get??
