Wow I wish our Aldi's had that kind of store!!! We have two stores in Killeen Texas and both stores are dirty dingy And do not have much in them. It is a real shame as Killeen Texas is Basically part of Fort Hood Texas which makes our town International We have a lot of people from everywhere. But the store doesn't want to cater to people.

Food is typically good to stay out for about 3-4 hours! I usually clear out a shelf in my fridge for it to stay on until it’s time to eat! If I’m transporting it I use a box or a board with sides
I love charcuterie boards and had a thought about bringing them to my kids (grown with children) so ya, grandchildren. Could I actually make one and put it in fridge and how long would it keep? Sorry, just wondering. Your ideas are great!❤
Question; I do setups for large groups of folks, many of whom are older; it is an absolute “grazing” format, and I love to use lets of fruits and veggies. Grapes of all colors are favorites of mine, but I really don’t like to see people juggling a plate of food in one hand and trying to get grapes off a bunch with the other; Visually it is less appealing to have just piles of loose grapes on the board, but they sure are easier to serve! Any suggestions? Also my signature cheese is a big wheel of Brie topped with a mixture of chopped dried fruits and toasted pecans and a good caramel sauce; always sells!

Just to let you know that you can't use most stains for handmade boards because they aren't food safe. I'm sure there is more than what I know but all I found to use was mineral oil to make mine food safe. Beautiful boards, love them both. ~ Sherry
You didn't notice it Aldi's saves a lot of money when you shop there I mostly love to go there with my mom we go by there a lots of good stuff to eat sometimes we leave the store from there and we save lots of money in in in Audis

I'm surprised about a couple of things here. I feel you should've snipped the grapes into small sections, for ease of serving, and sliced at least a few slices of each cheese, to get things going. One was even still in the wax wrapper! What guest is going to pick up an unopened cheese, peel off the wax and slice some? That's YOUR job.

it really depends how much other food there is! its about 2oz of meat/cheese per person if its an appetizer

This way the stuff wont slide off and its easier to cover

It’s cheese, usually it get cut into & the guests take the wax off their piece

You know what I learned when delivering items. Place a yoga mat or workout mat. Works really good from keeping items from moving
