6:35 It is safe for almost all the cast... Except from Johnny Cage, his Shadow Kick can actually punish it, so try to always make your reversal safer with Goro, just to be sure
I don't think so, the shadow kick is 8 frames I believe so Johnny can't punish it that way, the only ones that I am aware of that can punish it is li mei and lui kang and maybe kung lao lol and Johnny can punish with d1.
I think Liu’s standing 1, Kung Lao’s back 1 and Johnny’s down 1 can punish it, that’s it

@@mewfishmeowscles For normal attacks yes, but special moves activate 1 frame faster than normal attacks so a 7 frame special move for example is as fast as a 6 frame normal attack, so if you are -7 you can punish it with a 7 frame special move. This is because normal attacks take 1 frame to activate whereas special moves avtivate instantly(take 0 frames).

Shame that it’s so easy to counter him. They need to give him some stuff to work with because all KL has is his armor, everything else is kinda bad. They also need to fix his hitboxes on 121 they don’t hit high enough.

-7 is safe for almost the whole cast except for Johnny and Liu Kang. They have 6 frame jab strings
I'm not sure but I think kung lao can also punish it with back 1 coz it's 6 frames but idk if it reaches. Li mei can also punish it with the 7 frame kick special move and get 50% lol

@@binkl2844 because it's usually unsave so you can punish if its blocked. That's a fighting game basic, because if not you can abuse it constantly with no downsides.
@@travinator043 he can’t abuse it if you block it or bait him. I fought a Lao in KL that burnt all of his meter trying to chip me out but when I blocked all of it I jumped out and mixed him to death because he had no meter to defend
@@travinator043 also you can’t say “it’s usually unsafe 🤓” when Kung Lao is always safe across every MK game. His moves are always hard to punish. You complaining about that is just a skill issue
