i had the samsung s7 and lg g5 and now the p9 and all phones are really great but my favorite of the bunch is the p9. the p9 is a really speedy phone with really good battery life, the camera is so good and built quality & finger print reader is excellent & my favorite of the bunch.
I think what sets this apart is the fact that it is on par with something like the S7 (better in some - , worse in other areas) but it costs ~200$ less (at least where I live).
You know why Phone Arena's reviews suck? Their clear bias to any popular phone is blatant. They have ZERO objectivity. It's flagship or bust. This is probably why John V. left.

Regardless, as a top-end flagship phone, the Huawei P9 handles everything smoothly - as it should be. So I don't feel like I would be getting anything else, since my primary use for the phone is #1 email; #2 youtube; and #3 take pictures.

get P9 newer becasue hardware and software. get a titanium grey version, it will hide the camera and it looks super stealthy, the white version will make it looks like 2 holes at the top of the phone

Dont expet that there is better phone from iphone 6s plus on earth .belive me .i have compare iphone 6s plus with s7 dege the best of samsung .everything on 6s plus was better just only the screen it was better on s7 edge rich color and higher resolution but man with cinema mode display active i couldnt look to iphone screen anymore because of very very rich color give but we cant buy s7 edge for only screen because it will in the phone not tv or laptop to watch movies on but iphone was better build ,fingerprint,faster,better os ,better camera,you feel really it deserve 1000 dollors .

You'll hardly find a company degrading Samsung or Apple phones while other companies will be degraded even if they pack better features than Samsung and Apple. this is called sponsorship and reviewers are paid for it so rather analyse yourself and stick to your preference. there are so minor differences that you won't feel bad on purchasing the one you preferred

you could use huawei's quick charge adapter; the p9 doesn't come with it but the p9 plus does, and i've tried using the p9 plus' charger on the p9 and it is fast

The P9 charges fast too, and the camera is way better in the p9, it has a lot of modes, and the pro features in the p9 are something that you wont find in another phone. And in terms of design, the huawei is a lot prettier that the OP3
i have done a shooting twst between my friend's oneplus 3 and my own huawei P9. my huawei P9's camera does a lot better, especially in low light. the only advantage the oneplus 3 has is its OIS, which allows it to take slightly more stable videos

True. Many people seem to believe that the camera stitches the two photos taken from both cameras together in order to benefit from the low light advantage of the monochrome sensor. But that simply isn't the case. It helps greatly with the depth of field though.
