I fish muddy stained water. Black floats and hot pink floats are usually the top colors for producing channel Catfish.
I use black floats for every species of catfish and it produces way more bites for me. Just made a video about this a few weeks ago. 😎

@@williambenner701 True Story. FIL was using a telephone and a boat was following int the distance, they thought it was Game Warden. Ended up guy needed some matches to light his 1/4 stick dynamite fishing sticks. This was long before BIC lighters hit the scene.
Hi dieter I just got my first catfish rod and bait caster, so you have any advice on how to fight big catfish, I know your not supposed to reel it in, do you have to wait when they peel drag and then reel or like reel lift the rod and reel again
If you’re using circle hooks just lift and pull once the rod loads up!! Use the rod to lift and manage the fish, and let the reel just take up line. Don’t use the reel as a winch.

@@monitorcrazy9639 since you're a boxer you have no excuse for being tired, not getting up early, and not fishing....LOL!!! In all seriousness, your fitness gives you an advantage over folks that are not in as good a shape as you are. Use that fitness to your advantage to fish longer and gain access to places many are not willing to put the effort into getting to.

@@monitorcrazy9639 I've been thinking about doing a podcast on fitness and competitive fishing. You're at an age where you don't truly realize the advantage physical fitness gives you over someone who is less fit. Boxing also builds discipline and structure, and those are small tools that can transcend that world into fishing, especially if you push yourself to get better and better.
