Someone stole from your collection? OH HELL NO!! That sucks! Glad you were able to get Chobits again. Fun haul vid. I had a pretty big haul in December with Barnes and Noble's 50% off all hard covers sale they did on 12/26, so that was fun. And I will continue to pronounce Ghibli with a hard G lol
I'm so happy that you went into detail about what was going on at Dark Horse! I loved Oh My Goddess and a kid but never had the ability to collect it. I didn't know the omnibus editions had been resurrected and will be completed!!! Putting them in my cart now!!!

I've been wondering about the whole state of Dark Horse. I never realised it was to do with them being brought out. Need to purchased the other gantz omnibuses.
I sympathized with your story btw. I had a friend who went to a different school and asked if he could borrow a set of warhammer figures I'd painted. It turns out he sold them and then told me he'd lost them. The amount of time I'd spent painting them really left a bad taste in my mouth.

Regarding The Case Study of Vanitas, there's ten volumes out so far in Japan and Vol 9 should be out in English on May 23.
ETA - I've been tempted to get those Chobits hardcovers every time I see them in stores haha (my local B&N didn't have any during the hardcover holiday sale)
I usually buy a few manga at a time weekly, but I might try doing larger orders through rightsuf

that X volume was an amazing find! I hope to someday be able to have them as well, especially now that they're releasing the "premium collection" in japanese for most of CLAMP's work. I know it might never happen but a girl can dream to have them translated officially and in my hands 😢 awesome haul, always a pleasure to see your collection growing!

I picked up the first volumes of Usotoki Rhetoric, My Happy Marriage, The Apothecary Diaries, Tsubaki-chou Lonely Planet, From Me to You, Ao Haru Ride, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle (omnibus), Magus of the Library, and Skip and Loafer as well as Radiant 4, Dandadan 2, Maison Ikkoku 7, Witch Hat Atelier 10, and the first Fairy Tail Master’s Edition.
Needless to say, my manga self is very happy.😊

Also I really liked Skyhawk. Taniguchi Sensei’s Art of Midwest America is amazing. Also, as a historian and someone who double checked his accuracy, this book stays on line with real events that happened during the American Indian Wars(beside the fictional two main characters of course)

Will be checking out The Case Study of Vanitas. It sounds interesting and love vampires as well as grimoires. Waiting to see if they get Omnibus of Card Captor Sakura Clear Card but a fun series to read. I have been mostly been reading books from the library but I did pick up Fruits Basket Another Volume 4 and The Savior's Book Cafe Story In Another World Volume 1.
I didn't read before either, but started reading 86 LN and Mushoku Tensei LN and I have enjoyed it very much and now actually look forward to reading LNs
I had a slightly smaller haul than you. I picked up volumes 5, 6, and 7 of Fist of the North Star from rightstuf and volume 1 of Red Hood from instocktrades.

Damn those Astro Boy volumes are bricks... is it even possible to read them without creasing the spine?

If you're not into Shangri-la Frontier by the third volume then it's not going to happen. The third volume is when it gets really good so if you're not invested at this point then *shrug*. It's one of my favorite series but I'll be the first to admit it's not for everyone.

Chobits i never read but i watched the anime and i enjoyed it although its not normally my type of show to watch but it was really funny and entertaining

I love asume chan, one of the better yuri mangas I've read so far, very saucey. Man, I'm in love with dandadan, it's wackiness is too much

I have fallen behind on komi too. mostly because I didn't really like volumes 19 and 20, so now I'm kinda waiting for the series to be over so I can just grab the rest of volumes in one shot and get past this part I'm finding boring. honestly happens a lot with me when I hit around volume 20 with a series.
