That's so freaking unfair , it's a literal joke. And I don't care about women slaves who justify this .. I have a nother and a sister abd probably I will have a daughter and I don't want them to be put in a tent under the sun , can't even have some sun lights and breath right .. it's like a life long mask just hotter with more layers
All women deserve equality and respect. If women are being objectified for their bodies it's not their fault to hide what they got .. it's the harassers who did that.
Why can't men cover our faces or chest or arms because what's haram for men is the erea from their belly button down to their knees .. which is okay for their chest and arms, shoulders and back, legs, face and hair .. can be shown while women should covered up like crazy !
Wth !!!! Sometimes I start to search about Islam again after the 10th times because a lot of people I know are still muslims , born in that religion and never question it.

I love how women can wear the most revealing clothes and it’s acceptable in society because it’s their choice but Muslim women who wear modest clothes aren’t acceptable in society because it’s their choice to cover up. Like we respect your religion so respect ours. Plus nuns also wear modest clothes but no one is rude to them so why are you being so rude to Muslim people who also wear modest clothes? Many people are saying how Muslim women wear these types of clothes in the heat and how it is ridiculous. Like, don’t other women wear revealing clothes in the cold too? Please try to be more respectful towards our religion because we respect yours. Also about the heat issue lots are saying, these types of clothes can prevent us from feeling heat (in my opinion). Also it is very comfortable to wear. We are not forced to wear these types of clothes. Also not all Muslims are the same either so don’t just start assuming bad things by looking at another Muslim. For example, the Iran incident. In the Quran, it didn’t say they can beat another girl because they didn’t wear their hijab or didn’t wear their hijab properly. They just went way too overboard and went too far. This doesn’t mean all Muslims are bad. There can be good and bad Muslims.

    • @hydratejsn
      @hydratejsn 22 วันที่ผ่านมา +4

Maybe the Quran doesn't say to beat someone for not following rules, but creating inequality between male vs female modesty and in other aspects definitely can make some people think they are entitled to police women with violence. To the contrary, in societies influenced culturally by other beliefs noone will be violent to a nun for not dressing modestly, or to a less covered woman if she starts to dress modestly suddenly. So, for me as long as there is violence against women tied to this type of clothing, I see it as a symbol of support to said violence. Especially since it goes overboard to what is actually mandated by your scripture and is therefore man imposed limitation on the freedom of, well, existing in your own skin. If someone has sexual thoughts about women existing in the open, let him wear blinders instead.
Edit: Also, how can lesbians born to these societies see women but not make a fuss about it? Almost as if attraction is fully controlled by the one who feels it...

1 Corinthians 11:3-16 addresses the issue of women and head coverings. The context of the entire passage is submission to the God given order and "chain of command." A "covering" on a woman’s head is used as an illustration of the order, headship, and the authority of God. The key verse of this passage is 1 Corinthians 11:3 "But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God." The implications of this verse are found in the rest of the passage. The order is: God the Father, God the Son, the man or husband, and the woman or wife. The veil or covering on the head of a believing Corinthian wife showed that she was under the authority of her husband, and therefore under submission to God.

Answering questions for all the people who are spreading hate about HER dressing which she wore with her own will.
    1) "why dont muslim men have to wear clothing like this?"
Men are instructed to cover their body from neck to legs as well. They also have a clothing called a "thobe" in arabic. And they HAVE to lower their gaze. Its important to remember men have many rules that women dont (not wearing jewellery, growing a beird etc), and vice versa.
    2) "i CANT imagine wearing this on a sunny day outside and inside my house"
Firstly, you dont have to wear any of this in the house unless you have a MALE guest. Even in that case you only have to cover hair and neck and chest.
Secondly, dont worry about muslim women. They choose to wear it themselves and they know how to handle such situations.
    3) "she is being forced/opressed!!"
No shes literally not. She CHOSE to dress the way she did. And it was her decision to go an extra mile and cover her hand and face but she wasnt forced by anyone. She is literally doing this for herself and keeping herself safe. And an oppressed person never feels like a "jewel" doing the thing thatis oppressive to them. So please refrain from using words without a reason.
    4) "This is oppression caused by religion!!"
Not gonna talk about the oppression part AGAIN because any smart person who passed basic english comprehension in 5th grade would know its not opression. But its not religious either. It is a cultural thing which existed way before islam was even started. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) had advised women to cover themselves at that time and it has been a cultural thing passed on from there.
Anyways to all my muslim sisters out there i hope yall know you're beautiful the way you are. Dont let anyone tell you otherwise 💌💞

Covering hair and body(hijab) is mandatory but if you don't want to do it then it's your choice, covering face (Niqab) isn't mandatory and you can choose to wear it if you want extra modesty and good deeds,

Two. In Islam, niqab is not obligatory while hijab is. She isn't being FORCED into wearing hijab, she chose to.
Three. You don't have to wear abaya, you just need to wear non revealing clothes and loose clothing, not tight as it will show the shape of your body.

Man cannot accurately carry out Gods word, if you think they can you have been indoctrinated. I don’t want to shame anyone who has faith is spiritual beings, but I just feel it’s common sense when these religions mainly benefit the men in power, not “God” nor, “Allah”. You clearly misunderstood the religion, we both have an Islamic dress code, men from navel to knee, and shoulders covered, obviously, loose fitted clothing, they just choose to not follow it, because Muslims went extinct, and a lot of Muslim women also choose to not abide by Islamic dress code either. sister, who said they are doing it because men want it that way, i would even say that the majority of men would like so see women with less clothing, don’t you think so? the reasons why people and a lot of women still choose to follow this specific religion is not because of oppression. there are soo many beautiful sides to this religion, you could spend an entire life educating yourself about islam and would still find so many beautiful things and messages. it was the first religion that actually gave women rights at a time when not even the west (europe/US) did that. this religion tried to eliminate unfairness and have people treat others rightful and to be an idol for others so that they would leave their immorality behind and choose to live a graceful live in the name of only one god. If you dare to do it i advise you to read a legitimate book that tries to give a view of the prophets life and what the core goal of islam is. it might change your life or maybe it will be an enlightening new view on the religion millions freely choose to believe in.
