I wish there was a church like this around me. I am thankful that God has allowed these tapes to survive and thankful that God is using you to get these into the world.
Great sermon and you know it's an old one because Barbara Hutton ended up married 7 times before she died and Dr only mentions 5 here. She was still alive when he preached this wonder if she ever heard him?
I think he mentioned she died in 1979 in this. I didn't know who she was. I looked her up & wouldn't you know it...wikipedia says she & Howard Hughes had an affair. Coincidence Doc mentioned them both in this? I don't think so🧐. Talk about birds of a feather flocking together too🐓

God called the firmament Heaven...let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place and let the dry land APPEAR: and it was so. And God called the dry land Earth; That tells it all to me .

Doc was unique. But check out Vance of Vance Publications, Grady of Grady Publications, and Robert Militello. Gail Riplinger was raised up by God to drive a tent peg through the brains of male scholars. Dr Ruckman highly recommended her stuff, and so do I. Dr Gipp has great stuff on the defense of the KJB.
Lester Roloff is a different style, but comparable to Dr. Ruckman. Unfortunately, he left us in 1982. Fortunately, we have a book(1611, 1769) which will not leave us. If you are concerned that it will memorize it. I have memorized Proverbs, I and II Timothy. It takes some maintenance, but I know Roloff memorized a lot. I suspect Ruckman also memorized a good deal of it. I used a lot of time to stretch and walk, while memorizing Proverbs. Instead of counting, I would quote it. Once I got a bit I quoted one chapter. People think it cannot be done. Some people think we cannot live without television. Memorizing scripture will also help one preach the gospel. That is better than Ruckman and Roloff. I know both would agree. It will also give one a better appreciation of both men. As Ruckman said, I did not get it by listening to tapes, I got it by reading the Book. The thing I appreciate the most about Ruckman is his zeal for Jesus Christ and for the Book which tells us who the true Jesus is and what the truth is.

Don, I noticed a difference in different King James Bibles when I was memorizing Proverbs. In my house I had three Bibles opened to which I referred as I was quoting the verses. I noticed differences which surprised me. If I had not embarked on this project I would probably have never noticed. I was under the impression that the 1769 edition was the perfect one. I had heard of an Oxford and a Cambridge edition. I did not realize 1769 was Oxford and the Cambridge had a different date. I know the 1769 has a Scottish accent. I have been teaching English and some Math in Taiwan for a long time. I try to keep my King James arguments simple. My field is math, but I have been influenced by a zeal for the King James Bible. I had been reading it for a few years before someone told me it was the perfect Bible. I noticed that King James new testaments with Psalms and Proverbs were hard to find. I felt led by the Holy Spirit to memorize Proverbs. I felt the Devil wanted to steal Americans wisdom. That was my way of fighting that. It was the first book I read after receiving Jesus in 1983. It was the first book I read when I switched to the Authorised Version. It was the first book I memorized. None of that was planned by me. I noticed it years later. I will mention that at one time I stopped reading Ruckman's books. I liked him too much, and felt it was reducing my time reading the Bible. I call the bookstore every few years to ask a question and get a sense of sanity. I appreciate your putting Ruckman on the internet. I would not be here if my wife and daughter had not bought me a smartphone. Please make sure you continue daily Bible reading. I promised God 15 minutes a day and to make it up if I failed to do so.
