    Great reaction! Imagine Luke telling Ahsoka how Anakin came back to the light in the end, and learning from Ahsoka how badass his mom was and all the heroics of his father. I hope we will get this in the Ahsoka show. What a treat this episode was!

    Ahsoka and Luke calmly referring to Anakin....yeah, I would have sat for over an hour to watch them talk about the redemption Anakin finally found, but it's so beautiful how this was written. Ahsoka so proud that she sees Anakin's legacy carrying on, even to the point of acknowledging Luke's title of Master. Luke, still hopeful yet unsure in his abilities, but trying to do the best he can. That whole 'Will I see you again'...made you really realize that's he's still unsure but knows he has to carry on. Perfection of storytelling.

    • @funnylilgalreacts
      @funnylilgalreacts  2 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      That “will I see you again?” had such a little boy tone to it too. He was almost hoping she’d be back so he wouldn’t have to go it alone. I love that.

    Boba has been doing it right. He's building his "tribe". Hes using the skills he learned from the raiders to build a ride or die team. if he was kill everyone, no one would join, since they would think they were next if they did anything wrong. I feel the same way about the Boba Fett portrayal in this show. He has a such a legend built up for him, but we never really got to see that much of him in the original trilogy showing him live up to that legend. I figured the way they introduced the Book of Boba Fett at the end of Mandalorian season 2, we'd see a lot more of Boba Fett being a badass.

    The same way you reacted to R2, I can say as a 37 year old man, I reacted the same way to everything in this episode. I think the show tipped us off as to what Grogu picks. We’ve seen in the first episodes of this series Boba as a child seeing Jango leaving and Boba putting his hand to the glass reaching out for his father. The foundling bond, Grogu is doing the same when he reaches out when he sees Mandos ship leaving. I think Grogu is going to sense Din in trouble and Luke will make his way back to Tatooine once more. Not to mention, you don’t put Luke’s childhood friends in that episode 2 for no reason. This last episode is going to rock.

    I really don't think you talk too much. You are generous enough to give us access to your thoughts. I see it as a sign of courage and strength. You are very emotional and its beautiful to see. No complaints here about the way you present your reaction videos. Keep it up!
    Some thoughts of my own: Witnessing first hand the fall of Jedis at the receiving end of blasters, it seems totally logical for Grogu to feel more secure with an awesome blaster wielder than with a lightsaber wielder he has not experienced the might of. I think the little one will lean towards his foster dad. That being said, I recognized Cade Bane's silhouette as soon as it appeared on screen. Though I think his flesh tone was a little to pale, I was in awe about his facial expressions and the lip sync. WOW, what a treat! Also, Cobb Vanth... What can I say, every time he is on screen, I love him more! What an awesome character and an awesome portrayal by Timothy Olyphant. I also agree that the CG of Luke was eons ahead of what we saw in the Mandalorian season one.
    I fear we will not get closure next week as there are soo many leads to close and the episodes are soo short. I am convinced it will end on a cliff hanger and that the actual war will be in a subsequent season.
    Still... Enjoying the ride so far. Still un happy about the Mods squad and the mods parlour. But that's more a nitpick than a major complaint.
    Will see you next week with pleasure!

    All that we've seen since Mando and now with Book of Boba Fett is just the foundation for a much bigger story. Crimson Dawn will be behind the Pykes and from there it will lead us to Grand Admiral Thrawn or even Darth Talon and in the end what happens now will take the whole Disney trilogy out of the canon. The Asokha series has already been announced and will certainly lead us to Ezra and the BD-1 droid from the last episode can in my opinion be interpreted as a reference to Cal Kestis and it wouldn't surprise me if he would also appear in live action sooner or later.
    However it will go, after today I am once again happy to be a Star Wars fan and to be able to experience all this and not to be alone! ;-)

    #ThisIsTheWayOfTheForce
    In the opening when Cobb Vanth was looking at those Pykes I was getting massive Clint Eastwood(Man With No Name Trilogy vibes) and Cobb took down those Pykes and he kicked over the spice because he is the Marshal and he doesn't want any of that drug shit in his town.
    Cad Bane as you know is a legendary bounty hunter who will work for anyone if the price is right and the Pykes payed it and he is now with them and given the history between Boba and Cad they have a score to settle and he is a crack shot as you said and also do not worry Cobb only got hit in the shoulder so he is alive. But Cad was only at Freetown to make a point and the deputy got in the way.
    Also Grogu learning the Ways of The Force is sight to behold and so was Ashoka knowing 2 generations of Skywalker is eve better and despite Ashoka not being a Jedi anymore she still cares for them in her own way and she has her own mission and that is to find Erza(the little shit that he is) Also I think that Ashoka and Luke meet awhile ago and they had long chat about Anakin off-screen and that is why they didn't talk much because they said all they need to say and also when Luke climbed the tree and looked at the landscape and when the Star Wars them came in it reminded me of when Luke went out to look at the Twin Suns of Tatooine yearning for adventure in New Hope and the choice that Luke is giving to Grogu is very reminiscent of the choice that Luke made in Empire Strikes Back and that choice cost him his hand, learning that Darth Vader was his father and almost dying himself when he fell from Cloud City.

    Interesting that they made sure to point out that Mando's N-1 starfighter was commissioned by the queen of Naboo and the first place he goes in it is to see that queen's son. Also, R2 powering down when he no longer wants to deal with Mando is classic R2.
    I also thought the dark figure was the badass Tusken Raider.
    I think Boba's "softness" in this series comes from the fact that, aside from those bikers, he hasn't dealt with anyone that truly deserved his ire yet.

    Hi. I just want to let you know that I found your channel because I was looking for reactions to Amazing Spider-man specifically at the time of Gwen Stacy's fall and death because I wanted to see how reactors felt during that sequence. Then TH-cam started recommending your channel to me whenever the next episode of Hawkeye came out and that was episodes 5 and 6. It was only during the Book of Boba Fett that I made sure to visit your channel and get your reaction and when you showed us that you knew who Cad Bane was and all throughout this episode you would break into little sobs with heartfelt tears, that gave me the reason to subscribe to you today. Look at you at barely 5 months since you've started, you already have more than 3k subscribers. I was wondering if you had another channel before because you looked so familiar to me like an old friend. Anyway thank you for your reaction.
    Now regarding this episode, it made me think that there is no way the fight with the Pykes will end next week. I have a feeling that is is Book 1 of 3 of the Book of Boba Fett where book 2 will end in a cliff hanger just like The Empire Strikes Back and book 3 will give us an ending with the same satisfaction that episode 6 did.

    First of all you don't talk too much...your a Star Wars fan through and through! Second Its a second reason I subbed to your channel cause you genuine hands down so don't let the people who say you talk too much they are just people who don't have the Star Wars soul in them. Third I agree with everything you said about the series so far, but I think for everything there is a bigger picture in this series than just fan service and we have to be patient what Dave Filoni and John Favore have in store for the future of story telling In the Star Wars Universe. It will make sense as we go along. Keep up the great reactions!

    I must not be reading in the right places ....
    I haven't seen many arguing that the BoBF is too far off story and as a result is bad for the show. I fall firmly in the group that is glad we are seeing fantastic SW content regardless the name of the show. I hope they continue connecting storylines across multiple shows building their web of awesomeness and culminating in either a yet-to-be announced master series or on the big screen. Can you imagine a Grand Admiral Thrawn shootout trilogy? Thanks for the reaction!

    Let's just review the character checklist.
    Cobb from season 2.
    R2D2, Grogu, Luke and Asoka almost immediately after. Followed by the introduction to live action of Cad Freaking Bane from the Clone Wars.
    They threw everything including the kitchen sink on this one but they did it very well and it fits perfectly with the ongoing story. Kudos to Filoni and Favreu.😎👍🏽

      The reason Star Wars is back on track to a large extent is John Favreu and Dave Filoni. After the train wreck that was the Disney Star Wars trilogy and the horrible mismanagement by Kathleen Kennedy and Bob Iger. Hopefully they end up retconning that trilogy as well.

    • @funnylilgalreacts
      @funnylilgalreacts  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@RoyCyberPunk I think the biggest downfall with the sequel trilogy was that it wasn’t seen as a whole just different parts. Or if it was it was just to get to point a to point B to point C and they didn’t care about how it happened just as long as it happened. It seems that John and Dave know where they want to go and how to get there and what stories need to be told in order to make that happen and make it entertaining. I still like the sequel trilogy, but this is REAL Star Wars we are watching now

    Hello... french guy here ( sorry for my english...and for the frogs... ) . I think that if you have to write a book about Boba Fett , you will have to talk about Tatooine , the Mandalorian ...Grogu of course ...that means " the force " , Luke and Yoda . So , that's why i don't think that Favreau and Filoni got the wrong title for this show....and in only 7 episodes , the force have to be with you.

    The Mandalorian started out slow at first, and then began picking up speed. They're most likely doing the same with Boba Fett; during this series he was still inured by the Sarlacc acid, and since he didn't have the muscle that Jabba had, he needed to pick his fights carefully. With Din Djarin appearing so much in this series, I'm guessing that Boba is going to help Din reclaim his Mandalorian heritage on Mandalore, and Boba himself might become ruler of the Mandalorians.
