    Picking up my new Rotty pup on March 3rd. I'm so excited! Really want to have him trained this well by the time he is a big guy. It is all just so overwhelming! I have watched countless of Mr Krohn's videos and having a really hard time putting them into order, as far as week by week training. I'm pretty sure Mr Krohn has done all the videos I need, I just can't seem to put them in chronological order. I swear I have spent all of my lunch times in my patrol car for the last 3 weeks watching these videos! Thanks Mr Krohn!

      Jinx D.Clown I am also picking up my Rotti male Pup in SD on Feb 27, and soon off to Calgary. I am also wondering where to start with the videos. Let me know if you figure it out. Are you getting male or female? Do You have a name for your new addition?

      @@sherylhalvorson9926 congrats to you! We are getting a male. We have the name Ruger (pronounced Rooger) in mind, but not 100% yet...u?

      Jinx D.Clown
      So Exciting, Well his name has to start with the Letter T, for this Litter. so I think we will go with ”Toy”After Toy Caldwell along with the breeders name.
      And ”Cash” for his call name.
      But not sure, till I spend more time with him it is hard to say. But he will be here tomorrow am.

    Hi Larry, I have a border collie / Australian Kelpie cross. He is very high drive and has been since day one, Bertie is now 18 months. Watching your videos has been a big part of my training with Bert, and he is now becoming a well rounded young adult. Just wanted to say thank you and please keep the videos coming! I often watch back and see what I can be doing to make my training better. Fan from across the pond in the UK, thanks again. Matt

    Thank you so much for the guidance and for all of your videos. I love that you are so focused on the relationship with the dog and that you personalize and show the process instead of the end result. I hope that someday I can train dogs even half as well as you do and give back as much as you have.

    Wise words. The Web is flooded with so many conflicting methods. I agree the bond is essential for achieving great dogs. Love how you use your body language so well with Luca especially . Mango is doing great. A pleasure to watch as always,thank you : )

    Hello just want to start off by saying thank you for all your great videos. I was hoping you could show us a video or talk about how your dogs in the house. I picked up a lot of great tips and I continue to use them one in particular is them when my dog drinks water soon as I put the bowl down he sits drinks the water and then he sits back down and I wipe his face because I have a Giant Schnauzer and have a long beard but I still haven't got them 100% off leash and I really would like to understand how we should be in the house he's pretty good in my opinion but I'm sure you would say otherwise so any video or talkin about it would be great thank you.
    And if possible could you explain how to transition from on leashed 2 off leash training

    I really need your help. My pup is a crossbreed. We’re not sure about her heritage or anything like that. And I’ve noticed that she gets quite food possessive if it’s something she really likes or scavenged herself from the trash. How can I correct this while she’s still a puppy?
    She’s about 3 months old right now. And she started getting growly at around 2 1/2. Unfortunately, she was separated from her litter way too early.

    Not sure if you will see this on a old video, but my young Mal pup gets excited similar when going into a position such as barking or nimping from what seems just pure excitement. It is starting to be come a problem when she does a front and center recall and wants to nip me in the inner thigh and sometimes groin area. How do I correct this without confusing the dog for the correct position she’s in ?

    Lovely to see the differences between the two dogs. Why Is Luca so vocal, is it his character, excitement, high energy? Or is it the breed, intelligence? It's so interesting to watch 😀

    Around the how long are you away from your dogs a day? Or are you around there most of the day? The reason I ask is because with breeds especially like the Belgian Malinois it seems that you need to spend a great deal of time with them during the day and they are not good to be left alone please respond thank you

    I have a neighbor who’s dogs are not trained very well. We walk together a lot. They are not physically capable of leash walking their dogs, they are friends of 40 years. I leash walk my dogs, and have gotten to the point that I don’t want my well behaved, trainable dogs around her crazy dogs. I feel like it’s sending a confusing message to my dogs. Her dogs also exhibit aggressive behavior, charging and body slamming my dog. Am I wrong in not wanting to have my dogs around their dogs? My walk is much more relaxed. 😎 if I leave my dog at home. Thoughts?

      Point them to these videos?

    • @Freerunningtwo
      @Freerunningtwo 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Love God Bob that wasn’t the question. My question was if my decision was uncalled for or incorrect, because I felt the other dogs were influencing my dog. I don’t like to anrhropomorphasize my dogs.

    • @AridiaMoonWolf
      @AridiaMoonWolf 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Freerunningtwo I understand, but your dogs should be able to handle that kind of situation and have trust and confidence in you as the handler. So unless your neighbor's dogs are directly interfering with you or your dogs, e.g. physical contact, there shouldn't be an issue. If you personally don't feel confident in having your dogs with you in those situations, then it is better to have your dogs at home, since they will pick up on your anxiety in the situation. At least until you feel otherwise. This is my personal opinion on the situation.
