There might come a time when the controller battery needs replacing. Any information/instructions about this? At least from the video, it explains how to get at it.
My remote battery shows signs of need for replacement. I wonder if aside from replacing, can I add a second battery externally in parallel by tapping on the wires so I will have 2 batteries working for the remote? Thanks!
@@RuelAmbat I don't see why not! You'd need a jumper cable, and perhaps you could add a port somewhere on the RC to piggyback an external, possibly higher capacity cell in parallel with the internal battery.

I use MODE 2, only when I take off / ascend with the drone, I pull the throttle toward me. The App does not ensure the reversal of the throttle movement direction for the Mini SE drone.

I really wanted to figure out how to adjust the springs to make them less stiff and more smooth movement. I have an sla 3d printer and been using 3d software for 8 years. I was gonna start messing with it but im sure someone has done it already, just cant find a video on it tho. Anyone know?
disassemble the pot. theres a flap wich u can tuck into the center eye. it will stay in the position u leave it in. its a bit harder to control though. recommend lowering gimbal settings to roughly 5 or 8 in app and increasing smoothness to 25

May i know why the battery has 4 wire? Recently i broke my furthest black wire and i cant connect it back. I just reassembled the controller and it still work. But i still curious about the wires.
@@maximelarocque4128 I did not remove the speaker, but silenced that thing (so it has a much lower volume, still recognizable for me but not for everyone in 200m radius ;-)
internally, on the left, there is only ONE screw ... for a total of three...I mean on the small board where the charger connector goes. probably you added it involuntarily in a previous tear down ... and yes ... the thread is there but the screw originally is not
Hello! My drone was landing on a river so i jumped into the river and saved it. I can't say the same of the controller cause in that moment of panicking i jumped with the controller and apparently some water drop came in the controller. I disassembled it and dry it and before connecting all again i wanted to make sure it turnd on and IT DIDN'T so i'm freaking out. I have already tried to charge it but without all the connectors. Do you know if all parts must be connected to reboot it???

Have you got the schematics or a close up view of the gimbal lever connector? It looks like that inverting the wires at the level of the connector would do the job ? What do you think you experts techs?

Unfortunately something kept grounding in the left stick every time I tried to put it back together, I put some electrical tape around what I though could be grounding and it’s back in action. I love the control layout way betrer
My left joystick all of a sudden lost tension when I press upwards or down & it will not reset back to the center but it does when I press leftward or right.... please help any idea what might be wrong?
Had a controller failure just after 2 months of use 6.4 hours. Button board had to be replaced, not covered under the Refresh warranty, with shipping cost around $ 150.00 CDN. 😳
It looks so much like my mavic air controller. Can a mavic air controller be used to control the mini? Has anyone tried that? That way you can just purchase the replacement mini for 269 dollars and batteries are cheap. I know hubsan uses the same protocall for all its controllers. What about this and mavic air.

What about the stubborn glue that is on the board ribbon connector and the battery connector? Shame you didn't show how to pick this off safely?

I'd assume so - a lot of devices don't like it if you try to boot them while pulled apart.

My brother nearly ripped off my antenna. Still work, kind of an inconvenience.
