    Hello I would just like to say thank you so much Dave for this review. You and Akros really sold me on these and I actually managed to get the last stock of the anniversary limited edition version of the bravery in my country (The only difference being the color is red instead of blue). I am really in love with the sound of these, a true all rounder in my book. I tried and almost got the softears volume/the tea 2, but I pulled the trigger on these instead and I'm glad I did. By memory these sound smoother than the volume but not as laid back as the tea 2 which is the perfect sweet spot for me.

      Dave, I have the Kato as well and am looking for the next logical upgrade. Please, a little detail as to the differences between the Kato and the Bravery.

    • @TheHonestAudiophile
      @TheHonestAudiophile  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @kevin McCarthy @ Howard Levy Both are exceptional for the price and I highly recommend both. The Bravery is an upgrade to the Kato, even though it is subtle improvements in some areas. The Kato has a little more forwardness in the mids and a slightly wider stage. The Bravery has a tad more bass presence and impact, better treble extension, more air and space, better body and note weight. Both are exceptional with tone and timbre. The Bravery is a touch better with detail retrieval and resolution.

  • @herb601

    Sounds really nice but more than I want to spend. I'm really pleased with the HiBy FC4. Does the Bravery, in your opinion, warrant that much price difference? Also, did I miss the link for the soft ear tip? Another great review. TU. ❤

    Hello Dave,
    would you recommend the Bravery today or are there better choices for 280$ (black), 300$ (red or blue) & 320$ (red + blue with other cable) [~15% if in offer]?

    • @TheHonestAudiophile
      @TheHonestAudiophile  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I think the Bravery is a solid option in 2024. But the Moondrop Blessing 3 is an improvement for a few dollars more.

    • @berndkilian7774
      @berndkilian7774 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@TheHonestAudiophile Thanks for the quick answer. I thought that Blessing 3 has a much stronger bass than Bravery? Also i'm more a BA Type than a Dynamic. Originally I startet my Inears *Quest* with Shure SE420 and after 10.000 Hours + broken nozzle I switched to SE535 where the shell will break in ~3 month.

    • @TheHonestAudiophile
      @TheHonestAudiophile  ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Hi there, thank you for your video, im currently using Yume midnight. but i find the bass and lower mid to be little lacking, making rock genres feel a little less powerful and impactful than i would like. you mentioned some experience with the Yume, do you think these would perform better in this case. thanks very much. Have a great day.

    • @TheHonestAudiophile

    Did you experience fatigue quicker than usual listening to the Bravery? I was blown away the first time I demo'd the normal version such that I preferred it to the Dusk but on further demos, I found myself being bothered / overwhelmed by "very sharp" sounds and the bass that I took them off shortly after, which is weird since I never experienced this before when demo'ing the Katos / Dusk / Timeless.
    Not sure about the proper terms but that's the best I can describe it as a casual listener lol.

    • @TheHonestAudiophile

      I felt that way with the included Xelastic tips too. Swapped over to the kbear07 tips and it solved the problem for me without losing any bass and treble energy (to my untrained ears anywhere). Moondrop springtips removes the "sharpness" too, but I feel it kills bass + treble.

    • @simphoniaubec

      thats actually bad fit, when you pick tips that cause air pressure. Same with mine with the xelastecs, i swapped to foams and my experience changed.

I wonder what the blue edition sound like compare the original black or red edition. For me, I like the look of the red edition more.
