If i were to guess, he pushed Roxas to his revenge value limit and because ars doesn't add to the revenge value he got more damage in without Roxas being able to fight back.
If you are going to compare this run to DS you have to compare it to DS soul level 1 run where you never level up, staying level 1 gives you no secret benefits like in KH, and you are not able to use most of the weapons in the game unlike in KH where there are no stat requirements for weapons. As far as being more fun, that's purely subjective. I would day KH is easier than DS as far as combat goes. there is no stamina management so you can just spam attacks, along with other combat advantages you get in the KH series. The harder KH games are (to me) BBS and DDD (both use the command deck system) simply because all of your special moves have a cooldown, so there is a level a strategy required to combat. These are also my favorite games in the series.

One way to almost kills Xigbar instantly is when he goes into a smaller section go to final form heal and make sure you have been Zyrtec this will allow you to totally wrecked him and leaving less than a bar left when your drive goes out

I noticed the camera is 60FPS. Also, you can use the 60FPS patch on real PS2 hardware, but it becomes irrelevent after Roxas' part of the game as the PS2 simply can't do it. PCSX2 can run the game just fine at 60FPS for the most part however.

RNG manipulation, less menus required, Xemnas should be last since he is the final boss in story, plenty of reasons. Xigbar is always first since the RNG manipulation from refusing Lucksword's minigame.
The way that continues work in Kingdom Hearts is that when you die and use a continue, it puts you back to the point where you entered the last room. By changing your items/equipment and leaving the room, you have just saved yourself from having to do that again after using a continue, thus wasting precious time.
They use Japanese because it's faster. They memorized everything important to the run in the menus, so to some degree kind of. You'd have to ask each individual in the run how well they know Japanese.

As a matter of fact, English version is faster than JP for Data Org because DuckFlare is bugged and does way more damage due to its increased limit length in English release.
you could have done better and used fenrir and yes gotten 1 less ground combo but you would also have increased damage on your finishers. instead of getting 1 extra regular git and a weaker combo.
You guys; we can all say how redundant stats are on keyblades in KH2. when sora stats are over 80, lvl 1 crit run, etc In short; abilities takes priority a way more then stats. Also Fenrir abilities can be remedy with 1 combo plus but, that is saying how the keyblade is so terrible.

I can do it a lot faster. Except my result would be death, and it would take me about 1 minute to reach the Cavern and jump into the Axel fight.
