Actually...see, you have to consider this: we have TV shows too, let's assume you're German (play along) and you watch a Turkish drama. Some things might be weird, but it's not unheard of and not really that much is different. Their TV is the same as yours...(it applies to other nationalities too, Polish with UK, American with Indian (Bollywood)so on). That then reflects that societies are not that different...but then you get to Chinese drama...and this stuff is normal (and it is) ...their society is completely different. In some part, same with South Korean stuff.
In short, there's a reason why this kind of stuff is on TV and they might not see it be, as bad as you might.

The point is that when you suddenly lose confidence and start playing softer because of playing a wrong note, the audience will be able to tell something's wrong and that'll ruin the performance. If you simply keep going with the same confidence they probably won't notice, and if they do they will most probably forget it because you don't show in any way you did something wrong.

Paula Crespo True. Nowadays Chinese drama directors choose to give opportunities to actors who are just good looking and famous, and not actors with good acting or professional. This movie is an example. The actors apparently didn’t research information about violins or even classical music. It is very disappointing that there are only a few Chinese dramas which have a good director, good actors and a good plot.

@@8curious Clickbait is when your title is deliberately hyped up and exaggerated such that it no loger match the content. I don't think twosetvilin does that. You can take their most "clickbaity" title and that content you will still learn something from.
It's actually a very honest channel. Their critique is also constructive.

    Five positive things about Twoset:
    1. They inspired me to challenge the asian stereotype of being a doctor
    2. They made me fall in love classical music (Current favorite is Tchaikovsky violin concerto and basically everything twoset plays)
    3. They give me a good laugh when I'm having a bad day
    4. They give us quality content everyday
    5. They give me a reason to get up from bed every morning

This guy: "You've played a wrong note!"
My college piano teacher: "Just be aware that this is actually an E-flat, not an E-natural. Now let's talk about posture, excess motion, unnecessary tension, pedaling, touch/articulation, voicing, and practice techniques for the forty pieces you're simultaneously learning for recital and accompaniment."
Me: "At least he didn't mention intonation."
