I always love seeing all of your videos, it is always so much fun seeing you both enjoying so much delicious food and snacks and drinks. Thanks again for another great video, have a great weekend coming up, sending love and hugs, bye!! 🥰😍😘🙏💜💜💜
I always enjoy seeing the variety of delicious foods, history about the food and locations of all your journeys! I'm appreciative of your passion! Thanks and love from rainy London! 🌸
This is really making me nostalgic. Thanks to both of you I had an amazing solo vacation in Japan last May. All of your videos made me desperately want to visit Japan and enjoy it's diverse food culture. The next time I visit Kyoto I'm definitely dragging my friends along to visit all these place. They look amazing! Thank you once again!
The soft rice cakes at Nishiki Market is amazing, I always buy a couple bags every time I'm in Kyoto to take back home. A couple seconds in the microwave and it'll be warm, and gooey again - such a great snack!
Nice to see a place I may never get to visit being a cripple n all! Hope you guys had a blast off camera too. Needed this kinda pick me with the power still being out after Milton hit is n left my part of town outta power. You two are my favorite antidepressant!
I love dango, yatsuhashi, sweet potato, and dorayaki. Oh, I also love yuzu. That yuzu tea you had earlier looked really refreshing. What a fun day of eating in Kyoto.
I never knew it was a Kyoto thing Mitarashi Dango thanks for the great info!!!! 😊👍🏻 And dam I love the long history shops that’s what I want never into the new shop trying to just attract the new tourists!!! Really !
once, i was lucky enough to drop by daishōgun shrine while they were making mochi, and they invited me to try - it seems like SUCH a lovely, local, authentic & healing place to visit. i love yokai and so i'm very fond of that street too - it's not a place that tourists visit and its full of locals, but there's a real sense of history there. highly recommend :)
That guy with the grayish blue shirt is such a blonde sometimes and you’re so nice for not teasing him 😂 You said in the bokksu “this flavor is toast with strawberry jam” and then he said “ohhh wow, just imagine the taste is like uhhh toast with….jam!” 😂😂😂❤ I would never guess that! 😅
I have celiac disease, and my choice is limited on these foods. The dango with sweet potatoes and chestnut 🌰 , tge machines, the pickles and those treats not containing wheat, barley, ray, and soy sauce are ok for me. Nice video, beautiful places. Thank you for sharing this ❤

Would you ever consider a gluten-free food tour video? I know lately Japan has been doing a lot more food allergen labeling that is easier to identify for those who don't speak Japanese.
@@davidyip6418 I mean, how many times can they say so and so matcha flavor thing is great. I hate matcha flavor so it kinda bums me out that they constantly have matcha flavor stuff...no big deal just...mehcha
@@xXCigarXx maybe try matcha prepared different ways….iced with fruit syrup is popular. Also with yuzu soda, or coconut water. Another option to try might be hojicha, or black sesame lattes. 😊
@@toniteeny1234 if i didnt live in a hillbilly town of 6k people we might have that stuff but Id have to drive about 40 miles to find any of what you are talking about. Coconut water.....I might be able to get that, either way Im just not into it....it's like someone reccomending a beer but you dont like alcohol in general.
@@xXCigarXx no ill intent but if you quote “hillbilly” here, please open your eyes to what different cultures actually have to offer and don’t just put down a culture based on a personal dislike for an n-th of what they have to offer. Hands down one of the best food vlogs!!!
PS
My 12th Bokksu Box arrived today!!! I’m Native American Indian from Central Oregon. 🎉
Dango looks awesome, one of my favorites! We had dango at Senjosi temple last week, my friends from California loved it!
The sweet potato with chestnut sounds really good. I've never seen pickled eggplant, what a great idea. Like anything pickled. Hi from Oregon US.
Same, with "anything pickled" 😂
I'm seriously thinking about trying to make that (the pickled eggplant)!

I absolutely loved this! More picnics please! You both look resplendent!❤❤❤
Awesome stuff. Thanks guys!
The pickeled veggies would be right up my alley. I would probably sit there all day filling up on those pickled veggies.
I really liked that quiet area at the beginning but those desserts looked so delicious It is worth wading through crowds.
Yum

Very good, not long winded any more👍
Beautiful treats. ⛩ I really appreciate the packaging, as well.
Love to try the nure senbei! I miss Kyoto. I've been there a couple of times but that's more then 10 years ago.
Thank you for this! We're visiting Kyoto next spring and I need to visit several of these...no, ALL of these places!!
sounds good and both good to my eyes🥹

Having that Bokksu tonight, actually. Will be our 30th!
Suuuper beautiful! I'm so excited for my bokksu for this month 😊 admittedly I didn't like the daigaku imo from that shop you showed. It was very dry 😢

Btw, how are these tsukemono pickles made? Would love to see even a full video on that.
YOUR first mitarashi rice dango video is 8 years ago XD
Saw you two enjoying a very expensive meal on a train in the program called the Mightiest 😅

I would think the corn Kobe donuts are like corn fritters in the U.S.
Does Sotoshi ( pardon me for butchering your name) not like cinnamon or us he allergic to cinnamon?
He doesn’t care for cinnamon

Do you have a favorite place to stay in Kyoto?
Is everything in japan just green tea matcha flavor? Sure seems like it.
No. It's just their preferred flavor.
