I’ve heard this song millions of times, but each time the hairs on the back of my neck still stand up and I am transfixed by this stunning being that just brought the whole of humanity together, and he’s still doing that. Look at us all here. When the biopic drops I just know I’ll be a teary mess… mascara smeared, heart wrenched firmly out of my chest. And a whole new generation introduced to the greatest performer and humanitarian of all time. If only some of the world had treated HIM with the humanity and tenderness he deserved. I remember the year after moonwalker came out, pestering my poor mum and dad to check every video rental shop to see if it was out on vhs rent lol great care-free times!
