So many wonderful memories in so little time while traveling from Northern to Southern Vietnam back in 2018! Now, it's time for me to be back to Vietnam.
As a Vietnamese, it's great seeing you guys enjoying your time here in Vietnam! It's been such a long time since we last people coming to our country so it's feels awesome to welcome you guys to our country. However, one thing worth noticing in this video is that the egg coffee that you guys tried in the beginning is a bit (if not really) expensive compared to the usual or common price. Even at Cafe Giảng (which is where egg coffee was "invented" by the way), a cup of egg coffee would only cost you 34k VND (approximately $1.50). If you have more time, you guys should definitely take a trip to Phú Quốc city - the first island city of Vietnam, or Côn Đảo island. Both have picture-like scenery and gorgeous beaches. A visit to the Mekong Delta down the south of Ho Chi Minh city would also be really interesting. The central provinces also have a lot to offer. Danang, Nha Trang and Hue are the three most visited provinces of the region. Danang has the Sơn Trà peninsula, lots of beautiful beaches, and in the nearby province - Quảng Nam, there is the Hoi An old town and the Mỹ Sơn ruins. Hue is renowned for its historical landmarks, such as the Imperial Citadel, the Tomb of Khải Định, Minh Mạng, etc. I'm currently living Nha Trang, and although it used to be a touristy and overcrowded destination, the city is now more peaceful compared to the pre-COVID19 period. You can come here and visit the Cham towers up the north of the city, visit the Chồng rocks, rent a motorbike and drive through the Lương Sơn pass to visit the small peaceful village, and definitely go island-hopping here. If you love getting off the beaten track, you can visit Quy Nhơn city, there are a handful of picturesque scenery there (such as Eo Gió, Phương Mai sand dunes, etc.), Ninh Thuận is also a good choice if you want to find out more about the less-touristy side of Vietnam. Further up in the north of the central region is Quảng Bình, where Sơn Đoong - the largest cave in the world- is located. The province also has lots of caves worth exploring. Another region that a lot of people tend to forget about is Tây Nguyên - The central highlands. You can take a trip to Đà Lạt, Gia Lai or Buôn Ma Thuột to find out about the culture of ethnic minorities in Vietnam and enjoy the more "mild" weather there. Speaking of "Tây" - which is the word for West in Vietnamese, the provinces of Tây Bắc - or Northwestern, are also worth a visit. I would highly recommend visiting Phú Thọ and Lào Cai provinces. The Northeast provinces, especially Hà Giang and Quảng Ninh, hold some of the most beautiful sceneries of our country. Apart from Ha Long Bay, you should also visit Cát Bà island, Yên Tử pagoda, and the Rock Plateau of Đồng Văn (in Hà Giang). The areas surrounding Hà Nội, such as Ninh Bình, also has lots of tourist destinations. If you want to visit all the important landmarks of our country (as I have mentioned above), it would probably take you at least 1 month of intense travelling lol. So basically, you are spoilt for choices when you come here. We are so happy to welcome you back to Vietnam, and we wish you the best of your journey!
I went to Vietnam for the first time the year before the pandemic. I was really impressed and can’t wait to go back again. I’m looking forward to your videos.

Yessss! Egg coffee is heavenly. Good thing you guys love coffee because Vietnam has I believe some of the best in the world. But be careful, it can be pretty intense at times as it's definitely a proper pick me up. 🤪
We absolutely loved (may or may not have gone back the following day and had 2 more each haha!). This one wasn't super strong, but some coffees here are enough to keep you going all day!
My husband and I have really enjoyed your videos from Thailand and more so, from my homeland, Vietnam! Adopted from Vietnam during the Vietnam war, reside in England, UK. Have been fortunate enough to have visited Vietnam on numerous occasions on my own, with my husband our son. I highly recommend if time permits and renting a motor cycle the 'Hai Van Pass' road trip between Da Nang, where I originate! and Hue. Also, taking the Reunification Express train from the North to the South of Vietnam, traversing the S shape of Vietnam.. both journeys are mesmerizing scenic routes that will captivate you! You will wholeheartedly enjoy Vietnam! Further, Cat Ba Island, Ha Long Bay and the quieter extension of Ha Long Bay; Bai Tu Long Bay, much quieter, calmer and more serene! Ninh Binh, Ha Long Bay on land is enchanting! Not forgetting the rice terraces in Sapa, northern Vietnam and 'The Rice Bowl of Vietnam' the Mekong Delta, confluence and maze of rivers, swamps and islands and home to floating markets. Vietnam has unquestionably has contrasting and diverse landscapes. Your time in Vietnam will be astonishingly exotic and compelling! Unforgettable sensory overload experiences are everywhere in beautiful Vietnam! Wishing you both 'all the best' with your travels and 2 Passports 1 AMAZING Dream!
What a lovely story - and glad you are enjoying our videos! This time around we don't have time for the hai van pass but we will be back in the future! We definitely are going to hit up ha long bay :) . The landscape is insane! Thank you so much for watching and commenting 💕
I loved Vietnam. I don't know how they do but the bread for their Banh mi is so good. Saigon is the place I liked less in Vietnam, so hope you will be impressed by other places. In Hanoi egg coffee, pho are wow. But crossing streets wil be nervee breaking everywhere. lol
The bread here is absolutely fantastic! We are currently in Dalat and although it is cooler, it is SO beautiful! We cant wait to explore further up north, too! Very much looking forward to Hanoi.
@@emildrizov1686 it isn't too hard, 1st make sure you got eyes contact with motorbikes comming, start cross the road at slow and steady speed, and keep go strait, motorbikes wil turn around, nobody hit you 😁
"Bia hoi" is a very specific Hanoi thing, hence why you can't find it in Saigon. There are some amazing vegetarian Vietnamese eateries in Saigon, many that are run by Buddhist nuns, so you know the food has to be good because they eat it themselves.
No, there's actually 01 very famous 'Bia hoi' in HCM city. It's called ''Huy béo'', located 19bis Nguyen Thi Minh Khai street. And their beer taste as same as the ones in Hanoi. Make a better research next time, boy!
Oh thank you so much! Hehe we are happy to hear that you enjoyed it! It is absolutely a fantastic country to visit - we are so excited to keep exploring 🇻🇳
Looks like you guys are having a great time there.😁 Vietnamese coffee is the best! I am looking forward to seeing more of your adventures in Veitnam! Keep it coming!!💕🇹🇭💝🌹
Loved your vlog and the 1st impressions of Vietnam. I Always find it funny people crossing the roads there. I landed on New Year’s Day in Ho Chi Minh,it was absolutely crazy,we had to get the taxi driver to help us cross the road to the hotel 😂😂
Haha wow what a story! I can only imagine how hectic it would have been on New Years day! The locals are good at crossing, we always try to cross when they do haha!
Northern Vietnamese dishes have a lighter and more frugal taste than the South. Southern food is sweeter and fatter, and spices are added to the plate, creating a vibrant and delicious impression. Central food is salty and spicy because the climate there is cold. You should try Vietnamese sweets because they are delicious and diverse; there are also very few foreign TH-camrs filming these sweets. But these are also our quintessential dishes that are not inferior to Pho, banh mi.. When you eat PHở, use chopsticks with a shared spoon together, so you can always use soup while eating.
Daniel: I believe the cooking style of central area not caused by cold, it's caused by land and weather , lot of sand and big storm every year, are not good for plant rice and raise animal for food, then salt added to make food reserve longer, everything spicy help create "taste" while people eat. The south high central may got cold but the lower part, close to sea isnt cold, even in summer when wind from west arrived, it's nightmare for hot and dry and people call it Gió Lào mean wind came from Laos.
Well done 👍🏻! Crossing the road 😅 Mindset! You do your part “not to get hit”, they do their part “not to hit the pedestrian “, but the traffic keep on going, day & night! 😅
haha so true! We try to avoid getting hit, and the drivers seem very good at avoiding us, as well! It's a strange feeling to cross without stopping but it somehow works so well 🇻🇳
Thanks for sharing this video guys! We have never been to Vietnam and have always wanted to! The egg/coffee seems yummy & interesting….from the banh mi to Pho, cocktails 🍹 🍺 Your hotel accommodations: not bad at all! It’s crossing the street is what seems pretty scary……😱 you two are very brave! Cannot wait to see more of your awesome adventures in this country :)
Great video, especially with all the things you covered in a 16min video. Making me miss Vietnam a lot. There also is a ton of great vegetarian places in Saigon that you guys should check out.
It’d be nice if you can explore the vegetarian side of vietnamese cuisine there in HCMC. Put ‘chay’ behind every dish (like pho chay, banh mi chay, bun chay, etc) and you’ll be surprised by how diverse the vegetarian scene there
@@2Passports1Dream Sarah's right. People don't really show Vietnam's vegetarian dishes, which makes much sense considering most food vloggers and bloggers are non-vegetarian, but Vietnam is so vegetarian friendly. I believe it has something to do with the high percentage of Buddhists, but don't quote me on that.
@@aznmochibunny Yes it's highly associated with Buddhism or at least more spiritual than the West. I hope the vegetarian scene gets more coverage because it's not just an 'veg option' on a menu but more seperate with restaurants only serve vegetarian food.
😄 I was in Vietnam a few years ago. I don't know where you're going to go next in Vietnam but I sent two photos during my trip. One with high traffic and one in Da Nang with way less traffic. My comments was that when you're used to cross a street with that much of traffic, seeing one with fewer traffic was terrifying for me. It seems nuts really, but the feeling was real on my side. 😂
Don't forget to drop by Da Nang, the most worth-living city in Vietnam with sandy beaches, lovely weather and stunning bridges (we have a "dragon bridge" that breathes fire every weekend) 🥰 We're also the third biggest city in VN after Hanoi and Saigon
The key and history part of Pho is the soup, not the noodle. The nutrition (extracted from the thrown away bones) from the soup is what reason that keep the people alive.
Traditional Vietnamese coffee (hot, ice) has its own unique strong taste & strong aroma. Because their coffee bean is over-roasted accompanied with a bit much oil like caramelized. And they always use condensed milk for both hot & ice (like Thai tradition coffee & tea).
Thank you guys for making videos to help us bring Vietnamese culture to the world. Hope you guys have a wonderful time in our beautiful and friendly country
Thank you for trying out the egg coffee. It's actually Hanoi specialty. Next you should try out the Vietnamese chocolate. They are tasty in different ways
@@2Passports1Dream Thank you! Can't wait to see the rest of the Vietnam series you two have in the pipeline. I just finished your dessert tour and that was really fun. One of my favorite dessert drink there is something called Che Thai. It has jackfruit and lychee.
As usual, yr vlog has emersed me into it. Its such a simple day activity but amazingly good. 👏 bravo. I think its the way its been delivered, very professional. Anyway be extra cautious when crossing road
Welcome the couple to Vietnam, a country with beautiful scenery, stable social and political conditions, Vietnamese people are very happy and happy, where there has never been any terrorism and most importantly everything is cheap. and delicious
Thank you for traveling in Vietnam. A little advice is that when eating Pho, you should add a slice of lemon and a little chili sauce so that when enjoying the dish it has a mild sour taste, moderately spicy so that the broth is richer and more delicious, accompanied by herbs to eat is great!
When it came to food, Vietnam is the ultimate right choice. Super savory, not to spicy, not too oily, not too salty, maybe a little bit sweet in the south but generally it's balance all kind flavors. The portion is pretty perfect for people who want to eat many food in a day. Btw, the 74k Pho you ate is quite expensive for local people. The average price for Pho is around 45k only :)
Ho Chi Minh Cuisine and Ha Noi Cuisine are very different in flavor and seasoning (south vs north). in the south it's more flavorful (spicy & sweet) while the north is more rich. The list of food that you want to tried (egg coffee, banh mi, pho) are originally from the North, so if you want the most authentic flavor I recommend going there. There is a whole different set of local cuisine in the South Vietnam that you can tried in Ho Chi Minh city.
You're wrong about Banh mi. Everyone all know the heaven of banh mi is in the south (esp Saigon) with every kinds of banh mi you can dream of. This is fact, nothing to debate. People from the north all agree on this.
this is the first time i came across your channel and honestly i really respect that the girl is vegetarian but is still quite open minded, hope the best for you guys!
In Ho Chi Minh City, you can explore the Floating Market in the Mekong River. Or travel to Mui Ne, where there are desert sand mountains and the sea. In the central region, let's go to Da Nang - a touristic and livable city, then to the ancient town of Hoi An (unesco), and Hue (unesco) - the former royal capital. In the North, go to Hanoi to experience traditional cuisine and culture, then go to Sapa in the mountains, and go to Ha Long Bay - a natural wonder of the world. Currently, the North has experienced a cold winter, the weather is very warm
@@2Passports1Dream On December 4, 1999, UNESCO issued a decision to recognize Hoi An ancient town as a World Cultural Monument. Hue as the land known as the land of heritage, where there are 5 heritages recognized by Unesco. Ha Long Bay is very famous, it is a natural wonder of the world
I think the beer Dylan is hoping for is in the central part of Vietnam. Vietnamese coffee is the best. It's a different bean (robusta) that they use and it is roasted a little differently. Also, very strong!!! You will have to try the coconut coffee too!
Actually in Vietnam we have Grap, Be and Gojeck for taxi and motorbike taxi services. If you cannot pay for your trip with a bank card, you can pay with cash (or your bank visa card). They allow that. They also have a food delivery service if you don't want to leave the house
It seems like everyone has same reactions when they first come and see the traffic in Vietnam, also in the comments there’re lots of people complaining about it too. Yes we Vietnamese tired of it too, it’s chaotic with honks unorganized and doesn’t follow any rules. However it’s a big part of our life, honking has became a habit to warn and remind people that you’re in Vietnam streets not in the forest. We want to change and it’s changing but we can’t do it in one day, takes time to change everyone and their mindset and other aspects as well. Therefore, everyone before coming please learn it first, either accept it or leave it. Thank you and sorry for bad English:))
It's so interesting to see how things work differently in different countries. Somehow the honking seems like part of daily life! We have learned to like it already. Instead of feeling stressed or worried when we hear a honk, it feels more like a 'hello I am here'. We even did a bit of honking ourselves today haha! Luckily the horns sound less loud in Vietnam!
@@2Passports1Dream Thank you very much for your kind words. It’ll be fun experiences. Your chanel is very interesting and entertaining. We always welcome and are happy to see you guys coming to our country. I wish you have the best time with us ❤️
Honking and the traffic is Vietnam. Many foreigners may have a problem initially, but then they grow to like it a lot. Many love driving in all that craziness as they think it's fun, which, it would be if you come from a country where strict traffic rules are enforced. It gives them more freedom whilst driving/riding in all that chaos.
I heard Vietnam is trying to implement a subway system and I think they unveiled one in Hanoi, but the project was overdue and delayed multiple times (according to my dad [we're Vietnamese living abroad], it was because of corruption, but who knows)
Welcome to our beloved country! Hope you guys will have a great time here. Ngl but that Pho is kinda expensive 😅 For Bia Hơi, you can find it very popular in Hanoi but not in Ho Chi Minh City.
You guys are so kind when you talk about their culture and their food. I feel relaxed watching your videos, the colors of your videos are also very beautiful
Currently hotel prices are very similar but we found coffee to be much more affordable here in Vietnam! Otherwise it seems similar, on first inspection!
Depends on how you want to live like (1) a local or (2) a high-end tourist. It can go from dirt cheap to whatever you can find in any other metropolitan.
Can't wait for the next one guys. Wondering if you went to the drinking place at night. It's all those small stools by the road side, quite a unique experience 😅 I think the beer thingy, you can only find that maybe in Hanoi or the North. From my understanding, beer also has it's policy/territory, such as certain brand can only sell in particular area. They don't want to share the market to other brand. Have a great day ya🤜🤛
Great to see you in Vietnam. We love Ho Chi Min City. There is so much history and the buildings as you say look so interesting. I look forward to more of your
I've spent the week in Da Nang & Hoi An, and the constant honking has been very stressful for me. And even though I've crossed the street successfully, it is stressful to need to dodge so many cars and scooters, especially because in those 2 cities, they don't follow any rules. They drive on the wrong side of the street, on the sidewalk, wherever, and they don't keep a constant speed so it's really difficult to be a pedestrian here. (I used Grab successfully in Da Nang with a Thai phone number, so I'm surprised you had trouble.)
You're missing the point when you're living in Vietnam. We honk over here when someone is doing something wrong or when they want to have a road rage with someone, they honk over there to keep people aware and the honking is not even that loud. And btw, you're not dodging cars or scooters, matter of fact they are dodging you. Even a blind person can cross the street. The people over there live stress-free. They don't get stressed out easily and angry easily. You're putting the stress on yourself because you don't understand our way of life and culture.
I understand the feeling of any foreign friend who had been to VN the first time. It's scary at first but trust me, that's one of the most interesting adventure when you can overcome the fear and start to feel normal to it. It's like the childhood memory of any people here in VN. And also the bike riders are kind of flexible and good at riding more than the car driver. If you see they are looking ahead and see you, it means you are safe :))
@@2Passports1Dream Oh bummer, I would have loved to meet you! I leave today for Europe. Hoi An in particular is charming, I would have enjoyed it much more if I had someone to share it with (I'm traveling alone). 99% of the tourists here right now are Vietnamese, which alone makes it an interesting spot to visit.
@@iJuceYou I understand that, Chris. And by the way, the honking IS that loud when you come from a culture where there isn't constant honking. Just because it's not stressful for the locals doesn't mean it's not stressful for an outsider coming in for the first time.
We’re spending way less here than in Thailand. I’d say as a solo person £30 a day would be a solid budget including accommodation (can get places £10 per night or less). Of course you may need a bit more if you decide to do luxury travel such as flying rather than buses and trains! Enjoy
Hey there, I got some vegatarian friendly restaurants that are near your place: 1. Shamballa Vegetarian, Restaurant & Tea House - 17-19 Trịnh Văn Cấn st, district 1 2. Veggie Saigon Restaurant - 14 Nguyễn Thị Nghĩa, also district 1 Enjoy Vietnam!
U dont need to link any bank for Grab! There is a cash option: paid after each trip. Reason: So many people in Vietnam dont have credit card/bank account
Your video just popped up as I am following 2 Canadians who just landed in the Halong city area and it was not busy as compared to where you are (will familiarize myself with a map) . Really enjoyed your day adventure - felt the anxiety of crossing the road Ha Ha. Interesting that they did get Banh Mi also for much cheaper but probably depends on how much meat etc is added and still very inexpensive overall. Looking forward to seeing more.
yes the Phở broth is definitely drinkable, if you put less chili, it will be a refreshing feeling to drink the broth, which was stew for hours with plenty of ingridients
@@2Passports1Dream When you buy a Pho, You pay like 10% for the Pho, 50% for the meat, and 40% for the broth. Also all the flavors are in the broth. So a wise person never left the broth. My rule of eating Pho is not using any additional chili/lime because it ruins the broth. Just add unless you know you need it. p/s; I am authentically raised with Pho in the North.
Thank you for making a video for me to watch every day. Your video looks so beautiful, both the color and the sound are clear. One day I will go to that city because it is close to my country.👍👍👍😍

Crossing street will be nervee 😅
Once you've got bánh mì here, you will figure out that McDonald is a " scam " 🤣

"Bia hoi" is a very specific Hanoi thing, hence why you can't find it in Saigon.
There are some amazing vegetarian Vietnamese eateries in Saigon, many that are run by Buddhist nuns, so you know the food has to be good because they eat it themselves.
Ah that’s a great suggestion thank you so much!
No, there's actually 01 very famous 'Bia hoi' in HCM city. It's called ''Huy béo'', located 19bis Nguyen Thi Minh Khai street. And their beer taste as same as the ones in Hanoi. Make a better research next time, boy!
Excited to see you in Vietnam, glad I saved this vlog for when I was all comfy, well worth the wait. 💗

Đó là đặc sản của việt nam 😂
Con người ở đây luôn luôn chào đón các bạn ❤️
Northern Vietnamese dishes have a lighter and more frugal taste than the South. Southern food is sweeter and fatter, and spices are added to the plate, creating a vibrant and delicious impression. Central food is salty and spicy because the climate there is cold. You should try Vietnamese sweets because they are delicious and diverse; there are also very few foreign TH-camrs filming these sweets. But these are also our quintessential dishes that are not inferior to Pho, banh mi.. When you eat PHở, use chopsticks with a shared spoon together, so you can always use soup while eating.
Thank you so much! We just filmed a sweets video actually, stay tuned ;)
@@vietle1479 That's right; I cannot say everything in a short comment. I had lived in Quy Nhon.
Well done 👍🏻! Crossing the road 😅
Mindset!

Thank you 🇻🇳💕 much more to come 😀
It’d be nice if you can explore the vegetarian side of vietnamese cuisine there in HCMC. Put ‘chay’ behind every dish (like pho chay, banh mi chay, bun chay, etc) and you’ll be surprised by how diverse the vegetarian scene there
That's great to know! We have managed to find some brilliant vegetarian dishes, and are very exited to try more!
Hha that’s weird, we feel the other way. Dalat was very calm 😀
Don't forget to drop by Da Nang, the most worth-living city in Vietnam with sandy beaches, lovely weather and stunning bridges (we have a "dragon bridge" that breathes fire every weekend) 🥰 We're also the third biggest city in VN after Hanoi and Saigon
We are going there soon! 😍🤗 it looks so lovely!
Awww, miss Vietnam. You've reminded me of the adrenaline from crossing the road!
Hahaha it’s quite the rush!!
The key and history part of Pho is the soup, not the noodle. The nutrition (extracted from the thrown away bones) from the soup is what reason that keep the people alive.
AH yes, we didn't realize that and didn't focus enough on it! We are excited to eat even more Pho (and much more of the broth!)
Thanks guys. Great first video in Vietnam, looking forward to adventures there. 👍😎
Thanks so much for watching! We have so much more to explore!
The first time I went to Asia, the first meal arriving in ho chi Minh was the place you had your pho. Good memories!
Not a bad first meal! haha
Traditional Vietnamese coffee (hot, ice) has its own unique strong taste & strong aroma. Because their coffee bean is over-roasted accompanied with a bit much oil like caramelized. And they always use condensed milk for both hot & ice (like Thai tradition coffee & tea).
It's the perfect coffee for us, because we hate light roast coffee.
Oh and we love the condensed milk 😂
Thank you guys for making videos to help us bring Vietnamese culture to the world. Hope you guys have a wonderful time in our beautiful and friendly country

It’s a great place 😍🤗
I remember after three days in Vietnam, we both had sore throats from all the traffic pollution! We were on "Strepsils" for several days!! 😄😄
Yes it's pretty bad, but I think Bangkok is worse!
That 's why people wear masks, not mainly for Covid but for traffic pollution
Thank you for traveling in Vietnam. A little advice is that when eating Pho, you should add a slice of lemon and a little chili sauce so that when enjoying the dish it has a mild sour taste, moderately spicy so that the broth is richer and more delicious, accompanied by herbs to eat is great!
Thank you!! Hehe we will eat it again and again 🤗😍
The absolute madness of the traffic...😱
Its overwhelming to begin with but you get used to it!
Ah a bit pricier but definitely yummy 😍🤗 The food in Vietnam is so good!
Ohh thank you! We cant wait!
You're wrong about Banh mi. Everyone all know the heaven of banh mi is in the south (esp Saigon) with every kinds of banh mi you can dream of. This is fact, nothing to debate. People from the north all agree on this.
Banh mi I'm sure is more a southern thing. Pho, banh cuon, and the egg coffee are from the north.
They all use small chairs for easy stack up put away and doesn't take too much space for storage for small stores
Very convenient

this is the first time i came across your channel and honestly i really respect that the girl is vegetarian but is still quite open minded, hope the best for you guys!

We are planning to go to many of these! Didn't know they were unesco sites though - wow!
@@2Passports1Dream On December 4, 1999, UNESCO issued a decision to recognize Hoi An ancient town as a World Cultural Monument. Hue as the land known as the land of heritage, where there are 5 heritages recognized by Unesco. Ha Long Bay is very famous, it is a natural wonder of the world
@@2Passports1Dream Hoi Ann yes. The city of tanterns. So great but lot of tourists
I would recommend you to make time for Dalat. It is a beautiful place for you guys.
I think the beer Dylan is hoping for is in the central part of Vietnam. Vietnamese coffee is the best. It's a different bean (robusta) that they use and it is roasted a little differently. Also, very strong!!! You will have to try the coconut coffee too!
We will find some! Yes we love the coffee here it's soooo good!

Actually in Vietnam we have Grap, Be and Gojeck for taxi and motorbike taxi services. If you cannot pay for your trip with a bank card, you can pay with cash (or your bank visa card). They allow that. They also have a food delivery service if you don't want to leave the house
Thank you!! We managed to sort it out 🤗🤗
It seems like everyone has same reactions when they first come and see the traffic in Vietnam, also in the comments there’re lots of people complaining about it too.
We are trying to learn to embrace the chaos because its not really “chaos” it’s organised chaos haha! 🥰
I heard Vietnam is trying to implement a subway system and I think they unveiled one in Hanoi, but the project was overdue and delayed multiple times (according to my dad [we're Vietnamese living abroad], it was because of corruption, but who knows)
-- We Vietnamese, always warmly welcome visitors from all over the world, in the warmest and most cheerful way.

Oh we hope you can return again! It’s so lovely, we really like HCMC 😍🤗
It's intense isn't it! We will be coming up north in a few days - how long will you be in the area?
You need to stir it up very well before you sip. The dark roast coffee mix with creamy egg york make it taste much better.
We had another one today and did just that! So delicious!

I’m going to Vietnam in June and trying to figure out my budget. How much do you usually spend per day?
We’re spending way less here than in Thailand. I’d say as a solo person £30 a day would be a solid budget including accommodation (can get places £10 per night or less). Of course you may need a bit more if you decide to do luxury travel such as flying rather than buses and trains! Enjoy
Glad to see you're in Vietnam! 59K is pricey for a sandwich in VN.
It was a very fancy Banh Mi, we think - better meats in there! We had many other much more affordable ones! We are so happy to be here in Vietnam!
Hey there, I got some vegatarian friendly restaurants that are near your place:
1. Shamballa Vegetarian, Restaurant & Tea House - 17-19 Trịnh Văn Cấn st, district 1
2. Veggie Saigon Restaurant - 14 Nguyễn Thị Nghĩa, also district 1
Enjoy Vietnam!
U dont need to link any bank for Grab! There is a cash option: paid after each trip.
Reason: So many people in Vietnam dont have credit card/bank account

yes the Phở broth is definitely drinkable, if you put less chili, it will be a refreshing feeling to drink the broth, which was stew for hours with plenty of ingridients
Ah brilliant! Thank you - we’ve had it some times since then and love it very much 😍
@@2Passports1Dream When you buy a Pho, You pay like 10% for the Pho, 50% for the meat, and 40% for the broth. Also all the flavors are in the broth.
So a wise person never left the broth.
My rule of eating Pho is not using any additional chili/lime because it ruins the broth. Just add unless you know you need it.
p/s; I am authentically raised with Pho in the North.
