It is so intriguing watching what it intels to build a home from start to finish. To all of the builder's, welders, electricians, plumbers, interior decorators and to anybody I might have left out; you all have done an Awesome job on this project and Thank You for all of your hard work. I would love to have one of these container homes built using 3 containers.

Thank you for your video. What interested me the most was the way you seal and cover the containers together at the floor. That was the first time I seen someone addressed that part of building a container home. I've watched a number of videos. Thank you again.

Bon, you sir are a great craftsman with a good design flare. I thoroughly enjoyed watching both part 1&2 videos. I like container homes, they are strong, won't be affected by termites. Condensation issues I've read in comments by others and their experiences have been overcome by them, your work is brilliant, hoping to go towards that direction myself in the near future here in Australia. Looking towards the future should you make a part 3 video and keen to learn more. I've read most comments about your videos and your project, many great positive comments and great info learnt from them. Regards Rick In western Australia.

The man with the plan. Good job. The only thing I would change is, instead of welding the original container doors shut, I would have opened them up and made a small patio by adding a small floor and sliding glass window. By the way I think the added tin roof on this project was genius.

A superb job. In Canada there would be masses of by-laws against using containters. If it has a light bulb in it, it is classed as a structure and must have 3 years of permits, Engineering designs, neighbourhood assessment, blah blah.
I would have opted for 4" thick framing on walls with Fibreglass insulation and vapour barrier on top of that prior to drywall. Poured pad and certainly Tornado anchors. If they had been placed as opposites you would have the option of Barn Doors at both ends. Just some observations. I expect you are in Southern USA. Well done.

I'd love to see a plan/ build that uses (4) containers: 3 above ground & 1 below to serve as a basement/storm shelter, that'd be great!! Marvin Werner, Actually, when people ask me if I would do again, I reply, probably not. You are correct in saying that it would have been easier to build out of wood. I would build out of wood primarily because it is conventional construction methods and lumber yards are geared toward that method. Thanks for your comment. Bon the Builder.

I think it is great, albeit an unconventional timeline (ie: moving in and hanging cabinets before finishing) but that is ok. I'm sure you had your reasons for that. No worries. I would love to know approximately what this house cost you to build? I am considering building something very similar on a piece of land in the country. Thanks!

Very impressive. It looks like you did most of the work yourself. It looks great. Wondering what you are sharing regarding costs? Just for the curious. Also, a bit about your background, what skill-set you brought to the project? Again, mostly out of curiosity. I like looking at the container projects, and tiny homes. Probably not ever venturing into it myself, but, again interesting hobby. Thanks.

I really, really, love this video and all of the effort. The skills and creativity are top level. The strength of containers and repurposing. But at the same time, the work that is put in to working "around" the steel box. Is it worth it financially? Would it have been just as cheap and easy to just ending building this structure from wood? Does anyone have a compare and contrast build cost of this? Thanks for the content
