Kanpai! 19:00 but if they didn't scream in DBZ how would you know they're going to attack (joking). 1:12:20 I'd say in that situation Nasuth proposed, it would be a fantasy if there's magic in the world they go to. that supporter question was asked by me, but I'll answer, I haven't been watching anything lately. haven't had time. those memes were awesome guys. great picks guys.
just a bit on Claymore: the anime doesn't really cover this stuff, but the Claymore's claymore swords are special, made from (yet another) indestructible material, their swords never break (and also, the manga goes into even more info on why these unbreakable claymore swords are so important/useful, but that gets into massive spoiler stuff) while for the normal yoma, maybe they could (possibly) be killed with different weapons, but they do have a bit harder skin/bodies (we see this with Clare using the two knives/daggers/kunai and also with the humans' normal claymore swords, that they really don't work very well at all against even the normal yoma), and then there's also their healing ability too, so really only the special unbreakable claymore swords are truly useful (for both offense and defense, due to being unbreakable, being extremely useful for defense), and only the Claymores can really use their unbreakable claymore swords to their fullest ability, however, there's worse yoma that the normal yoma, which absolutely require the Claymore's unbreakable claymore swords, to even be able to cut through these more powerful yoma's hard skin/bodies (as well as serve as defense for them against these more powerful yoma's attacks), that is, if the Claymore is even powerful enough to do so... ------ the closest "cost/con/negative" to the Claymores using their yoma powers, is seen with the Hollowfication in Bleach, though it's not exactly the same either, this is really unique in anime/manga, having the entire content being built around this unique power system of "cost/con/negative" usage... but it makes a lot more sense as you get more into its content, secrets, and etc lore, and world building, but yes, initially it can seem to be lame
off-topic... fictional indestructible materials: 1. mithril/mythril (LotR, and, many fantasy rpgs) 2. adamant/adamantine/admantium/adamantium (greek mythology, wolverine in x-men, and, in many fantasy rpgs) 3. vibranium (captain america's shield) 4. gundanium (gundam anime/manga) 5. "claymorium" (my own fan-name for it, lol) (Claymore manga/anime) any others that I'm missing?
my favorite trope is xenos co-hosts interupting him. fortunately for me that happens a lot in this episode. I am joking but that is pretty funny when it happens in anime. I think it happens in Konasuba a few times. maybe thats not really a trope though. maybe my actual favorite trope would be nice "bad" guys. a few characters from 'Love After World Domination' comes to mind. oh or the armored guy from 'Miss Kuroitsu From the Monster Development Department' my least favorite trope is dumb "smart characters". I'm not saying hate smart characters. I spicifically hate smart characters written be dumb people who think they're profound. pretty funny how you guys brought out the old "its fine if its done right". can't go wrong with the classics. (just teasing you) the memes were hilarous. the one about xeno had me laughing pretty good. also thayliens audio wasn't that bad after that front-loaded PSA I thought it was going to be much worse. good talk guys. excited for next episode. or I guess the one you just recorded when you read this.
