    Although I first visited the Philippines in 2007, I grew up with the Filipino culture living in the Bay Area. I decided to retire in the Philippines at the age of 61. I collected my social security early at 62 and also had a monthly pension that allows me to live more comfortably here than in America. People are always smiling and friendly and the weather is more suitable for an older person. Hahahaha, when I went back to America to visit family, I was shocked by the food and rent prices. It made me feel like I made the right decision!!!!! 👍🇵🇭🇺🇲

    Let’s face it the reality is the Filipino people are more friendlier than people are in America. They are always smiling and laughing having a good time despite what economic hardships they may have.
    The cost of living definitely is a plus in the 🇵🇭. There are a lot of positives to anyone making the move. Me myself I spend 4-6 months a year in the 🇵🇭. Soon after I sale off my businesses and houses it will be my permanent residence.
    Life is definitely better in the 🇵🇭 take it from me. Ive seen the place transform and change a lot since my first visit in 1983. Yes that’s right I’m a long time visitor here, after 3 years at Clark AB I’ve been coming to the 🇵🇭 since. The only break I had was during the pandemic.
    I love ❤️ it Thanks for sharing ✌🏾.

    The reality for foriegner in the Philippine.They can easily manage the financial expenses and affordable.It depends the way of lifestyle.The life is slow and less of stress.In the west you need to be hurry to make money because the life is fast and so stressful.And the cost of living is always disaster everyday.

    For someone as young as Aaron, the states is where to stack cash. I tried to retire at age 44 to Asia and bought a place, but I went back to work. Men need to be productive to be happy. Rented out my place and will be buying another one, and will retire at age 50 instead

      I'm not a retiree or a vlogger at all, in my 30s, and am saving up to move to the Philippines...so there are exceptions. I'm leaving because people in America try to use others too much, and they and many women are rude, arrogant, entitled, narcissistic and self-obsessed. And yes, everything being overpriced and also too much political obsession. It's a dystopian nightmare now and I can't wait to get the hell out of there. I'm planning on getting there next year or 2026. I want a happier quality of life.

    Interesting interview. The best fastest retirement source is US MILITARY 🪖 RETIREMENT. Next source is of course Social Security at age 62. I lived in the Philippines 🇵🇭 in 1991,I was age 28. Stationed at Clark Air Base (Angeles 😂City). Now age 61, widower and all my children are grown now. Next year in 2025, no later than end of the year. I want to return and retire there at age 62. Having a monthly stable income is a advantage in the Philippines 🇵🇭 👌. Like I suggested for a young man, earliest retirement income is military 🪖 retirement. Eventually I will utilize the American Military 🪖 Philippines sponsored SRRV program. Thank you and good luck to the young man 👨.

      I agree but it's good that Philippines doesn't allow foreigners to buy land, and there's not enough foreigners or buy condos compared to the number of Filipinos themselves. I would say it's the OFW who work abroad and send money home. Since there are millions of Filipino working abroad, compared to a few thousand foreigners who actually do buy condos and can't even buy land.

    • @Lawrencerice
      @Lawrencerice 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      That is a common myth. There simply are not enough foreigners to vastly impact the rental market. Plus most of us expats are interested in more Western style housing, which is way out of the price range of the ordinary Filipino. Just more "blame the foreigner" going on.
