There is an interesting storyline to various versions of the game as well, much like a pro wrestling performance of the bible, in which first father and his sons the hero twins do battle with the forces of hell, culminating in a final 2v1 showdown with the death god, which in the most cyclical version of the story the hero twins loose to the god and the story begins again with the surviving offspring of the last surviving twin.
Interestingly, the losing team was then killed, sacrificing the god of the Sun, then they took off their skin and the winners put it on themselves, the players, what was left of them was butchered and eaten, sprinkled with hot chili pepper.
