Exactly this, both for new titles (or reprints) just starting, and titles finishing. I was going to start picking up Maison Ikkoku soon anyway, but had no idea that the reprint run was just finishing. Quite a bit of this was already on my radar, as I check out anything that looks interesting as it gets added to Right Stuf's preorder list, but you always find a few titles that I miss (Rainbow Days, Shy, and Our Torsos Align all are now on my list).

I think you are going to love Sweat and Soap, I know the description sounds crazy but it is a nice story. Thanks for putting this list together.
I can definitely recommend sweat and soap! It’s one of my all time favourite reads and just great to see a mature and real story told. You will not be disappointed!
I heard it described as a series about the progress of a healthy relationship, and as I read it I was like yeah, that description fits :) …. the two main characters are lovable and you can’t help but root for them 🥰 very sweet, but definitely a manga for mature audiences…can get a little steamy lol
Perfect timing! I just started browsing for my big manga order for my birthday. I usually do smaller manga orders throughout the year but I always do one big order in December. Maison Ikkoku is a series I've been collecting but put on hold until all of the volumes were out so I'll definitely be catching up. Looking forward to the hardcover editions of Summertime Rendering as well!

Let’s see, I am picking up Our Torsos Align (I love how he was so turned off by the synopsis in the video. Utter rejection) but I don’t know if I’ll keep it yet but human x nonhuman romance is literally my favorite literary trope. Beyond that it’s just recurring series like Black Clover 31, Ghost Reaper Girl 3, Kaguya Vol 24, Heterogenia Lingistico 4, Kemono Jihen 3, Sakamoto Days 5, Mission Yozakura Family 2, Masterful Car is Depressed Again 5, and Shangri-la Frontier 3

I'm excited for K-On! Omnibus finally! I was also surprised Red Hood got a physical release when there were better options. I really didn't like Red Hood at all. The first chapter is stellar and it just falls off from there... I seriously wonder why it got physical release cause to me it didn't seem like there was much excitement for it at least in the communities I hang out with on Twitter and Reddit.
Summer Time Rendering and the Boxer i'll get for sure and a few other things in this video look interesting. Love your videos. Hope you start doing more, noticed you've slowed down lately.
Just came across this channel. Do you only suggest Manga that you plan on reading or posting biggest releases? I just picked up Sakamoto Days Vol 5 that dropped 12/13. It’s been an enjoyable series so far, doesn’t take itself terribly seriously, but has a lot of fun scenes involving a retired assassin who has a bounty on his head.
Do you think that if Viz continues publishing Rumiko Takahashi's works they would reprint similar editions of Ranma 1/2 and Inuyasha? Been holding off buying those as I'm not a big fan of the 3-1 volumes qualify of paper.
A One Pound Gospel reprint (omnibus maybe?) would be dope-been wanting to read that for awhile. And there’s so many Rumic Theater volumes that haven’t been released in English before.
I am also really interested in Yakuza stuff! I was wondering if that Yakuza Fiancé volume is more romance focused or does it actually follow what the Yakuza gets up to more? I tried Yakuza Lover before and it was not enough Yakuza action for my tastes and focused too much on the Romance side. Just wondering your opinion whenever you get around to it so that I can decide, thank you :)
I've read chapter 1 and from what I've seen it will probably be a dark-comedy / romance series. It's also got a 17+ rating so it will most likely include some nudity. Have you read "Way of the Househusband"? For me it started out good but became progessively more boring as the series went on.

@@butterfluf4921 You're welcome. Well I'd say The Way of the Househusband becomes repetitive and predictable since it reintroduces the same characters every now and then. The problem is that there isn't much to build on the concept of a stay-at-home husband, so the main appeal of the manga is the unique premise, which can only capture your attention for so long. Have you read Maison Ikkoku? It's also an easy read but has characters with more depth.
Would you ever consider doing a monthly buyers guide for western comics like DC and Marvel? I’m looking to get into marvel stuff but I don’t know where to find out about new releases…
The editor is stepping away from all other projects to lend complete focus to Kaiji so that it doesn’t continue to have such drastic delays between volumes.
