AshisutantoDirekutaa Hi! I had the same question. You may have figured it out by now, but the Alex Theater tickets were refunded and we have to buy new ones (same price) for the Paley Center. I’m bummed because I had great seats, but glad to still get to go. I would have shown up in Glendale instead so I’m glad I saw this earlier. I’m worried a lot of people will show up at the other venue. Anyway, hope you enjoy the show and DFTBA!
Krissy M, thank you so much for letting us know! I too saw the venue change by chance and was wondering what to do. I reached out to Alex Theatre so hopefully they’ll send a mass email to folks who bought tickets to let them know their tickets were refunded-which will hopefully limit the number of people who go to Glendale by accident (but if anyone does, I highly recommend stopping by Porto’s bakery because that place is bomb and worthy consolation). Anyways, Krissy, thanks again, enjoy the show, see you there, and DFTBA!

Krissy M thanks! I did check the Alex Theatre ticket order status and it does say “Refund” on it. I also had great seats there, but Paley Center is probably a more intimate venue in comparison (and supposedly has free parking in BH!).
Henry and Alice are such beautiful children. They truly have their father's face.

I love that at face value you can read this as nihilism but if you think carefully it lifts your spirit in a profound way.
Because everything passes. It can hurt to think that the good things in your life are only temporary but that also means the bad things in your life are temporary as well.
@@luisabravo1438 Moments like these, when I feel like a total wreck and get anxiety... I like to look at images of the Hubble Legacy Field. It reminds me of how small I am in our Solar System and even more so in the roughly 200,000 galaxies in that image. It feels like nothing matters when you look at that image like everything gets swallowed by the plain vastness of space... I feel a little better knowing that what I feel or did doesn't matter or even if I feel this way it will all disappear one day. As you said, it is all temporary.

i think i was just so surprised from seeing alice's size bc (if i'm not mistaken) we literally have never seen her on camera before. or at least not since she was a baby.
I had to pause the video at that point because I was so shook. I remember John’s “Adorable Baby is Adorable” video from the Brotherhood 2.0 days (or thereabouts)! Henry’s not a baby anymore😢

I love that Henry and Alice have taken up their mother's Yeti Mantle. So proud of them. (Also, they're so big, OMG).
I had a phone job interview for a potential first Big Girl Job and being someone who gets really anxious about: 1) phone calls 2) talking about myself 3) talking to strangers and 4) the future, it was perfect anxiety storm for me. Didn't sleep much leading up to it. But you have tapped into something here that feels kind of like healing. So thank you, John. And now I'm going to watch it again.

As someone who has been changing and "growing up" a lot for the past 2-3 years (I'm almost 21), this sentiment makes me happy. I really like growing.
As a kid, I didn't want to grow up. But now that I am, I really love the feeling of "Wow, that used to bother me, and now it doesn't" and just general confidence in myself, not needing nearly as much validation from others as I used to.
Seeing you as an actual adult talking about still growing is comforting... It seems that I, too, will never be done growing. And that's a good thing.

My version of "this is temporary" is "time will pass."
Whether I want it to pass faster or slower, it will pass just the same as always. Whatever my anxiety is about, it will come to pass whether I am ready or not, and that has been very comforting in my darkest moments.

This is the first vlogbrothers video I've seen for a while.. AS IF Henry and Alice are now actual fully grown humans!
John really does know just what to post when I need it. I am a freshman in college and had an anxiety attack during my debate practice, and I was just so embarrassed and ugh it was so bad. But at least at this moment I am reassured that my anxiety is not my fault, and hopefully i will feel that more and more as I grow.
