We here at The Next Gear.com would love be in the room when VW come up with the names for the cars, it must be a fun thing to do. So here's a full review of the new VW Tiguan 4 motion for you to see. Enjoy
@CR4YO Thanks for the comment, glad you like it! The i30 officially launches next month in Europe, I'll be doing the quick test on it for the launch day but I don't expect to be testing it in full until summer. Looks like a nice car so far
Love these reviews, Bob: realistic, down to earth and good humoured. Currently trying to decide between the Tiguan and the Kia Sportage. Which would you pick?
@zonerlust You've hit the nail on the head, the Mazda 6 is a fabulous car. I would buy the 2.2tdi in executive spec because of the leather interior and the few extras that would make it worth it. As an alternative, there's the new Honda Accord, fine machine if a little pricey. Let us know what you decide
@HavardSorvik Sorry for the delay in responding, I was away on a trip. Right, the Tiguan and Sportage are available in 4wd as is the Subaru, the Toyota's aren't. This might not be a problem for you but keep it in mind. From your list I'd take the Sportage 2.0ltr diesel with 4wd and pre-heater for the cold days, good value car with good spec. A tight second place to the Tiguan and only because I like the looks of the Sportage more. Hope that helps!
@ThePetrolhead94 Cheers! The I40 is coming to me this month as is the I30 international launch. I like the looks of the i40 but I remain unconvinced that I'll like the interior, from what I've seen the interior of the C'eed is nicer but it's goign to be tough to choose
Sportage for looks and standard equipment and Tiguan for badge honor and that German build quality. I love the looks of the Sportage so my heart would want that but my head would say buy a VW. Tough choice
I have a question; my mum is looking for a new car,. at this point we are looking for a car around 30 000 euros or 300 000 kr since we live in Norway. looking for a tall car where u sit high. at this point we are looking at a entry modell tiguan, a kia sportage, a Toyota urban cruiser or verso, or a subaru xv. Any cars we should take a look at that we are missing? BTW LOVE THE REVIEWS!
I hav to say all credit to hyundai and kia 5 years ago i wouldnt hav looked twice at a hyundai or kia but now i belive there better then many of the japanesse brands nd up der with the best
Right, you have tested a lot of cars and you seem to know what u are talking about so I have 25k to spend,im gonna go for a 2011 car..thinking mazda 6 sport..what do you recommend..I will never buy a mondeo by the way, brilliant though they may be..Cheers
i've already got a new car sorted so in theory i shouldn't need to keep watching uploads like these .. however it's the infectious dialogue that draws me back for more, even if i don't like the car being tested, i can't switch off!! :)

Thanks very much, the song is called At the River by Groove Armada. I had to sit through an ad for Berocca to bring you this information, damn ads :D

Another brilliant Irish car review
Nice video, but why not Xenon or led lights. It looks quite boring with those halogen light. On my car I have Bi-Xenon and Dynamic Light assist.
I didn't notice any problems with the manual gearbox, remember it's not a sports car :D
Nice commmentary, and useful info, but I would have liked to see more of the car itself, rather than the green fields of old Ireland!

what do you think about the 6 speed? I hear complaints about a long throw and clunky shifting.. I own a 6spd TDI Jetta and am considering this.
Bib grear reviews but can you show us the bits and bobs of the car..boot..seats...dash etc...
Excellent review.
@xevious2963 You are too kind, thanks very much

me neither, we've had the TDi's for ages now; is there some kind of conspiracy?
@9NiftyNinja6 Thank you!

@seauryakumar There's plenty more in editing right now! Thank you
tiguan I heard it comes from joining the words tiger and iguana in german. I heard it came from a contest by a german auto magazine and vollkswagen.

@Smokerspack thanks it helped alot! :D
I don't understand why VW is holding the TDI power plant away from the north american market.
Ya man!
Love the review:-) u get a better idea of the car when u talked a bit casual about it :-)
