Any update to the video? What are your thoughts? I have ruined to sets of Shimano cranks with my sweet. I was thinking of moving to wax lube so that I can wash down my bike without having to relube my chain every time.
I'm not convinced the wax gets deep into the rollers of the chain. It certainly does not sound like it does. Other products where you dip the chain in melted wax and then leave it to dry should be much better. I can't think of a good way to apply dry wax without heating it.
"I should have gotten my 7 y/o daughter to do this for me". Well, yeah. She would've probably done a better job. At least he got some of it on the chain.
I think you use too much there buddy. Way over Applied . Did you ever think of Taking some wax off the tube with your finger and then rubbing your finger on the chain. I think they sent you the wrong applicator. They should’ve sent you the wax in a jar they have that to
@@melvintanchannel You must not have read their report on Wend wax. It fails to penetrate the chain, leading to higher friction losses and premature wear. It's basically decorative glitter for your chain. So many people fall for the eye candy...
6:11 ohh its pretty quite!!!! "Loud noises"
Thanks for the video :) I learnt that this isn’t for me, having the messy wax everywhere would drive me crazy!
you're able to spin pedal despite rear wheel off. What part do you used it?

Chris Spelman the sound is chain rub but he used way to much
Is there a DIY version of this??
I noticed you're able to spin pedal despite rear wheel off. What do you have there to run the chain where the rear cassette is supposed to be?
Thanks for the tip. Found it on Shopee.

You really messed up 😅
@@melvintanchannel It's your first time, it's ok 👍👍
WTF? Why would anyone watch you applying a product that you have never used before? Why would your opinion at that point be worth anything?
You did lol
