I agree. The resellers are getting outrageous. I saw a video where a fight broke out at a GW bins store, shoppers were kicked out of the store for arguing over pieces. They line up in the cold before the stores open. Some freak out if they're not 1st in line. Good grief!. What kills me is they'll show how much they pd & how much more they resell for...& people buy at those crazy prices.

I too, have tried not to bring stuff in my home, unless I absolutely love something. I almost have a store in my attic and you know I do not resell.😮😢You got some nice things and GW actually had good prices on what you got. We are going to an estate sale tomorrow. I am on the hunt for another laundry basket like your two. My very favorite item is the dogwood plate. I love Spring so much. One of the reasons I love Spring is the dogwoods in our front and side yard. They are very old and I know one day they won't flower. There are smaller ones closer to the river and one very large pink one close to the neighbors beside us. The dogwoods also remind me of my childhood. There are a lot of comments, expressing how much we all like to watch you thrift for your own home. I am going to add that if you ever find yourself with an overabundance, you could become styler for a real estate co. When I was in my 20s, which was a long time ago, I did this for my dad’s real estate company. It was so fun and I used pieces that I had and I got paid to go in and decorate the homes he had listed. It was soooo fun and sometimes people would purchase the pieces with the home. 😁 and, let’s be honest it’s a good way to be able to keep shopping after you fill up your own home. Ha ha ha I can’t help myself, but I love hunting for treasures and I didn’t want my home to turn into a hoarders home.😂

I'm a disabled mom (my ex- husband passed away so I'm the only parent). If not for thrift shopping I wouldn't be able to afford even half of the beautiful things I've found.
