It's great to see Vietnam opening up again and foreign tourists starting to trickle back in. I was last there in 2019, a few months before the pandemic hit. Visited Hanoi, Hoi An, Da Nang and Saigon. @@AttilaAndZae You guys have to visit Hoi An while you're in Da Nang. It's a very popular heritage-listed ancient town that is a must visit, especially at night when all the lanterns are lit up. It's only 45mins drive from Da Nang and you can stop by Marble Mountain on the way. You won't regret it.

Ho Chi Minh city looks absolutely amazing!!! Must have been so much fun riding around on the motor bike… And that drone footage Z, Dam Son, directly over that bridge 😬😬😰. You’re gonna have to buy drones by the bulk 🤣👌🏽
Ho Chi Minh was a lot of fun for sure! A very busy city with a lot of traffic 😊 Of course we had a great time on the motor bike 😆. The drones definitely have to be ordered in bulk, but we gotta get those shots. The audience loves it.
It is very sad that you are not in Cambodia, because now is the Khmer New Year " Songkran" is really fun and very strange. we're missed for 2 years !! Have a good luck in Vietnam😊
Yeah, unfortunately it’s difficult to plan so in advance and we didn’t know about Khmer New Years until it was already too late, but maybe in the future we will come back to experience it.
Songkran is a Thai word derived from Sanskrit word (Sangken used by Northern India minority, Dai people). In Cambodia, it's actually called "Choul Chnam Thmey". Cambodian just started using the word "Songkran" recently as it sounds much more familiar to tourists.

You guys should go across the saigon river where the locals gathered at sunset and enjoying a drink with the view of the city's skylines. Tourist don't know about that. Think you need to cross the river through Ham Thu Thiem tunnel, a place called: Khu thả diều Thủ Thiêm (locals fly kites here) from here try to go to the river bank or ask around where you have to be, good luck. Hello! We spent 3 weeks in Vietnam and we booked usually 2 or 3 days in advanced, we used Agoda.com to book the hotels. We would suggest booking before you get there because customs will ask for your address while you are there.

Hello and thank you! Most places did not ask us for a deposit to rent the bike, however we were only renting them for a couple days at a time, and none of the places asked us for our international drivers license either (we do have one). We’d suggest getting an international license before coming, just incase you get pulled over.
The building with the Saigon Skydeck is the second tallest building in the city but it's only the third tallest building in Vietnam and soon to be the fifth tallest building in the next 2-3 years.
go to all the non touristy spots Ha long bay is good for a quick trip but once you see it get out of their a total tourist trap. Grab some scooters and explore the country. Lots to see besides the key areas hit all the small villages and temples great food and fabulous friendly people and yes most speak english.

@@AttilaAndZae Yeah, you should have checked out Max McFarlin's channel before heading to Vietnam to find food. But for beginners, I'd start out with bun thit nuong, com tam (which you guys had, but there are better versions out there), pho (but everyone tries that), bun bo Hue (pho's spicier cousin), bun rieu, banh xeo, banh khot, banh cuon, bo la lot, anything that's grilled with lemongrass, etc.! Watch how the locals eat it or ask them to show you as some of the stuff needs to be eaten wrapped in greens and herbs then dipped.
We will definitely be trying a lot more coffees in our upcoming videos, like the coconut coffee, more egg coffee and others. Do you have any suggestions for us? Attila drinks Americano, because he doesn’t want any sugar in his coffee, but he’s still willing to try sweet coffees for the experience 😊

Yes, you can choose between a PCR test with 72 hours of arrival or a Rapid Antigen test within 24 hours of arrival. We chose the Rapid since it was a lot cheaper.

But for beginners, I'd start out with bun thit nuong, com tam (which you guys had, but there are better versions out there), pho (but everyone tries that), bun bo Hue (pho's spicier cousin), bun rieu, banh xeo, banh khot, banh cuon, bo la lot, anything that's grilled with lemongrass, etc.! Watch how the locals eat it or ask them to show you as some of the stuff needs to be eaten wrapped in greens and herbs then dipped.

Yes, you can choose between a PCR test with 72 hours of arrival or a Rapid Antigen test within 24 hours of arrival. We chose the Rapid since it was a lot cheaper.
