I am a Punjabi...but I love folk music from all over India...Bengali folk is really awesome...this Bengali singer has a great voice.
That's the reason to Bengol know the culture city ,of u want to lesten best folk song moner Manus Coke studio.
Bro, both of them are Bengalis. And yes, they are really awesome.
Shaan sang well but the other one has better voice ..
Bhangra is full of rhythm of life which Nakul Kumar Biswas has partially used the Bhangra kind of rhythm in Bengali song to bring life into the Bengali song.
👌👌
The original 'Bhatiali' tune of the song (which is sung in northern part of Bangladesh and West Bengal) fitted well in Saurav Moni's voice and Shaan made it euphonious for listeners of other languages. It's a great effort of them to popularise a folk Bangla song to more listeners. Heartfelt thanks and gratitude from Bangladesh!!

This Bengali dude singing in the beginning just hits the right notes....touching your soul like a gifted singer !
Report claimed that i am the one and only Mizo in my homeland Mizoram who love and listen folk songs of different regional language in India.
Much love and respect from Aizawl. Mizoram
Music is in blood of Indians and Bengalis .... love ❤️ u both
A music lover from Pakistan 🇵🇰
Love you too brother.
Bro bangali bolo ya indian, indians and bengali alag alag nhi hota hai aur pakistan bhi alag nhi hai india se 🤝🏻
Thank you so so much bhai...love from India / Kolkata ( Calcutta )
Love you brother !!
When I was kid these songs meant to be boring for me. I enjoyed commercial pop music back then. But gradually as I grew up these kinda songs actually have a special place in my heart. They are relatable to life in so many aspects.
Is there anyone else who feels the same?
Same feeling here though 😕!
The Unbounded Spirit it’s nice to grow up and come back round isn’t it?
Zabardast cheers from Toronto.....
Western music has its place in the world of music.
When I listen most of the western music, I feel like moving my hands and feet and dance a Little.
But when I listen to Indian music, I become little quiet from outside, but my heart and mind start dance with its beautiful melodies and also its lyrics.
Not only that, it creates such a vivid tune within me that I just keep on singing and humming for a long time.
These songs give ✌
It's great honor to play guitar 🎸 for these great singers i am honored
Shaan Dada you are one of the greatest singers of the generation after the legendary greats of the golden era... Where are you Dada.. . Current singers are excellent. But you are great. 🙂👏👌👏👌🎵🎶
Bengali's have special voice from kisor da to today's Arijit .and bengali folk is awesome ....love this song ❤️ ...and proud to be a Bangali😉

A surprise mixture of Hindi and Bengali language sung by the both Bengale singer because it is INDIA.We will remember the same even long time. With love from Northeast
Sad how shaan doesn't sing anymore, a powerhouse of talent, real voice and real songs are lost these day. We need more of them.
Bro he is eager to sing...but do not get chances for unknown reasons....same as Sonu and KK. The three very best of mine.
@@srcob Bhai, did you hear about KK?
Due to Bollywood Mafia controlling everything.
I’m swiss , love india beautiful Voice ❤️
hi
That's incrediblely melodious voice of shaan
I am also in Switzerland
Yeah catherine really great indian song
Hats off to the flute player
Shaan is one my most favourite singers but oh man!.... just only that "Sara raatro, nouka baiya" kills me. His voice, it blends with my soul... !
Pratyay Roy
Sara raatro part is sung by the other singer not shaan.
Paras nath ji (flute), you are silent killer.
That flute interlude is intoxicating!!
bangladesh or india....let's just put this aside for a moment and acknowledge the fact that magic of music transcends these man-made boundaries...!!!! I am an indian who doesn't understand bangla but I really loved the bengali mukhda. Shaan da's voice is soo soulful. loved it.
If you love Bengali folk then you try Lalon Geeti, Hason Raza and many more from East Bengal (Bangladesh).
You can follow Coke Studio Bangla. They have done some amazing work.
What a gripping opening! Sachin da would be smiling. Shaan makes it no lesser.
*_I Am a Marathi Guy But I Equally Like Bengali Language_* *_Bengali Language is a Very Sweet Language_*
Bro there are lots of similarities in Marathi and Bengali language.
Bangali gf hai esliye
Good Choice.
Bhav I'm a bangali boy but .. mala Marathi khub Shan vattoy
And so is Marathi my brother, we have so many beautiful languages and people in our country. Our strength is in our diversity. If only the Hindi lobby understood it and refrained from their anti national activities in trying to break our motherland.
The flute guy is just awesome !
Shaan is legend
saurav moni ji aur shaan sir ne is gaane me char chand lga diye ♥️♥️♥️
Two beautiful performers, one true raw .. earth & second the same but wrapped in velvet ... Wah .... Kya Baat ! Jai Ho !! And the musicians.. Masters !!
The man with the flute...just killed it.. absolutely heart touching.

I request MTV to bring back coke studio india❣️
Me too

They won't
They will host only shitty shows like choadies, fuck school, chutvillla all 😠😠🤬🤬
Brother mtv has new show named MTV Unplugged
From wherever you are from India / Pakistan, folk songs should always be given utmost importance. It is actual history and for so many years shaped up the culture and people of that place 😍
Nice Songs. It is not a matter where the song is from Bangladesh or West Bengal. It's Bengali song. And no doubt the accent in the song is from Bangladesh. We should appreciate Coke Studio for bringing the different culture songs in one stage.
there is no uniform accent across Bengal. Anyway we love the accent used in East Bengal as well.
Mujibur Rahman ETA Bangladeshi accent r thke beshi sadhu vasha e gawa....gram or dike tkhn sob jaygay ei accent chilo.....see purbo bongo or poschim bongo tin te tei ek

How lovely it looks when artists of defferent flavour come together and give song new soul....great
saurav moni just took the song to a different level...
Listening for last 50 yrs. Nothing is more soothing than বাংলা ভাটিয়ালী, পল্লী, লোক গীতি.......

The variations and versatility of shaan has taken this one to another level.. Loved this beautiful recreation of a classic song and all praises and accolades to shaan for recreating magic..
Music has no barriers.... Let's not mix it with states n countries..... Just chill n enjoy
The voice of shaan is like honey.
Beautifully rendered by great musicians and amazing job by Shaan....reading some of the comments below...it is a shame people become so personal and enraged by each other's comments...we all come from the same place originally and must respect each other despite our differences....as human beings....music is about universal love...that is the greatest message these talented people gift us with when they sing with their hearts and souls so profoundly...so that we can share in spirit some common ground that goes beyond history, politics, race and religion....music is the core of love for mankind....
Yes, day by day people are becoming narrow and self minded.
wonderful composition...shaan u hv nailed it..
This one has an eerily similar feel to "bheegi bheegi raaton mein, aisi barsaaton mein". The duo certainly have class.
Being a Bengali and from Bengal I am really proud of myself .....and such beautiful mesmerizing voice of both
It's a dreams to sing in coke studio 🌹
Great singing Shaan with full orchestra....❤
Feeling blessed that i belong to Rangpur (Northern Bangladesh) from where the Bhatiali originated...... :)

Shaan is a gem of a singer! Excellent acoustic and ambience!
I'd request all of you to listen to a performance by 12 yr old Pranjal Biswas on the same song. It was a short 3 min performance in a talent show, but still, i may have replayed it atleast 1000 times..I wish someone would give that boy a stage like Coke Studio..He is a pure 💎💎
