Lucy was inspired by c.s. Lewis's own granddaughter, he wrote the silver chair as a bedtime story for her, and than the rest of the chronicles of Narnia so she could read them to her own grandchildren one day.
Because C S Lewis wrote a Christian roman. Aslan is Jesus and Jesus blessed the children and says that they bleong to heaven and you should believe like a child. And Lucy is the youngest child. (Sorry for my bad english, it's not my first language.)

My dads a huge nerd and a Lutheran Paster. When I was little he told me a long time ago two men wanted to explain religion to children in a way that was easier to understand so they wrote Narnia and LotR. As a kid knowing that Aslan was Jesus was so exciting for me cause I didn’t get a lot of positive Christian representation in the fantasy media I loved (and still love) so dearly.

And in different ways. There isn't a clear cut of who is who outside of Aslan. Is the Ice Queen meant to be Judeus? Or the Jews? Well yes and no. Yes Jadius does a lot of what the Jews do but she isn't really meant to repseant the entire race of Jews. She is more like the rulers of that time period and the "devil" himself as in the Bible, Hell is depicted as a very cold and frozen place without the light of God there to warm it up. The siblings and any humans that do enter Narnia are meant to be humanity as a whole right? That's why Aslan sacrificed himself for Edmund right? Because Edmund's betrayal is meant to be humanity's sins right? Kinda, it is more in line with the lost of innocence at the hands of people you thought you can trust. Yes it is about sins too but some may also turn to religion to figure out their next plan of action too. The various races we see can mean a whole lot too. Could be representing angels, demons, the different ethnicities of humanity, and just general war. I do not think there are any major wars in the Bible. Hell, the Deep Magic could be the Holy Spirit but even that doesn't make sense because the Holy Spirit is never stated to be written like the Deep Magic is.

The biblical aspect of Narnia really warms my heart and brings tears to my eyes. I just don’t know, is it the beautiful writing of C. S. Lewis? or the pure and loving christianity that was brought upon words and imagination? Narnia is a piece of peace that I have never truly felt and understood before, the same with Christianity. It is not the acts of people in the past that I think of when Christianity comes to mind, but the pure nature of love, sin, forgiveness, and PEACE that I long for in my life. Jesus, the lion of Judah, I may not be an active researcher and learner of Christianity but knowing that there are spiritual figures that offer their guidance and support even if you know so little is basically fuckin beautiful.
This movie is very heart touching and can bring tears to your eyes in a heartbeat, I just can’t stop watching it.. the emotions it brings us, the amazing and different music, and best of all Aslan and his great power!

Greetings from a fellow Tolkien Philosopher, who also has eaten the fruits of Narnia and tasted its mysteries. 2021 was the start of a horrible time for me. And the end of 2022 was the final nail in the coffin for it. However around those times, I started off by going to Tolkien’s books and the radio dramas that followed. And I learned the history of Middle Earth itself as well as its God (Eru) through The Silmarillion. Then I was drawn to his friend’s work, C.S. Lewis. And then I reached full enlightenment. The more I read these books and listen to the radio dramas from both worlds, the more closer i get back to God himself. Tolkien set me on my path, and Lewis paved the way. Praise the lord for guiding their hands in making these tomes of spiritual guidance.

For many reasons. As a religious person I would say Lucy's relationship with Aslan echoes the yearning of our hearts for God and relationship with Him. But also because Aslan represents a parental figure to her that she never had, one who gave His life to protect her. Being separated from such a being resonates and is naturally very emotional.

Say what you want about these movies but Aslan was always one of my favorite parts you can tell who he's supposed to be representing just by the way he talks these 3 movies have more effort put into them then most of the live action stuff Disney does now Aslan is someone who you wanna follow immediately just by his voice alone ❤❤
This line always stuck with me. There's always been talks of other dimensions, the books even outright shows this both with Narnia itself and the Wood Between the Worlds, and God is omnipresent so, it's an interesting thought that if there are other dimensions in reality, He's in all of them in some form
I love the look in his eyes and smile he gives Lucy when she asks if they'll meet again. You can see in Aslan's eyes, it's a promise that is good as done. Thank you Jesus for your sacrifice, that allows our lost souls to be found by You and Your mercy. Amen 🙏🏾

watching it when i was a little boy and the fact that i am now realising that it was always him. My lord and saviour, the realisation is pure gold.
I've never watched the movies, but Narnia will forever be one of my favorite book series.

As a Christian I love these movies and books but I’m also glad non religious people can still also love them as well and still learn good themes

Greetings from a fellow Tolkien Philosopher, who also has eaten the fruits of Narnia and tasted its mysteries. 2021 was the start of a horrible time for me. And the end of 2022 was the final nail in the coffin for it. However around those times, I started off by going to Tolkien’s books and the radio dramas that followed. And I learned the history of Middle Earth itself as well as its God (Eru) through The Silmarillion. Then I was drawn to his friend’s work, C.S. Lewis. And then I reached full enlightenment. The more I read these books and listen to the radio dramas from both worlds, the more closer i get back to God himself. Tolkien set me on my path, and Lewis paved the way. Praise the lord for guiding their hands in making these tomes of spiritual guidance.

Why was this scene so emotional
For many reasons. As a religious person I would say Lucy's relationship with Aslan echoes the yearning of our hearts for God and relationship with Him. But also because Aslan represents a parental figure to her that she never had, one who gave His life to protect her. Being separated from such a being resonates and is naturally very emotional.

Say what you want about these movies but Aslan was always one of my favorite parts you can tell who he's supposed to be representing just by the way he talks these 3 movies have more effort put into them then most of the live action stuff Disney does now Aslan is someone who you wanna follow immediately just by his voice alone ❤❤

This line always stuck with me. There's always been talks of other dimensions, the books even outright shows this both with Narnia itself and the Wood Between the Worlds, and God is omnipresent so, it's an interesting thought that if there are other dimensions in reality, He's in all of them in some form

I love the look in his eyes and smile he gives Lucy when she asks if they'll meet again. You can see in Aslan's eyes, it's a promise that is good as done.

I caught it the first time. Like come on, everyone cheering when he was about to die while Lucy and Susan watch from a distance, then coming back to life? It's definitely reminiscent of the Passion of the Christ.
