Taurus is starting to put some pressure on Glock and Smith and Wesson IMO, G3C will be the most sold pistol in 2020. You will literally get the most bang for your money with this pistol. Homerun by Taurus.

A few weeks ago, I bought in-store at Rural King 2 Taurus pistols. I bought a G3C and a G3. I got out the door with both for less money than I would have paid for one Glock 19. For me, that was a no brainer.

This is it. Now that they've put a better trigger and slide finish plus metal sights that can be replaced with any Glock sights too. They've proven to be reliable and at this price point man it's going to be hard for Glock and others to compete soon.
My Taurus PT 111 G2 was one of the best firearms I ever owned. Outstanding reliability. I regret selling it. I may have to pick one of these up if they can keep them in stock. Only complaint is that safety. They should offer a version without it. Just my preference.
Pep Nyc Not going to happen. The safety is there for lawyers and liability. Some companies will take the liability of not having a manual safety and some companies won't. If you don't like it then don't use it.
Super excited, mine arrives tomorrow at my FFL dealer :) this has gotten epic and amazing reviews all across the board. The G2c version is a definite great investment. Why spend 600 to 1000 on a name, Ive yet to read any bad reviews where ppl complain it jams, misfires frequently, or is a bad gun...S&W and Glock may want to start paying attention.
I've never much trouble with Taurus hand guns ( except that 24/7 POS). But others may have. So I'm glad Taurus has upped their game. My latest is a TH9c and Its a great little gun and a great value. It's become my EDC.
Nice review, for a nice weapon. Taurus made some pretty good improvements over the G2c. For $259.99 I think it would be worth getting. The third magazine, covers $30.00 of the cost. If you haven’t gotten a G3 don’t, get the G3c! Be Safe!

Probably gonna be the best value out there once prices settle down. I've got both a PT111 and G2C, bought when they were super cheap on sale. For what they are I think they were well worth the money. The upgrades on the G3c look pretty great, especially the sights.
I predicted the upgrade to the new G3 trigger system for the next gen G series compact. And a very welcome upgrade it is. But I was pleasantly surprised by some of the additional changes. I think it is strange that the G3 was releases with the Taurus sight dovetail. But the G3c has the Glock sight dovetail. Especially considering the recent release of the Taurus/Ameriglo night sights for the G2c/TX22/G3. Now Taurus will have to do a second model of night sights just to fit the G3c. I wonder how long it will be before the G3 is changed to the Glock dovetail.
Glock used to charge German car prices for German cars... with today's competition + Glock's unchanged prices (relative to years), buying a Glock is like paying for a German sports car while getting a Japanese sedan. If you're down with that, I have a bridge to sell you, cheap.
I just got one today at my local gun shop. I was looking at the g2c and seen it peeking behind the 2 g2s in front and it was the exact same price for the g3c as the g2c. For 250$ its gonna be hard to beat

Bulldog That’s what you have to do. I’m on notification list for numerous items. Like I was on a PSA list and it popped up and I had to purchase immediately before it sold out again for months. You can hesitate to think about it or it will be gone.
I just picked mine up like 3 weeks ago, I’ve put a couple hundred rounds through my range partner’s G2C and maybe about less than 100 rounds through his G3, I haven’t made it to the range yet but when I do, I will post a video on first shots
I think it’s a good budget gun. It makes me wonder why the big name brands can’t bring their price point down. As long as people keep buying the more expensive guns I guess they won’t. My opinion is that most of the polymer framed striker fired pistols should be under 400 dollars.

Make sure you clean these weapons when you buy them. Bought my G2C brand new out of the box and it was dirty as hell when I opened it up. I know they test them before selling but the least Taurus could have done was clean the dam gun!

Maybe they will but the caliber is not popular these days and many gun manufacturers have to reduce the price on the 40 to sell them. The resell value is very poor as well.
the only thing different about the g3c is the new trigger and worse sights than the g2c has no thanks i think i will just keep my g2c plus the trigger on my Ruger ec9s is so much better than either taurus my thought and if the g3 magazines will work in the g3c i bet they will also fit the g2c
It actually has numerous upgrades or changes as I think all the reviewers are pointing out. 1. New improved Tenifer coating replacing the super cheap black oxide coating on the h2c. 2. Teflon Coates internals. 3. Improved grip texturing. 4. Smoother/crisper trigger. 5. Less tacky loaded chamber indicator. 6. Glock style dove tail. 7. Dimples grip for stripping mags. 8. Loss of the beveled slide 9. Front slide serrations. 10. Much deeper slide serrations. 11. A third mag for virtually the same price. Probably more that I am forgetting. The G2c is great and many may not feel like making a change but the G3c is the better gun. At least I think most people will think so.
The stippling is so aggressive that it can't be carried against the skin, the trigger take up is long enough that you could eat a sandwich before it reaches the wall and the sights do not pick up at all. Other than that its a great little piece
All pistols are safety checked before the video. It just gets annoying having to tell everyone it’s been safety checked or even worse having to show it visually EVERYTIME. You want to know an insider secret to tell if the gun was safety checked in advance? It didn’t fire when the trigger was pulled. Amazing I know.

I have the G2c, an I love it. They also make a G2c in 40 S&W also a very good gun. BUT! Where is the G2C in 10 mm or in 380 acp. The G3c in 9mm is just reinventing the wheel, when you can't find 9mm unless your an reloader. Also being a reloader, would like to know when Taurus come out of the Portalet and make a G2c in 380 acp & 10mm. Or for us reloaders makes some Primers. But with two Parent Companies like Smith & Wesson, an Beretta U.S.A. you don't get to eat at the Parents Table & told what to eat. If you wont have any Dessert. They should take a lesson Trump, put up a Butler Building in Bainbridge, Ga. an start making handgun ammo not ventilators. Or better than that, in one of Beretta two factories in Brazil so the Democrat Party can't sniff their hair or touched them Inappropriately. G3C is a replacement for the G2C, being a direct evolution of the Millenium Pro.

This should essentially faze out the G2c. The price point is so close. I like the look of this one much more with the G3 features.
And this gun will be fazed out too, because they will change the strikers for the Ts9 line in america.
I am looking forward to that one the most as it resembles the tx22.
