I tend to need to share some docs or ask for edits from outside parties--attorneys, etc, who are not on my team. Can I share a link to a shared folder and/or box notes without requiring them to have Box or create a logon?

How do I transfer my files from my box app on my phone to my box app on my computer.

Think of Box as a cloud provided by a specific company. The app is a way to access that specific cloud. If you put a file 'into the Box app' on your computer, you are actually uploading a copy of the file into the cloud. You can then access that file copy from any other place - in your instance the phone - when you log in to the service (which you're doing by using the app). Services like Box are great for people (or families) who live their lives on multiple devices, but need shared access to content.
