Hi Wayne Noel I’m from Ireland and some day I’d love to travel America for a holiday and do just this see the real America and stay away from the big cities and tows. Is it safe can you tell me
@@davidclarke8750 it’s absolutely safe but definitely stay away from major cities. It’s unfortunate but our cities have gone down hill. Stay in the country and small towns, meet the locals, experience local culture, that’s what America is about.

I am genuinely stoked for this series of days. Really compelling stuff! For me, this is where ATW shines most... On the road filming random stuff. Just being himself... I could watch this stuff for hours. And have, actually.
As a Brit it's great seeing all this mid country forgotten America, stereo type names and images it's amazing. Few other folks in towns and back country it seems which would make feel vulnerable, guess that's why you 'pack heat' in some states.
Love the style in which you present your vids, Adam! Over the years I have never tired of your videos. I get a bit distracted at times, but never tired of your special whit and all the smiles you bring to my face. Thank You. I Love this series on back country roads and towns.
Regarding the "homestead" at time 9:00, one year, in 1964, my folks took my bros and me down through Georgia. We frequently came upon bldgs like the "homestead" you showed on the side of the road, and they almost always had a family just hanging out on the porch, watching cars going by... a whole family, half-dozen or so, living in their one-room shack w/o electricity.
Boy that old school Rand McNally map...brings me back to my childhood when as a family we would take trips to Maine and would find new routes to our destination using that big ole thing. Was never a dull moment with old road maps. Best way to find off the beaten path attractions. New fangled gps and google always take you around all these areas unless you are actually going to these destinations. Keep it old school Adam! Cheers!
when you went through Cilo , I was looking at the wall painting, noticed a baseball with the signature of baseball pitcher Don Sutton, he was born there.
Woo at his absolute best. I so miss the 5-plus years of the Daily Woo. But I know nothing like that can last forever, as most people do need a sense of “home.” This series is a great throw-back to those years. Thanks ATW.

Greetings from the now 2nd largest city in Alabama... Huntsville 🙋♀️ Can't believe how much my hometown has grown & how many little things I miss before the boom brought in all in the crazy!!! They've turned Huntsville blue but only for a moment😉
Everything about this video is exactly what I was looking for. Loved that you took the time to record the scenery and read the signs. As I near the end of my college career, I’m thinking more and more about spending years vacationing the other states instead of other countries. The quiet towns are incredibly underrated, and it’s a shame that there doesn’t seem to be a future in sight where these towns are revitalized with young families and renewed purpose.
**Beautiful** countryside! I **love** the tiny little rural towns, whether they're in the US, Australia or wherever. The smaller the better. They just seem to say "sit back, relax and unwind.....".

I love vlogs loke this! I use to dispatch road service from my home here in Michigan. The southern states were mostly where my calls were located. Montgomery, Mobile, & Tuscaloosa were my dispatch areas for a while before my company decided to give us calls for all over the country. So I only saw these places on maps. Its really cool to be able to see towns like Clayton as an actual town...not just roads on a map.

Beautiful Alabama is definitely God's country! I would love to visit there one day myself. Thanks for another great video, Adam. Take care & God bless!
The mid USA is so vast, that people , if they wish can just get up and leave to new places, and leave things behind. In the UK. Land is at a premium. So everything left is demolished to make way for new structures. Your country leaves a big footprint from its past. Fascinating stuff. Great memories physically remain in the USA. We are tagging along Adam . Respect and thank you👍

I grew up in Alabama. My mother grew up in Eufaula where you started the video. I saw SO much in this that brought back memories. I had forgotten about the Octagon House. By the way Clio is pronounced "KLIGH-oh" and not "KLEE-oh". Glad you included Faunsdale as we used to go through there when we'd go to Thomasville to visit my grandparents. Even in the 1950's it was tiny. I think the building you thought was a station was where cotton bales were stored although it DOES look like trains might have gone by there. A great video. Thanks for the memories!
I absolutely love that Octagon House!!! Wrap around porch is beautiful!!! I wish that I had one, but with everything on one floor, considering my age!!! (61).

They got sheds full of firearms. They say the bad areas are all Democrat but we dont know if its true. We told N Pilozi but no sign of reply. Dont worry about the public will you. ..We are just scum. But the virus is doing some payback. Whjat a shame .Local Govt to us- "If Theres Anything Wrong With Local Govt The public Must Go get a Lawyer" to communicate with the lawyer already paid for.Appeasement and Manipulation aint workin.
Where Adam is going. He doesn't need No Interstate Highways. Just a Road Atlas, a Car, and Ol' Americana........
I am genuinely stoked for this series of days. Really compelling stuff! For me, this is where ATW shines most... On the road filming random stuff. Just being himself... I could watch this stuff for hours. And have, actually.
I like the Sweet Home Alabama sign in the beginning, and how it's juxtaposed with the-skies so blue :D
As a Brit it's great seeing all this mid country forgotten America, stereo type names and images it's amazing. Few other folks in towns and back country it seems which would make feel vulnerable, guess that's why you 'pack heat' in some states.
Thanks for the "old days" style of TheDailyWoo... Forgot how much I missed it
I was born in Dothan, AL, and grew up in Headland. Went fishing many times in Barbour County. Clayton is the county seat. Thanks for these videos.
I love this series! I am looking forward to each and every state's goodness! Woo at its Best!
Love the style in which you present your vids, Adam! Over the years I have never tired of your videos. I get a bit distracted at times, but never tired of your special whit and all the smiles you bring to my face. Thank You. I Love this series on back country roads and towns.
Yeah, this is the best. The silent moments are the most precious.
Always a good time when Adam uploads! 🤩
Thanks ATW.
Hey, you're back in LA! Lower Alabama. I know it's old! Love the backroads! Tks. Adam !
Loved it the backwaters are the veins that Chris Cross countries and give life to genuine real living!
wow I love these cross country road trip videos very interesting indeed. Thanks for posting Adam The Woo:)
I've gone through Alabama twice over 20 years , driving to from Florida and California . On the I 10 it's it's green trees and hills are beautiful !!!
Now this is the Adam the woo videos I have missed.. nice to see him on the road
I am an introvert and feeling recharged when watching your shots of lonely and deserted spots of the America's backroads. I watching your videos from down here Java island and always get soothing sensation that make me happy. Best regards to you and your family, God bless again and again. Good by, Sir.
I love these cross country trips. Good stuff, Adam. Thanks for sharing. Be safe out there. 👍
These videos remind me of the town I live and work in...Oak Grove, La. 71263, this old town is still alive and well. The theater although old is in business and the Little Freezer ice cream stand is always busy.
I love these types of vids!
So melancholy wondering what the stories are behind abandoned homes, businesses and towns🙁
Looking forward to more👍🏼
God Bless🙏
Greetings from the now 2nd largest city in Alabama... Huntsville 🙋♀️ Can't believe how much my hometown has grown & how many little things I miss before the boom brought in all in the crazy!!! They've turned Huntsville blue but only for a moment😉
Hard to believe for sure ! Montgomery is a dying city ! Huntsville trying to become number one ! I’m in phenix city
loving all these abandoned houses Adam .......this is The Carpetbagger country
Thank you from the UK. I love seeing the real America through your videos.
You just passed Georgia bye Adam, safe journey. Glad you are back. Always have enjoyed your video's. Thanks for sharing. Very interesting as always.
The mansion sitting forlorn off road was amazing site! Americana is interesting and sobering! All at the same time.
As you point out Adam, these lovely old buildings could tell so many stories.
These are the Adam the woo videos I been missing. Cant wait for the rest
**Beautiful** countryside!
I **love** the tiny little rural towns, whether they're in the US, Australia or wherever. The smaller the better.
They just seem to say "sit back, relax and unwind.....".
What a vlog. I'm a UK citizen that's just started vlogging myself because of you and Tim tracker absolutely love watching both of your videos. Thanks Adam! I grew up in Mississippi near the Alabama line. I love the south. So peaceful and beautiful.
Chad Austin with the klan all over the place
No thanks
@@chrisbennett606 Democrats became Klan members to boost thier political aspirations, Senator Robert KKK Byrd (Praised by Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton) was a good example...
I used to travel back and forth a lot between Nashville/Muscle Shoals to Pensacola. After a while I got sick of the freeway, and tried to take different routes each time. It's a whole different world away from the interstate.
My fav series, americana backroad. So nostalgic. Makes me wonder the folk living there, what memrories and ambition they must be dreaming.
Adam, please continue going forward while looking back. It's the way it should be.
@Warren How are you doing
Hope we get to know each other with time and patience?
@Hello warren, How are you doing?
On a whim just turned this video on. Wow! Blown away! Your video very relaxing. I was born in Columbus, Georgia, so these places are what my early childhood was all about. Thank you for posting. I thoroughly enjoyed watching it.
Beautiful Alabama is definitely God's country! I would love to visit there one day myself. Thanks for another great video, Adam. Take care & God bless!

As a Gypsy myself Adam you provide sustenance for my wandering soul, thank you.
Is this adam the woo part twoooooo going boldly whare no one has gone for along time keep up the good work man
The mid USA is so vast, that people , if they wish can just get up and leave to new places, and leave things behind. In the UK. Land is at a premium. So everything left is demolished to make way for new structures. Your country leaves a big footprint from its past. Fascinating stuff. Great memories physically remain in the USA. We are tagging along Adam . Respect and thank you👍
Loved the last 2 videos, reminds me of your earlier ones. Great stuff Adam!!!
My mother was born on a farm in Faunsdale, Alabama in 1935....my father was born in Forkland, Alabama in 1930....as children they moved to Demopolis, Alabama (Marengo county)....in 1951 they came to Illinois (Chicago area)....Always enjoyed going south to visit my grandparents in Demopolis in the 1960's, 1970's 1980's)....My parents and grandparents are deceased now-----beautiful memories.
Thx Adam...these vids are so relaxing. Be safe out there on that road🙏👍✌
I’ve missed these kind of videos that you do. I’ve been with you since beginning! Thanks for taking me with you! Also, it’s cool you share the map with us!🤗🤗❤️❤️
The Woo is back! Love these Zany adventures!
Yes!
I agree with most of the comments. Truly some of your best work. I do miss these Adam narrated videos of your travels. This is why I started watching you years ago Adam. Love these. 👍❤️
I want to do something similar to this i live in the nc area thx for bringing these videos back 👍
Adam when I watch these videos I forget the troubles of the world! Thanks my friend!
Thanks.
Man, I love the South, so mush history.
@Hello Hank how are you doing?
I love this kind of stuff. Im from the uk and i find american town interior fascinating
I absolutely love that Octagon House!!! Wrap around porch is beautiful!!! I wish that I had one, but with everything on one floor, considering my age!!! (61).
Old school baby!! Long live the map!!!! Adam don't need any stinkin GPS!!!!! Lol!!!!
I'm so glad to see Clayton, my Mother was born there. Thank you
Nice vlogs! How about some reviews of the hotels/motels your staying at? Love some hotel room tours and maybe finding out how you chose them.
Thanks for bringing me back to my early 90's when used to study in Livingston university now called university of west Alabama
