a banger first episode huh? I remember being blown away by Trigun. yu-yu-hakusho made me interested enough to keep up with it for a while. although when I watched those there weren't nearly as many shows good or otherwise to choose from. case in point I thought sword art online was a pretty cool premise. fully let me down when watching it though. Oh and death note too. it sounded so cool and unique but it got so contrived. golden kamuy had me hooked from the start. thats a good one. also samurai champloo I liked that one from the first episode. I wouldn't argue with xeno over it but I like the characters and the dichotomy of styles. it didn't let me down. oh theres a show I've been watching on youtube that I've liked since the first episode. I look forward to it each week. it's called kanpai cast. not sure if you've heard of it. KANPAI

Masterpiece quality. 16:40 Nasuth hasn't watched Fruits Basket either?..... you guys need to watch Fruits Basket... I can't really think of shows where the first episode hooked me. if I had to, maybe Kaiju No.8... maybe My Next Life as a villainess. I enjoyed those. Oh and KONOSUBA. oh! You know what, a show that I liked the first episode of but then later dropped? Chillin' in Another World with Level 2 Super Cheat Skill. seemed like cool escapism/power fantasy, but turned into a pile of lame. good memes guys. I laughed. thanks for another great episode.

The Aristocrat’s Otherworldly Adventure, because it's good comedy. TONIKAWA: Over The Moon For You, because every single episode left me wanting more. Interviews with Monster Girls, because wholesome beats lewd, everytime. A Sign of Affection, because the animation team put in so much work, and it shows. Ancient Magus' Bride, because at this point I might be just picking my favorite anime that had good first episodes.
