A fuse is a safety device to protect the refrigerator it should not be replaced with something else.

Hi, thanks for the video but i have one question. WHat you are changing is not the defrost sensor but the thermal fuse. Is that right?

+Jack Eventreur This is listed as the defrost sensor, not a fuse. Years ago the had a fuse in the freezer but it was replaced by the sensor.

My Fridge runs well for about 12-16 hours then it stops cooling, could't be the defrost sensor?

the first thing to check is that it's not an airflow issue, and that your appliance isn't overstuffed, blocking the movement of air inside and between freezer and fridge. If it's not that, then it sounds like it could a defrost problem, though there are a number of parts that could cause that issue. We offer free technical advice and diagnosis, though, but we'll need some more information. We'll need your model number, which this link on our website can help you find: www.appliancepartspros.com/modelnumber_locator.aspx Then you can give us a call at 1-877-477-7278 or you can chat us at our website: www.appliancepartspros.com/. We also have a free repair forum where the techs can help you troubleshoot the problem: forum.appliancepartspros.com/. We’re here to help 7 days a week

will this fix the issue of frosting in the refrigerator section or is that a separate sensor?

This is part of the defrost system, any part that fails in the system can cause defrost problems. You can post the problem along with the appliance model number on our repair forum and the techs can help you troubleshoot the problem. forum.appliancepartspros.com/
