Awesome job dude!
where did you buy your 12Pack CR2032 Battery, CR2032 3V Lithium Battery with Solder Tabs? great video. thanks!
It's been so long, but I'm fairly certain this was it.www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07PT6ZZXT/ref=ox_sc_act_image_1?smid=A6KUS834LWLTQ&psc=1
I can’t believe these companies go out of they way to make it difficult for us to replace the batteries so they can charge us an arm an a leg.
Should use br2032
What was the connection procedure for the lower contact? Did you also solder it ?Thanks
Didn't. It has enough pressure on it to keep it connected. It still works great!
Difficult to solder but if possible, better to. Some people use a very fine wire. The centrifugal force can cause disconnection if not soldered.
@@normanlai haven't had any issues.. the gasket material holds it down so there's no wiggle room.
Hi, I believe the video is really good. I am doing the same project. What did you use as a sealant? Many thanks
Gasket maker
Aquarium sealant is very good also and dries quicker.@@aaelsawy
Thanks for info I guess the other terminal just presses on the battery
Exactly. As long as you apply enough down pressure, it should stay in contact with bottom terminal.
Not sure if I missed it, what battery was pulled out? 2032? I saw that you put in a 2032.
CR2050HR
@@aaelsawy thank you. I will order 2050 heat resistant instead of 2032.
is the wakeup tool absolutely necessary?
No.
@@aaelsawy well... Here goes nothing! For 400 euros, absolutely worth the try. Such a scam making these discardable. Thanks for the tutorial!
@@Cloroethyl any luck?
@@aaelsawy yeah it worked! I used cr2050HR (high temp) . They're slightly bigger. Had to modify the body of the units but it's working alright so far. Thanks for the tips!
