- We visit the April 2023 Kempton arms fair, have a look around and chat to John
Melewski, Peter Binfield and Lawrie Armatruda about some interesting Airguns they found at the fair.
Thanks to John M for the pictures and Peter & Liz for the invite.

Fortunately I only live about 2 miles away so regularly attend. Peter and the Boss do plan a great arms fair😊
I’m only 30 mins away and count myself lucky, it’s such a great event and nice to catch up with other collectors. Cheers
Your channel is a hidden gem for Airgun aficionados.
Very nice of you to say so, thanks
Keep them coming. Great channel and we need more like this at arms fairs
Thanks mate, got some nice vids in the pipeline 👍
Really enjoyed the show was good to see what the military fare is like and see some rare air guns and have them explained 👍
Blued steel and wood... drooling.
Brilliant video mate, really enjoyed some of those old air rifles....being the proud owner of a webley service mk2 and a bsa light standard....which are both in bits lol, ready to be restored just need a sear for the mk2 and a few mor bits for the bsa...when the pennies alow me lol
When you’re ready have a look at Protek supplies, they have loads of reasonably priced spares for these models. (I should be sponsored by them!) thanks for watching
Living in America not a big air gun following so this was a great education very interesting Thanks!
Glad you found it interesting. All modern spring guns can trace their routes to the American Henry Quackenbush who invented the modern spring piston airgun design back in the late 1800’s. Cheers from London
Even if l could buy the real thing l would still buy my umarex, crosman, ASG, KWC, copies in co2, they look and feel great, and cost barely anything too shoot hundreds of rounds. 😂
Outstanding and thank you for sharing it's always fun
Cheers
Wow! Some beautiful examples of vintage air guns. I wish our arms fairs in Canada had more air guns.
Glad you found it of interest.
That LP53 Conversion is pretty sweet, Amazing selection, I would be going home a broke man but extremely happy
I agree about the LP53, and I'm sure a replacement 'piston' could be machined to fit so the original one could be kept.
I definitely want one!
Cheers
Thanks for that I used to have a table here, my health no longer good enough to cope. But it was good to see some of the old faces.
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks. I had a table there once and it is very hard work. Cheers
@@dkjngl1 Yes you are not wrong it is a hard days work.
Nice
Show adorei arma antiguidades ❤❤❤❤
Great video. The Stiga airpistol is Swedish!
Ah Thanks, I wasn’t sure 100% sure, I should have checked in my ‘Encyclopaedia of Spring Air Pistols’ glad you enjoyed it. Just finished filming part 3 & 4. Cheers
Brilliant video I would love to have been there a quick question can anyone advise me where I could purchase a gamo paratrooper Air rifle I'm after one for nostalgic reasons and have not had any luck in my search so far.
Ah the Paratrooper, based on the earlier Relum repetier. if you are in the U.K. there are some on Gunstar but they are about £200 more than they should be!
Do a deep google search and you
might find one.
Cheers
