The original 'Bhatiali' tune of the song (which is sung in northern part of Bangladesh and West Bengal) fitted well in Saurav Moni's voice and Shaan made it euphonious for listeners of other languages. When I was kid these songs meant to be boring for me. I enjoyed commercial pop music back then. But gradually as I grew up these kinda songs actually have a special place in my heart. They are relatable to life in so many aspects. Is there anyone else who feels the same?
Western music has its place in the world of music. When I listen most of the western music, I feel like moving my hands and feet and dance a Little. But when I listen to Indian music, I become little quiet from outside, but my heart and mind start dance with its beautiful melodies and also its lyrics. Not only that, it creates such a vivid tune within me that I just keep on singing and humming for a long time.

I'd request all of you to listen to a performance by 12 yr old Pranjal Biswas on the same song. It was a short 3 min performance in a talent show, but still, i may have replayed it atleast 1000 times..I wish someone would give that boy a stage like Coke Studio..He is a pure 💎💎

there is no uniform accent across Bengal. Anyway we love the accent used in East Bengal as well.
