    Heyla! I have family of blood and heart that I have made these for. They are all older and I have had no concern in using googly eyes and fabric glue. One of my nieces gave her infant/toddler hers to at with and it went immediately into the mouth. I'm not worried about the glue releasing because the toys don't go anywhere until the glue is cured to permanence. My concern is the googly eyes themselves, plastic can and will give away with chewing or washing. Have you played with other options?

      have you considered eyes made of crochet using magic circles?

    I've stitched eyes and mouth on very easily didn't have googly eyes

      Its such a small world isn't it? that group gives me so much inspiration. I made loads of these worms and left them round a local park. I got many messages back saying they were now in loving homes hehe xx

    I noticed that you use the American terms and not the UK terms for your stitches, I wondered why?

    • @TeenieCrochets
      @TeenieCrochets  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Its just the way I learnt.

      @@TeenieCrochets Thanks, realised that my question may have sounded rude after I posted it but it wasn't meant that way. I use both systems as well but I was taught the UK system when I was a child and had to learn the US terms because a lot of the magazines available in Australia at that time were American. I still slip stitch to join a row then chain up to start new row. I enjoyed watching your video and you are great at explaining what you're doing.
