Hi euc friends, i decided to take the new and improved super grippy pedals for a test drive during my commute to work. Its a 15km ride from the park to the arena.

Super fast wheel thought: Was riding last weekend in my hometown. A huge dog takes exception to me existing and decided to give chase and anger. Ninebot One E+ is only able to go 19 kmh. He caught me in less than a quarter of a block. Hopped off the unicycle and positioned my body armor to take the bite... He looked at my helmet (motorcycle) and body armor and changed his mind.
Ended up giving him rubs and he went back home. We also have bears. So I see the value of having the speed for those rare times when needed when the risk of going fast is less than going slow.

Dude! Congrats on the V10 Get. Being arguably the #1 Inmotion rider on TH-cam certainly helps. As for the speed I feel like it's impossible to control what others are going to do with that speed. It's a weird catch 22; you need power to make sure it's safe and wont dump the rider, but to do that you give the rider the opportunity to use that power irresponsibly. Ultimately the rider has to learn when it's appropriate to use that power for themselves. Personally I feel like I wouldn't need to go faster than I'd go on a regular pedal bike, but some times you might need a quick boost.
Yes Alpha. Amazing comment thanks for sharing this. More power come greater responsibility haha. But i think with the Inmotion V10F ill have that extra boost for times where i could pull put of a tricky situation or when i hit a big pot hole to keep the wheel upright. Like you say, just got to ride it responsibly and stay safe.

Great video. St Petersburg is such an amazing city Glad to hear that you are getting a sponsorship with Inmotion, you deserve it. Wouldn't it be great if they designed a hybrid large peddle; combining the rubber pads with grip-tape, strip inserts. Then we could have the best of both worlds. Cheers 👍
Yes Gordon That would be a wicked idea. Being able to switch from rubber to super grip tape would be amazing. I love this convertipn. But i do miss the rubber. Was very comfortable. Will see what happends with Inmotion when i move to Macau. BE awesome to work closer and share options from you guys on the channel direct to Inmotion.

Wow! What a fun cool video. I'm still researching my first wheel. I did short training rides on a V8 and a Z10. Surprisingly, I found the Z10 easier. I don't really care that much about speeds over 25 mph. But I do want range and power. Range for a day of exploring and power for steep hills. Range and power equate to a heavy larger wheel. My selected options are: MCM5 mostly for size; Tesla seems to be good all around; Nikola seems to be even better all around. However, weight increases, from 37 to 42 to 55 pounds, with each of these wheels along with capability. Also, of course, increased cost. I'm finding this selection quite daunting. Anyway... Peace...Guy
Hello mate, great opinions. It's a tricking descion to make buying your first wheel. The Tesla is incredible. I have had so much fun with my V8 and can't wait to get the V10F for those longer days of riding. Good luck with what ever wheel you decide to get. I don't think you will be disappointed either way.
Thanks for the geat video! Hope you took the train to Moscow. If not, fyi, it is a neat way to get there. You're getting straight from one city center to another, no commuting overhead, and obviously no restrictions on lithium batteries😎
I have taken to the train before. Pretty great. That time he took a plane i think.

Hi Neal, St Petersburg is an awesome city, but their curbs are like you said a bit large and hard to traverse, especially for wheels and the handicapped, they definitely need to modernize their city on that aspect.
As for the Tesla I love that wheel
It is the fastest wheel I own so quick and agile, Im 60 yrs old and my knees are limited to standing for a long period of riding, so rather than give up the sport that I love, I bought the KS18S its the tallest unicycle out there, and it has a seat that is more ergonomically correct to the human body than that of the MSX which has a seat, but I consider it a Squatty Potty on a wheel...lol anyway Neal love your journey and keep'm comming
Oh Almost forgot did you ever think of adding stickers to your wheel from every city you have visited? I think it would say alot to others, To boldly go, where no wheel, has gone before! 😎👍

Last nite I took my wheel to the beach, wz goen by this bar, & this woman outside smoking stopped me & she wz so fascinated with my wheel, we struck up a conversation & one thing led to another and before long she invited me back to her place, soon after I wz waking up to the aroma of eggs, bacon, & hash browns cooking in her kitchen, she made us both breakfast, and there's also a date for dinner tonite! I just got back to my house now, wow what a night her name is Lillian, what a woman, but I owe it all to my fascinating KS18S and KingSong the perfect ice breaker.

Re what you said about the shipping costs, China to Aust is cheap. I had a big wooden crate with laser cutter in it delivered to Aust, shipping costs about $150 AUD. It was bigger and heavier than an EUC. Just put it in a box in Thailand, and get the post office to weigh and price shipping to Aust. If you make a fuss about lithium batteries etc you might end up at a courier company instead, paying really high shipping.
Hi Wiz, Mate thats a great idea, Ive had DHL Quote me 200 Pounds for Bangkok to Melbourne and that will ship in a few days with the Battery. But i would love to try the Thai post and see if it comes in cheaper. Thanks mate.
Hello! I agree with you about the fast wheels. In particular, I believe that a lot depends also on the road conditions, as well as on traffic, on one's abilities, etc. More than a super fast wheel I would like to have a cushioned wheel!

You can get a battery pack made in Melbourne. Baja board the skateboard company should be able to help. There are others.
Another great idea. Ive managed to get my wheel on route to Australia so hopefully i wont need to get a battery built. But good knowledge to know.

You think you'll move the plates over to the V10F, get a new kit for it or keep the rubber inserts?
I agree re. speed, theres no need to go that fast. I limit my Tesla to 30 kph, which is fast enough for me.
In your line of work breaking a clavicle (as is very possible on an EUC) would probably leave you without a job for a good while (I'm guessing). So stay safe! :)
I agree with John L, a montage of your journey, so far, would be nice.
Olav, Alright mate. Im thinking ill use another set of the grip kit for the V10F. Love the grip. The rubber is nice but when its wet it slippery.
Yeah thats it. I cant risk a big injury like that. Its a lot of fun and insane how they can go that fast but i dont see me using it. But would be good to have that power to keep the wheel upright during big bumps and stairs etc. Montage is coming soon. Thanks again mate.

Yeah the Rubber is super comfy but when ive had wet shoes etc its certainly not as grippy.
Can one take their EUC on the plane? How did you bring it to another country? How to travel with EUC?
That’s quite a ride, how much battery was left when you got there? - I can’t wait to get my larger pedals, may need to get grip tape too 😂
I think i had about 30 percent left. Yeah the bigger pedals are a ride changer. The rubber is pretty amazing just good to have the grip option when it gets wet.

How do you take the unicycle when you on travels? Isn't it banned from flights?
Hi Ali, yeah they are banned on flights. I was luck enough to store my wheel on a truck that would drive to each place whilst i would fly.

No worries mate. Yes im still using the original tyre haha i finally found an original stock wheel but ill have to wait for a few weeks now.

Yeah,no where you are coming from about the speed of some wheels you just can't risk those sorts of speeds in the urban environment else and accident with a pedestrian is inevitable.
Hi Ivan, Yeah speed is heaps of fun but comes at a higher risk. I think more power will be good for stairs or big bumps in the road etc.
