Great review. I love the AE I dare say a lot more than the Yume Ultra or Neko. I had to change the cable sadly as the microphonics (sp) kinda got me very annoyed. I would say one of the best from the SeeAudio line for sure. Would love to see your take on the Kaguya, which I really like a lot.
The Dunu S&S tips are quite good on these. Also an impedance connector to enhance the bass is a good option. So far I've only tried the 3.5mm impedance but have ordered the 75ohm 4.4mm from Penon. It needs this much impedance. Looking forward to trying out this solution. Thanks for a great review.
This was one of the first sets that blew me away when I joined the hobby. Got it shorty after the P5 and it has remained in my Top 8 Box ever since.
P5 and Bravery AE, which one would you say is better, what are the differences and why do like the respectively? I am wanting to pick one of these but I'm not sure which one to choose. I was also wondering if the shell of the two fit similarly.
So just based on price, fit and overall tuning it is way easier to rec the P5. Bravery AE has pressure build up and is way more expensive. It is airier and more detailed tho. P5 is more balanced and easier to main.
There are 3 all BA sets that are never leaving my collection: Symphonium Meteor, Dunu SA6 Ultra and the Bravery AE. The Bravery hits my "warm + detailed" audio preference very well. Goes on sale for $200 all the time too.
I got them for some months and they are great for most things. Maybe not the best but they can do all things great in my book. Gaming is also very good with them (fps games) they present a very good soundstage maybe not the widest stage but very accurate around your head.
Do you have any recommendation for an upgrade iem or maybe upgrade Dac/Amp option that benefit these iems?
Would be nice to know what volume you do this test. At high volumes, everything can over lap when comes to upper mids and lower treble
Can you compare this one with the epz 530? Did you also try penon dome?
Yume 2 might be a better option, and for a much lower price
