Amen Sproul. What an amazing and truth filled sermon. I pray that the lost and the blind may receive sight into the good and glorious truths that the Gospels hold. God bless you all.

I always believed in my heart that Jesus and the angels did not know, because they cannot lie. God knew we would ask and at least Jesus told the whole Truth. If this should have been asked to an angel of God,they also will speak the truth by NOT knowing.

Jesus was completely human and still is. You cannot have two natures communicating to each other. Jesus communicated directly with the Father as a human being. But he is still divine.

He’s not just divine, He is God.

I believe distinguishing Christ’s human nature from His divine nature is fully explained in scripture. John 3:34 "For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God; for He gives the Spirit without measure. Hebrews 2:9 But we do see Him who was made for a little while lower than the angels, namely, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, so that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone.
Mark 13:32 But of that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone. John 8:28 So Jesus said, "When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and I do nothing on My own initiative, but I speak these things as the Father taught Me.
Jesus was not lying. Jesus is our sinless Lord and Savior. Trust in Jesus Christ and read scripture.

I believe in the entirety of a truth that God the Father and God the Son can divinely choose to forget any matter. This grew from how God has conveyed to us that He forgets our sins, He chose to do that. Certainly there are other divine and human matters He treats the same way. Even in any degree, ranging from Eternal Forgetfulness all the way down to a ‘twinkling of an eye’ Forgetfulness. So Certainly He can also choose to recall these things, if He chooses to divinely express His very-ness through a Sovereign decree to whichever nature or both natures as He feels the necessity to. Can anyone see this as a possibility?

He thought he was dying in the garden and did not want that to happen there. In Hebrews he was heard for his godly prayers and an angel came and strengthened him.

Jesus was not praying for His crucifixion to be cancelled by The Father, He was praying to be saved from the death, and His prayer was granted by The Father as Hebrew 5:7 explains.

Jesus saw his death as the baptusm he had to undergo and was in pain until he could be crucified.
The trial of jesus in the garden is that while we were still enemies of christ he laid down his life for us.
He knew how many would reject him, mock him, be lukewarm in faith.
Jesus had to embrace the thought forgive us before he could be crucified.

“how could he not know” it’s not that he couldn’t it’s that he didn’t. it was on purpose
“how could God limit himself” how could God die? he can do what he wants
also he doesn’t have to be two people to be God and man. “God” isn’t a species. i didn’t cease to be american when i became a high school graduate. people can be multiple things. and once again, he can do what he wants

" Made to stumble"???? Mister, you need to get a life. Made ti stumble doesn't even fit into the gospel narrative, if you have the capacity to read it.
FORSAKE makes a whike lot more emtional sense than "made to stumble."
    Oh well .........
