Though I am not as well read on Baldwin, I am now interested in doing an analysis to see how the it deferrers with the primary interest being Sartre. And what a great point on the difficulty, or impossibility of Sartre's radical libertarianism in light of not coming to a full understanding of one's own history. Sartre's reply to this may be found in part four of Being and Nothingness, where he talks about the intentional structure of every act. But that is a discussion too long for a comment haha. I just pulled up the article, and will be the first thing I read in the morning!

Oh, Pae! Discussing Sartre with you just entered my bucket list.
