I used to think our thrift stores were the best place to source, but that was during my time working for a company. Our flea market is amazing and giving. For what I'm big on looking for like, glass, I won't find much of that at the bins. Both are awesome places to source from.
You’ve got a FABULOUS flea market near you! Tons of great stuff!! Love walking around out there for sure!!
Thanks for stopping by Sonny!! 💖🐿️🤩🎰
I'm having State Fair flashbacks!!!
🤪😂😂

Those colorful connecting circles are called Int-A-Lok Interlocking Circular Disc Building toy.
We've had fun playing with them and coming up with 'alternative uses' LOL!
Thanks so much for watching!
Bins are my favorite too!!
Yaaas!!
I like garage sales, bins and Auctions!
SAAAAME!! I'll pick anywhere!!
Thanks for sharing Kristin. Hope your doing well my friend 🙂
Thank you! You too! 🐿️
I remember those disks in the bag. If they are what I think, we used to connect them and build structures like you thought.
We've had fun playing with them and coming up with 'alternative uses' LOL!
Thanks so much for watching!! 💖🐿
That Lego box has seen better days.
For sure!!
I love both but am not close enough to a bins to go frequently. Flea markets are almost every weekend in good weather locally. Garage sales are plentiful, but I really like the free pile after a garage sale! 🤣
You're onto something with that free pile!! 💯
Hi ya Squirrel!!😊 no real flea market s. In middle indiana too. Will go to several in n Illinois and Wisconsin in spring
I’ve seen immaresellit shop a Chicago flea market and I’d love to go to that one in the spring too!! 🤪🐿️
Elkhorn Flea Market is in southern Wisconsin 3x May, June and ? It’s fabulous and definitely road trip worthy and you could hit the Milwaukee bins
Yep - you said it…the bins are where it’s at! 🔥 There are a few independent thrift stores in my region - and while they are very well run and much cheaper than retail GW - I still cringe at the prices and…just like you do…weigh what I pick up there and sigh because YOU CANNOT BEAT BINS prices!
So great seeing Aunt Sherry - she is such a wealth of knowledge.
Excited to see your next adventure. Thanks so much for taking us on this one!
You know it Sara!! Bins pricing is fab-u-loso!!
I used to love to go to flea markets but I don’t anymore because now I know that most of the sellers at our flea markets get their stuff from the bins & all of the other thrift stores I shop at & them mark up the prices. 😏
YOu're so right!! Most of the people I saw everyday at the Denver bins during the week were at the Mile High Flea Market on the weekends!!
Good to see you!
I'm glad you stopped by! Come hang out anytime! 💖🐿
Bins!
Yaaaas!! 🤪
Bins definitely
Yaaaas girl!!
That is definitely a building set-they interlock-I had them as a child and I am 64
We've had fun playing with them and coming up with 'alternative uses' LOL!
There's a weekly auction place near me. Im tempted to go. maybe that's something ill do this year.
That's sounds sooooo fun!! Next to the bins, that's where I've gotten some of the best items for some fabulous prices!! Worth trying!!
Hi Kristen, since you said Central Illinois, I thought I'd mention there is a flea market at Exposition Gardens in Peoria on a quite regular basis. Love your videos, been watching for a while but just subscribed today.
Oh cool! Thanks so much for the tip on the Peoria flea market! I'll have to check that out!! We used to go to Third Sunday in Bloomington once in a while. Have you been to that one?
Thanks so much for subbing!! Really means a lot to me!! 💖🐿
@@ARuralSquirrel No, but I've heard great things about it, it's definitely on my to-do list. There are two estate sales in my area this weekend, and those are definitely my jam.
Just started watching your videos. The bins nearest me are in a real sketchy part of town. I truly would love to go but can not find anyone that would go with me.
Thanks so much for watching! Appreciate it so much!
Unfortunately, most/many outlets are in areas of town that are generally not great or industrial. My advise would be to find a reseller group in your area (an eBay seller group, a Poshmark group, a thrift friend) and make friends with one of them who would go with you the first time. After that, you’ll be more comfortable and you’ll be able to go on your own. You’ll have a blast!! Happy digging!!
Bins please! 😂
I am with you! ❤
Yaaaas!! 💖🐿️
They are called brain flakes plastic disc toy. Love ur videos watching from Texas 👋
We've had fun playing with them and coming up with 'alternative uses' LOL!
Thanks so much for watching (from TX)!! Really appreciate you!
After you have been to the bins, it kind of ruins you for everything else, especially the Jacksonville, Il. location! Are you now close to it? I do love estate sales, flea markets and garage sales! One place you need to check out when the weather gets better, is the flea market in Rutledge, Mo. I heard about it from Misty at Junk To Be Loved and stopped there on the way to visit my parents in northwestern Illinois last summer. I was blown away by their phenomenal prices!!!
I'd LOVE to go to the Rutledge flea market!! Sounds so fun! But you're right, it's too hard to shop ANYWHERE else when the bins pricing has me ruined!! LOL
The Jax bins are about 2 hours from me now. The STL bins are actually closer.
I’m so jealous when I watch your bins videos! I’ve never been to the bins. The one closest to me is clothing only and since I don’t sell clothing it’s kinda a bummer. I’m going to have to road trip to get out to a good bins one day!
Oh man!!! I’d be totally down for a bins road trip with you!!! 🤪 We’d have soooo much fun!!
Flea Market?!? Traitor!!!! Long live the Bins! 😂 Great Video!
😂😂😂💖
Flea market is my best source.
If you've got a good one, it's super fun!! I loved the one in Denver too!!
Thanks so much for watching!
Central ,IL you say???
Where'd you land?
Bins all-the-way!
Bins all the way!!
217 all day!! 😉
Love your videos 😊
Awww! Thank you so much!! Really appreciate hearing that!!
We don't have "The Bins" in ND!!! I love a good day of garage sales!!
I've heard about your fabulous yard sales in ND!! It's only 1 of 6 states I haven't visited!! Gotta knock that one off my list someday!!
You let me know and I will take you!!!@@ARuralSquirrel
I like flea markets but like you said, a lot of their prices are eBay prices.
Flea markets are super fun for sure!! But I have been spoiled by bins pricing!!
I find that since I started thrifting full time about 8 yrs ago, I just can't spend money on things unless it is something that never goes on sale. So I guessed Bins immediatly... I am really excited to go to garage sales this summer since I am a full time reseller. I would love to know if you come to the Omaha area.... Thanks again for a great video....
I do actually get to the Omaha area each October for Junkstock! Such a super fun event! And I've been to some EPIC yard sales in Omaha!! (Lived in Papillion for a few years).
Thanks so much for watching!!
Awesome video
Thanks so much! Really appreciate you watching!!
My 7 year old Lego Expert said you did not over pay. I'm cheap and would have bargained with seller.
Whew!! LOL! 😂 I tried to get him to $10.00 but he said no - and my brother wanted it. 😂😂
Enjoyed this video❤
Yay!! Thank you! Appreciate you watching!!
I struggle with the St Louis bins because they don’t rotate during the 3 hour windows.
Yeah - I wish they didn't close to rotate too!! Especially when we drive for a couple of hours to get there and have nothing to do while we wait for it to open again!! A lot of times, we start at the downtown bins, go to lunch at IKEA or City Foundry, and either go back to the downtown bins or head over to the Northside location!
Cute hair!
Thanks! 😊
I prefer the bins and yard sales. An estate sale can even be fun but I don’t care for flea markets.
And in-person auctions!! (If I'm being honest, I'll pick anywhere! LOL!)
❤

Was this in Mt Vernon IL?
Springfield
And. I m 70 min from bins
I think you overpaid for the Legos. I would not have paid $15 for the Legos.
Honestly, I don't normally do LEGO but I sent a pic of it to my brother, who is a longtime collector. He said to get it 🤷♀️
The bins is king for a lot of resellers but you can find some better more targeted merchandise from antique flea market sellers. I think it’s unrealistic to have just general vintage stuff at eBay prices at a flea market…if it’s sellable at eBay prices that’s your biggest audience ….unfortunately many people do not know who to calculate the difference between asking price and selling price AND sell through rate….ive seen the biggest offenders of this be flea market sellers…they look up price on eBay and stop their research….nope that’s not the whole story.
Boy, you're so spot on with the way a lot of people look up items on Ebay!! Still fun to see all the cool stuff at the flea market - but bins will always be one of my favorite places to dig!
Thanks so much for watching!
