To answer your question about there being any good streamers on Kick: No. There are not. Kick is where all the WORST people go to livestream, it’s also super right wing. Like the storming of the capitol on Jan 6 was being streamed there
This statue is literally a monument to the sexual trafficking victims of Japanese imperialism and he’s talking about it as just “hurting their pride” The audacity!! 😡😡😡
Also his bs about "american humour is different!" . .. like the legit riots over disrespecting the statues of racist dead white men a few years ago?? K.
he didn't just assault one statue but two. these statues are heavily cared for by the south korean people AND the history behind it makes the assault more brutal, personal. the history of "comfort women" is the most digusting, unsettling and horrendous thing i have ever learned about. the japanese government still refuses, to this day, to acknowledge their heinous crimes. the statues are deemed offensive. he KNEW the meaning behind the statue and still chose to assault it. south korea isn't the only places he's been where he harasses the people who are just simply trying to live. the bounty might be "too much" but this was, in my opinion, almost deserved. i don't like the idea of inflicting violence on one another over petty disagreements... but the history that is engraved in those statues was him crossing a HUGE line.
he's been assaulted in these different countries too. he KNOWS that if he pushes he'll get a heavy backhand for his behavior. he keeps doing it because the internet is his addiction and his supplier. he needs to seek some form of help for this behavior, but we all know these types of people have a very small chance of ever truly changing.
@@mariazeniou8926 He was playing Diddy music while he was assaulting one of the statues, the one who was designed as a little girl to symbolize how young many of the comfort women were. The man is SICK
What he did in regards to these statues is so rage inducing that let me tell you, I'm glad I'll probably (99,99% sure) never see him in real life, because he's an egregious waste of air, and I don't want to be charged with assault. Everything he did was so callous, so ignorant, so lacking of empathy, so blatantly dismissive of basic human decency that I really think he's, as outdated as the term may be, a sociopath. I'd like to know he's not roaming free among society, because he can only further damage it.
I have to ask, at what point do we cross the line where the bounty is no longer too much? Where in fact it's time to go further? This is some HEINOUS shit he's done, not just to the statues but the shit he's pulled in every country he's been kicked out of. He says and does anything he can think of to speedrun being the most depraved individual? How long before he goes to somewhere like Germany and starts doing shit there? Would THAT be too far? He can't keep getting away with his crap, and honestly? If the governments he's dealing with just kick him out of the country and toss the ball into someone else's land to deal with, well perhaps it's far past the time for citizens to handle him because NOTHING is being done to truly stop him. He just keeps going and escalating.
I know assaulting someone is morally wrong. But if you're gonna go out of your way to be a menace to society by deliberately victimizing women and blue-collar workers, how am I supposed to care when people retaliate?
This goes A LOT deeper than just the Korea incidents. This man came to Korea after he was banned from Japan for pulling dangerous stunts. In both countries, he was also harassing women and specifically minors. And in Korea, police weren’t doing anything at first. This is why the bounty happened, because citizens were made to feel like they would have to take matters into their own hands. Definitely check out Rotten Mango’s video on this, so you can have a better understanding of things specifically to Korea.
Yes, Rotten Mangos in-depth doc on this ass clown shows how racist, abilist, disrespectful, misogynistic a sociopath Johnny is! What he did all over Asia is atrocious, and I don't think any punishment he got and is still facing is enough. This "man" has no soul
Rotten Mango covers this too, she explains the cultural and historical importance of the statues. What he's doing is BEYOND just surface level disgusting.
Highly recommend her video for everyone interested in some more in depth information on this for sure! She explains a lot of history and cultural context that is very interesting für anyone wanting to understand things better!
Found it hypocritical considering that the donations of the video were to the people who are doing the same thing that the Japanese did to Korean women. Look up 🐙7️⃣.
My Dad was born in 1930 while I was born in 1985. So I'm a millennial raised by a member of the Greatest Generation. He went to Korea and served in combat for a year. It should be noted that he did this years younger than that clown. 1, he fought for Korea, helping to bring about South Korea. In many ways the South Koreans took Democracy and ran with it, instituting far more rights to its citizens than we have. 2, the South Koreans revere America and most especially Korean War veterans. They gave every veteran an Ambassador for Peace medal saying, "you came to a country you never knew to save a people you didn't know. For that your generations will be renowned with unending respect, honor and gratitude." When my Mom went on a business trip to South Korea, the CEO found out her husband was a veteran of the war. He upgraded her hotel room and gave her a private chauffeur who gave her a private tour of all the battle sites and War memorials. He even showed her a monument to the American Navy. The South Koreans are good and decent people who have withstood terrible circumstances. They did not deserve this and that boy spits in the face of everyone who worked hard to give South Korea it's democracy.
Great examples. My father and uncle served in Korea. They never returned, but receive similar reverence from Korean-Americans and Korean visitors. The depth of gratitude cannot be over emphasized.
My grandfather was a Korean war veteran. He won several purple hearts and a metal of honor. He was supposed to meet the president but said no cause he wanted to go home. He was the only member of his platoon to make it out. I miss him. He was not happy with the things he had to do in the war. He died thinking ppl hated him for his service there.
@blingauntie thank you. He was a good man! I just wished more ppl at the time understood that when he came back. He never sugar coated anything for me when he talked about his military service, especially when I asked him to be my hero for a school project. I made him a book about his life for that project and won an award from school. He was proud but I was proud of him. My parents buried him with the book and my dad's veterans friends gave him a military funeral even though he didn't think he deserved one.
he assaulted more than one " comfort woman" statues that people there take care of - they give them hats and stuff when it's cold they're to memorialize THOUSANDS UPON THOUSANDS of women and girls who were raped hundreds of times a DAY for YEARS it's so, so much worse and i think that should have been talked about more - it really does make the situation a lot worse once you understand the context and he used BABY OIL and played diddy music while doing it! he knew exactly what he was doing
And who watches and listens to his disgusting antics? Who is his viewer base? I don’t think offending people/communities is funny at all. It’s cringe at best. Heartbreaking/infuriating at worst. I understand he’s protected somewhat by the first here in the US, not so in other countries… I’m too annoyed and disgusted to formulate coherent thoughts right now. Thank you for the extra intel. 💙
I’m wondering to what end? How can we allow him to travel from country to country, deeply offending these communities, breaking laws, then coming home to receive likes and a paycheck from his disgusting behavior? So crazy. He’s bounty-worthy, imo. 😬
@JayLethal I was born in Seattle. I am most definitely Black American. My in laws were born in Somalia. I'm grown so I have no interest in Johnny Somali. He is an embarrassment. However, my nephew watches him. At least he used to. He thinks he's funny. Thank you for the geography lesson, much appreciated 👏🏽
The bounty situation is messy - but it generally the fallout of that previously in Japan he got a slap on the wrist for this kind of nonsense, and then immediately came out bragging that he gamed their justice system by lying to to court etc - basically saying he made heaps of money livestreaming and then lying about it. So the vigilantees involved are basically determined to make it impossible for him to earn money via livestreaming, there's also apparently a group who are actively helping businesses and people file complaints. Apparently the process of filing a police report in South Korea is quite intensive, and essentially requires the victim to file a lot of information like the identity of the criminal, the evidence, etc that in a lot of other countries the police do. So it's basically a joint effort to 1. deny him income and safety while he streams and 2. assist the victims in getting justice. And like... it seems to be working. So yeah, ethically, not great... but can't argue with the results.
Yeah, Legal Mindset has been covering this, collecting more evidence to pass on to authorities, and helping people who have witnessed his actions to also contact authorities. This includes how non-Koreans can contact embassies about it.
@@KingOfGaymesI was held up at gunpoint by three guys in Los Angeles and when I reported it to the police, they said they couldn't do anything unless I knew who they were. Even though I provided them with lots of info including the apartment building one of them lived in. So it's not that uncommon.
It’s maddening how the people in power seem to never be able to take a balanced approach to law enforcement. I didn’t know there were so many obstructions for victims in S. Korea - thanks for sharing that.
Madison of Cruel World, Happy Mind also does great, thoughtful, well-researched deep dives, and she recently put out a long Diddy dive. I'm sure it's very thorough, but I can't yet watch that very specific subject matter, so I'm not in love with the coverage from my faves, but I understand as many people are asking for coverage.
Anyone who wants detailed and accurate coverage of the Somali situation by someone in Asia who has been back and forth to Korea helping the prosecutors with evidence against Johnny, Legal Mindset on TH-cam has incredible coverage of it. He has interviewed a former mod for Ramsey, and just yesterday interviewed the Korean Navy Seal who beat the shit out of Johnny. That interview is not posted yet as it is being translated so that it will be accessible in both English and Korean.
I first found out about this story from Atozy and he did an interview with Legal Mindset about the charges. (He's also the one who pointed me to Legal Mindset for more on this.)
People, especially Korean people, should absolutely be handling the situation like they are. At least they don't allow this kind of baffoonery in their country. They put a stop to it and don't allow ignorant people to disrespect their culture. He should be jailed in a foreign country for an extended period of time. I promise he'd never act like an idiot ever again.
You asked if we wanted to see a video on Diddy, and I just came here to say that I don’t care what the content is, if you have a video to put out, bring it please!!! You make the best videos and even if it’s on a subject that I think I know about, you ALWAYS add SO much more! Thank you for keeping me informed and entertained 🥰😘🥳
A disgusting fact about this video’s case: the dude poured baby oil while playing a P Diddy song and assaulted the statue of an underage girl commemorating the hundreds of SA victims during WW2. He knew EXACTLY what he was doing to cause an outrage, and attract international attention given the current events!
@ I’m not one for violence, but I’m also not sad that he got put in his place either! This guy is a disgrace to the human race and also part of the reason people hate Americans!
Harassment of a soldier on duty, and a police officer on duty, desecration of at least three monuments in South Korea, desecrating a Jewish temple, breaking and entering into a construction site, disrupting a business, harassing subway riders… and the list goes on
@@Grim_Sister Threatening to repeat what the US did to Japan in WW2, just randomly constantly shouting that out while in Japan... bottom of the barrel shit this man keeps doing.
This tard has the full attention of Andrew Esquire aka Legal Mindset who has lived in Asia for a couple of years now. He has gotten a lot of information to put out to everyone to have JS working in the cabbage fields hopefully throughout his possible jail time
“In America we have a different kind of comedy” as an American I don’t find any of this funny or cool. Joking about any of this, especially minors, should put you on a list.
this is the type of stuff that's funny to those annoying teenage boys and literally NO ONE ELSE. A great majority of adults find him embarrassing and if they're laughing, they're laughing AT him.
Hey please don't delete my comment this time. I'm just taking part in the discussion based on factual things that happened. He didn't just offend people, he dessicated a tragic, important historical statue, committed multiple cases of being a public nuisance, harassed locals and was being a ginormous racist. I'm not surprised people went as far as thinking a bounty was necessary. He didn't stop when he made apology videos, MULTIPLE, where he never sincerely meant the apology. And he didn't stop when police were called. There is no helping this guy.
didn't he said that he only respect chinese people or something like this? and after the apology for his behavior in japan he said it was a lie? This person is the worst. He is disrespecting people directly and meaningful memorials of people. I can't blame anyone who wants to punch him tbh
Just commenting to help you bump up in the comment section. This education and nuance is incredibly important and it's disappointing that this (easily found) information wasn't included. ❤️🩹
The cultural and historical significance of those statues and the way he disrespected them is once of the most disgusting things I’ve ever seen. The statues are a reminder of “comfort women” during WWII , young women and young girls were forced into sexual slavery in which there were very few survivors. They were literally often r-worded to death and tortured. He knew exactly what these statues represented, he knew how these statues caused tensions between South Korea and Japan. He was FULLY aware of the cultural significance which makes it all the more heinous and disgusting. The consequences he’s faced so far are honestly light and very mild in my opinion
This guy has been arrested and kicked out of SEVERAL countries. There was a stint in Japan where nobody was sure if he wasn't gonna be in jail there for a long time. And he keeps doing this. Clearly, the law starting to play hard ball isn't getting through to him. He's LUCKY the worst that people have done is bounty him and beat his ass repeatedly. I'm sure there's plenty who would do worse to him and haven't yet. Hell, last I heard the Yakuza themselves have threatened him for the shit he's pulled. A bounty just to kick his ass in comparison to what THEY would do to him is miles of difference.
After watching authorities in Japan, Israel and everywhere else he went just let him go unscathed; and him filming himself mocking how naive the authorities are for believing him while fleeing; I have to say I was gleeful to hear about the bounty and the netizens finally taking the issue into their capable hands.
Getting arrested in every country he visits must be on his bucket list or something? And the most egregious thing that boils my blood is, he has the means and money to travel around those countries. What a waste...
Pretty sure he's not making much, if any, money anymore, and from what I've heard, he's not in jail because instead of housing him in jail and leeching those resources, he has to pay for his own food/lodging/etc. And SK allows for hard labor if someone can't pay fines.
A little surprised you glossed over the "statues". They are a reminder of when Japan occupied Korea and forced women to... That's why they were so outraged.
Far too fucking often comfort women are overlooked when discussing the war or even something directly about them. They were women, stolen from their homes often literal children forcefully raped by multiple men a day in the Japanese imperial army and often killed or died of injuries from being raped. Those who did survive have been denied by Japan the respect of an apology. Glossing over it 100% minimizes the horrors inflicted on these women and the actions of Japan in WW2
It is worth noting that there are a lot of things about this topic that are more complex than would be possible to fairly discuss in a video like this. Also, YT makes talking about topics involving SA and whatnot difficult because so much is censored or de-monitised.
Agree, one of the worst part of history. Learning about it made me fall back into a very dark mental space for weeks. One of the worst war crimes committed and yet it is so frequently forgotten. Their outrage is completely valid in my opinion
He got pressured by another TH-camr who was being very sincere to make that apology video. Johnny Somali was lying and grifting again which hurt the TH-camr just trying to help. After being released from jail he immediately started posting videos asking North Korea to bomb South Korea which will likely result in terrorism charges as well as new laws being made. He said at one point he was striving for death and it honestly seems so at this point.
He was definitely not sincere in his apology. He's actually done very similar antics before in Japan and was arrested for several months there before he moved onto South Korea. And then when he was released, he bragged about lying to the courts in Japan.
So he’s in South Korea, this video and in South Korea,, you can eat in 7/11 which is where he is but you can’t drink alcohol inside the 7/11 so he can buy it in the 7/11. You are also meant to leave areas as clean as you found them if not cleaner.
Maybe she will do a deep dive sometime. From reading these comments and watching a couple videos where he was jumped... It seems like there is definitely some context missing. I understand why a bounty was put on him after doing my own research.
exactly! ticks me off that they didnt fully delve into the fact that him disrespecting the statue is actually just horrendous and cruel due to the meaning behind it.
@@Queerlien yeah her audience is mostly American and the school system does not teach about comfort women (likely due to Japan now being a close American ally we don't want to have citizens criticizing them or learning our new allies committed horrendous war crimes multiple times in history) but with mass sexual slavery and sexual violence on that scale endorsed by another's country as a tool of war or really needs spoken of truly grasp the horror of what those women endured and the scar it left on Korea (and let's not forget China as well with Nanking)
This dropped right as I started watching another Swoop doc XD I'll come back to this later, can't wait to hear you talk about this absolute dumpster fire of a 'streamer' Edit: I've watched this and there's a loooot not covered. There's a lot of charges including making deep fakes, assaults, obstructing business etc. People are filing charges against him and the reason Korea has charged but not jailed him is so they don't have to pay to house him, HE has to pay for his own upkeep, on top of paying for a lawyer, so he's financially being fucked over. He can't flee Korea either as they confiscated his passport, they're also using his livestreams from when he was in Japan and Israel. Americans don't want him to return either, he's been threatened by some Americans to stay away XD Atozy has been covering this crap stain since his antics in Japan
A bounty in Korea isn't going to get you the same results as putting a bounty on someone in the US. Just wanted to put that out there. Anyways, he would have never come forward if not for what happened to him so..... It's like starting a fight then getting surprised when the person (country) hits back.
@@tinykitsune0387 I think what they meant is in the US the concept of a bounty has much more serious/dangerous implications than someone just fighting you. Of course I’m not saying violence of any capacity is an appropriate reaction to rude behavior, but it’s sort of a cultural difference between a country where guns are common and a country where martial arts is a long respected practice.
I’ve seen so much stuff on this ridiculous character! Can’t wait to see your take. You have been slaying girl! Been loving all the docs, but take care of yourself. The lack of respect this guy has for people is genuinely beyond my understanding.
15:12 For more context, on his FIRST stream with one of the statues, he was talking to his friend/chat, saying "You guys don't even know what this statue means!" So he did his research and specifically sought out these statues to intentionally disrespect them for content. At least the government has that video to prove his intent at his eventual trial.
I first heard of what he did from the Stephanie Soo episode she made of what he did. There is another TH-camr called Legal Mindset who is on a mission to bring him down and give information to the South Korea government about all the shit he's doing and all his videos counting all the times he broke Korean law (he's collecting all the videos even the ones he deleted from his channels). He's a lawyer, he originally did a legal news video that mentioned JS and JS went after him, he tried to dox him, he tried to go after his family, his friends and his law partners. The lawyer even said on his last TH-cam video, I was just reporting the legal news, you were going to be a small blimp in my channel, but you went after me and those I love, so now I'm going after you and I'm not going to stop until you pay. And what do you know, JS is terrified of him, the Legal Mindset lawyer is even going to be at his trial to watch and report it all. Last news I heard, his first trial is in December, and even the Korean Mafia has put a hit on him now.
his ENTIRE"fanbase" sends those sounds out to try to get him hurt. They legit love watching him get hurt and in trouble. he is actually very short, so huge amount of short man syndrome. my husband is korean. he says Johnny doesn't realize he;s out walking instead of in jail because the cops are letting him dig his grave bigger and deeper whilel they build their case. It's common practice and he's falling for it 1000 feet deep
An ex pat going by Legal Mindset is a lawyer in Asia (lives in a few different places, including S. Korea) and while he is much more conservative than I am, we can all agree that Johnny S.’s behavior is despicable. For the legal breakdown, he is blunt and honest.
I’m so happy you are covering this situation, this guy is the epitome of “you can’t escape the karma of your actions”. Love all of your docs and mini docs Swoop!💜💜💜
A bounty to simply locate him and get his information or even himself to authorities feels fair considering the history of “comfort women” he rubbed himself against
I don't see anyone else mentioning it, but Johnny Salami covered himself in baby oil and played Diddy songs while he was twerking on the statue. Absolutely viiiiile! 🤬
I hear what your saying swoop I can’t say I condone him being assaulted but his actions go so beyond south koreas pride being hurt. I love your docs and the suspool but I feel that this is definitely a story that we really needs a deep dive not a dip. I highly suggest watching rotten mangos video on Johnny and researching the term “comfort women”
I don't feel apologetic to what the Koreans did to that man. A lot of our elders are among the comfort women and it's nothing that is just from the past for us. This is just madly infuriating for us.
Woman, Christmas came early!! You’ve been on a posting streak and my neurodivergent brain has been drinking up your content while I FINALLY get some projects done. You and your team are awesome. THANK YOU for bringing the commentary, info, perspective, humor, and encouragement in your unhinged stories! ❤❤❤ Love from rainy Oregon: XOXO
FYI, these statues commemorate hundreds of thousands of girls, a lot of them underage (sometimes 14 and even younger) who were kidnapped by the Japanese imperial army and brought to "comfort stations", where they were assaulted on a daily basis, sometimes between 40 to 60 times per day and it went on FOR YEARS. Only a fraction of them survived the war and some of them are still alive. These women are known under the euphemistic name "comfort women" but they are survivors of unimaginable horrors and had to deal with physical and psychological trauma all their life, provided they were not killed at the end of the war. This dude knew EXACTLY what he was doing and what the statues were about. He went out of his way to find these statues and he went to more than one. He wanted to do a tour of them.
After a long day of work, people were tired on that subway train and just wanted to be left alone to nap. That particular video showed they were annoyed, but also confused about what he's doing. So they tried ignoring him, thinking he'd eventually wander off. Too bad it took a number of other encounters, before they learned what his game actually was.
It makes me so angry to see people with the time and money to travel around the world, see these places with cultures going back thousands of years, and not care about or appreciate any of it. It's such a waste.
The apologies were never genuine whatsoever, he has done this before in Japan to the point he got scared out of there and rightly banned but sadly not for a long time. He has done these things before in different countries, mainly Asian countries so far I know, he apologized and continued his antics to the point the natives had enough of him. He even did his nuisance antics in Israel and then got in serious trouble for numerous things over there; especially sexually harassing a female officer while she's on duty.
My purple Suspool hoodie arrived two days ago. I just LOVE everything about it. I also bought a Petty University sweatshirt that I have on right now. The fabric is amazing, not your standard sweatshirtfabric. I'm definitely getting more.
BTW...I wore my hoodie to the hair salon the other day and had so many compliments. Not the typical TH-camr Merch, high quality, really my favorite. As soon as I shower, it's been washed (came out of wash and dry beautifully) it goes back on. I would love the hoodie in another color, but for now, purple is my favorite and this is my favorite hoodie EVER. And my Petty University sweat shirt is worn almost every day too. Seriously, best Merch I have ever purchased. Guess matching sweat pants are in order. Happy New Year!
You look beyond gorgeous - that hair tone with your “everything” is magic! Your editor has me cracking up with those clips during your intro. Go team! This is gonna be a fascinating episode…
I love you Swoop! We all love you! Why are you so self conscious? ‘I don’t know why I said it that way?’ You said it that way because you are being your true, authentic, talented, and brilliant self. Trust me when I say: we’re all for it! We’re here for you! Don’t apologize for being you! You’re why we’re here!
Yessss I am always ready for a Swoop video. It reminds me of my best friend Evan since he used to do the swoop-swoop move in Madden 95 on the SNES. He would always say it similarly to when you say "swwooooop!" and he'd approve of this channel if he was still alive. 💚 🙏
Hey Swoop if you wanna just sit back and see the coverage of this issue with the cultural impact side if things and such whithout needing to nose dive into the sus pool further yourself check out Rotten Mango she does a great job explaining things from the countries affected point of culture view. Great video great tea choices to sip on while chillin in the sus pool.
And if you want updated information, Andrew over at Legal Mindset is covering updated information, is in Korea at the moment and collecting evidence for the court.
Yes a diddy doc please. I don’t understand it very well. You explain things really well and get all of the facts so it’s not confusing!! Thank you swoop x
He's not bronzing himself, he poured baby oil on himself to rub on the statue of a young 🍇 survivor. ☹️ Which is the connection to the next thing I wanna say: please make the Diddy doc!
Johnny Somali's apology essentially breaks down to: "I'm sorry I f-ed around and found out there are actually real world consequences for my horrendously stupid actions."
Sometimes when I hear about these cases I have to wonder, was it the fame that took away the empathy and the desire for attention sucked out the common sense and compassion, or was it never there to begin with.
The irony though, is that he barely makes any money streaming. On a good day, he makes about $1K a stream for all the bad stuff he does on stream, while just streaming itself gets him $700. This was revealed by one of his former mods in an interview on Legal Mindset. And because he's not streaming at the moment, he is flat out broke in Korea awaiting trial.
I'm American and I worry for the bad name certain tourist put on us. I hope I can travel to places like Japan without idiots like this already making the locals resentful and warry over me visiting there

he's been assaulted in these different countries too. he KNOWS that if he pushes he'll get a heavy backhand for his behavior. he keeps doing it because the internet is his addiction and his supplier. he needs to seek some form of help for this behavior, but we all know these types of people have a very small chance of ever truly changing.
Not only that, but he purposely used baby oil to assault the statue while playing a song by P Diddy!!!
@@mariazeniou8926
He was playing Diddy music while he was assaulting one of the statues, the one who was designed as a little girl to symbolize how young many of the comfort women were.
I’m not saying I agree with the bounty, but for legal reasons, I may or may not agree with the bounty.
I know assaulting someone is morally wrong. But if you're gonna go out of your way to be a menace to society by deliberately victimizing women and blue-collar workers, how am I supposed to care when people retaliate?
Legaly it's questionable, personally I'm all in
Look, I don't like violence. But. If physical assault is what it takes to get the authorities involved, I kind of understand.
We can neither confirm nor deny lol
Mhmmm....
Adding on Legal Mindset here.

Love Stephanie's channels been watching all her channels since the very beginning and she does amazing work as well.
Her video made me cry, she’s so talented! Swoop and her are some of the best TH-camrs and ppl on this planet.

For that your generations will be renowned with unending respect, honor and gratitude."
When my Mom went on a business trip to South Korea, the CEO found out her husband was a veteran of the war.
@blingauntie which makes what this jerk did even worse 😑
I am sorry for you and your families losses.
@@soulstealer1667 I'm terribly sorry for your loss and for the suffering your grandfather endured. 👴

I taught 8th grade boys who were EXACTLY like this and it's horrific
he assaulted more than one " comfort woman" statues that people there take care of - they give them hats and stuff when it's cold
they're to memorialize THOUSANDS UPON THOUSANDS of women and girls who were raped hundreds of times a DAY for YEARS
it's so, so much worse and i think that should have been talked about more - it really does make the situation a lot worse once you understand the context
and he used BABY OIL and played diddy music while doing it! he knew exactly what he was doing
Wow 😔🙏 thank you for the info 😔🙏
And who watches and listens to his disgusting antics? Who is his viewer base? I don’t think offending people/communities is funny at all. It’s cringe at best. Heartbreaking/infuriating at worst.
I understand he’s protected somewhat by the first here in the US, not so in other countries…
I’m too annoyed and disgusted to formulate coherent thoughts right now.
Thank you for the extra intel.

I am currently living in korea and let me tell you EVERYONE hates this guy absolutely rightfully so. I'm happy he's facing legal justice.
Everything he does is intentional. He’s been kicked out of other countries for the same behavior.
He has no excuse. He needs consequences.
I’m wondering to what end? How can we allow him to travel from country to country, deeply offending these communities, breaking laws, then coming home to receive likes and a paycheck from his disgusting behavior?
So crazy. He’s bounty-worthy, imo. 😬

His invitation to the cookout has forever been revoked.

Having to know the identity of the criminal is pretty strange.. what if you don’t know..?

A bounty just to kick his ass in comparison to what THEY would do to him is miles of difference.
she may not have deleted it sometimes youtube deletes comments
After watching authorities in Japan, Israel and everywhere else he went just let him go unscathed; and him filming himself mocking how naive the authorities are for believing him while fleeing; I have to say I was gleeful to hear about the bounty and the netizens finally taking the issue into their capable hands.
Getting arrested in every country he visits must be on his bucket list or something? And the most egregious thing that boils my blood is, he has the means and money to travel around those countries. What a waste...
💯
Pretty sure he's not making much, if any, money anymore, and from what I've heard, he's not in jail because instead of housing him in jail and leeching those resources, he has to pay for his own food/lodging/etc. And SK allows for hard labor if someone can't pay fines.
Seriously I can only DREAM of going to Japan and guys like this can afford to go there.. it’s really disheartening
Just wanted to confirm that yes, South Korean Parliament would in fact be the equivalent of the US Congress being concerned
He really went from 0 to 100 betting banned from a streaming platform and then getting banned from AN ENTIRE COUNTRY in 0.2 seconds
Respectfully swoop, this is one you should have deep dived, not dipped into.
Maybe she will do a deep dive sometime. From reading these comments and watching a couple videos where he was jumped... It seems like there is definitely some context missing. I understand why a bounty was put on him after doing my own research.

Edit: I've watched this and there's a loooot not covered.

I’m still trying to process how he rode around subways in Japan yelling Hiroshima, Nagasaki.

Trust me when I say: we’re all for it! We’re here for you! Don’t apologize for being you! You’re why we’re here!
Oh boy you’re spoiling us 😂
31 in prison for being the worst? damn i need to prepare for a change of lifestyle.
News: 'Diddy Arrested For Tons of Awful Stuff"
Me: WHERE IS SWOOP???????
(Please do a doc on Diddy, Swoop. 😊)
I hope the United States is not parking for his life to get extradited I really hope not
Some people are just an embarrassment to their whole nation and society 🤦🏻♀️
0:13 thank you beyonce
A Diddy doc is not a want it's a NEED
That was how I found out about this topic.
@moonwalkerangel7008 same actually
And if you want updated information, Andrew over at Legal Mindset is covering updated information, is in Korea at the moment and collecting evidence for the court.
I am so excited for your Diddy doc!!!! Great video as always!
A new swoop video yaaaaay🎉🎉 it's always worth the wait for swoops videos
omg thank goodness you uploaded cause girl I can't tell you how much I needed a new video from you!!! LOVE YOU SWOOP❤
Never been this early! I have no idea what it’s about but the title made me think someone must’ve died in the case
@15:19 "Does this look like a face?" Well damn Swoop, got 'em! 😂
Thank you. I'm so glad you're covering him.
I voted that it was never there to begin with. He was not raised properly, not supervised properly, not reprimanded properly.
Career Skidmark is my new favorite insult. Thank you!
I think bounties should be a thing now. Some people don’t learn any other way.
10:04 Your Diddy call was actually bang on. He's not "bronzed" himself, that was Johnny covered in baby oil.
Swoop has been feeding us lately lol
I just wanted to tell you how much I love your "purple look". The hair, the gear.... even the make-up is just..on point.
I just found your video's, I Love the way you break down cases
I'm American and I worry for the bad name certain tourist put on us. I hope I can travel to places like Japan without idiots like this already making the locals resentful and warry over me visiting there
I... just... when Pewdiepie is calling you out for being a nuisance in streams you KNOW you've done something wrong...
Thanks!
stephanie soo makes a great video about him where she dives into the korean culture around the statue and the specifics of what he did
