I've been getting lots of questions about bags and the tags - please read this for more information!
📌 You don't need the bags, they are entirely optional (I was making these during terrible rainy weather. I normally leave my ROACK's bag-less and naked in the wild!) I just used some left over cello bags I had lying about the house. You can buy biodegradable bags in all sizes from Amazon if you prefer to use bags.
📌 The worry worm cards are available to download as a printable PDF from the Random Acts of Crochet Kindness Facebook Group which is linked in the description box below the video😀

I’m 10, and I just love crochet. One reason is because I have ADHD, and crochet keeps me busy. I took a look at this, and decided I was going to make this. Where I live, I don’t think there is this thing going around. I am going to leave this at my k-4 elementary school playground for the smaller ones, and also at my local park!

@@wendym37 chain the base row to the length you want then double crochet four time in each chain starting from the second link in the chain. It will start to become crazy looking. That’s when you have to get the stitches to lay on top of each other while it twists around the initial chain or base row. It might take a little practice.

@@wendym37 It was happening to me too BUT... after a while I realized that I was not doing it properly... The problem was I was not paying attention to: "crochet in the NEXT chain..." and what that means is what it says, and NOT crochet in the next "space..." which happens when you have chained the first row with too big stitches and then, in the second row, you are inserting the crochet randomly on a stitch that is on an already twisted first row and NOT on the "adjacent" chain... Well, at least I found my personal problem and had a chance to re-do my worm...

Share your hopes your dreams your worries or your prayers" I go to a place called "LifeCircles", it for the elderly like me that have trouble getting around. I put the worms and a few stars on the Bingo Cart. Lifecircles helps us go to appointments and it gets us out of our homes where we feel isolated and forgotten. I love it!

Thank you for posting this Robin. I made two your way, but when it came to the third one, I slightly changed it , it’s a ‘fault’ I have in everything I create, I tend to put my own stamp on things lol. What I did was start off with a magic ring, then did the chain and worked back up the chain to the head, and when I got to the head did single crochet around the head as I had multi coloured wool it framed it nicely. Next time I might do scallops around the head to make a ‘flower worry worm’ lol.

I found your site from Rose's Wings donations. A shawl was made from your open mesh one and was donated. I made a similar one 50+ years ago as my first project. I wanted to make some for donating also. I noticed the worm. I'm going to make and give to schools and to hand out at craft shows. Sorry to ramble but I get excited when the possibilities come to donate. Much love and hugs. 🤗 😇An angel for an angel. Now to locate the shawl pattern.
