- Meet Frank and his missus, the latest geese to join the forest garden gaggle.
Rob & Tilly hightail it to the village of Hinton Blewett to try to wrangle the birds from a flock of thirteen where hijinks ensue.
Follow us on this joyous journey, from stuffing the birds into the boot of Rob's VW Polo, to settling them into their new heavenly habitat and meeting their new feathered family the next day.

I avoided M9 & M27 rootstocks as I thought the root systems would be too shallow to cope with the strong wind here. I think I opted for a lot of M25s, if I remember correctly 🤔 They're all super strong trees but need a lot of annual pruning! 🌳😄

I am a new subscriber and this is the first time I've seen Tillie. She seems like a nature lover and that's the kind of person that Rob needs in his life, whether she's a friend or a significant other. I also want to propose a name for the new hen (goose). Rob, how do you feel about the name "Honoria?" In case people are unsure how to pronounce it, it's pronounced phonetically as "Ah-NOR-ee-ah." It means honorable. If she does what a goose is supposed to do, then she will have been appropriately named. Oh, and by the way. I think that Frank and his hen will be very happy at their new residence. I saw the way that she looked at Frank when Rob put them by themselves in the enclosure and I could sense that she was thrilled that Frank had bought her a house on a farm in the forest. They reminded me of newlyweds who were checking out their new digs for the first time. I found it to be such a tender moment.
