I had a tough time with Voyager too, because it's basically Borg-porn from season 4 on. As with all scary things, the more you show them and talk about them, the less scary they become.

"Generations" I usually skip like I do the episode "Relics" because both have the racist "TOS" crap, and the other movies were scored by Jerry Goldsmith, a codeless asshole. "FC" was scored by his son. "Star Trek" is the only franchise where I don't like the movies for the most part.
I consider the entire Picard series to be non-canon, or, at best, alternative universe. Why? "You have to use your imagination" to make the magic doohicky work?... My fat hairy ass! That just ain't Star Trek.
@@robjackson5245 That doesn't make sense at all. In TNG, they are already assimilating others all the time. Also, lots of humanoids in Star Trek look so similar to humans, we couldn't tell after assimilation. We don't even know if Hugh is a human.
