There so many secret tunnels that lead to the castle it's crazy, under the flats opposite the bottom entrance there's tunnels that you can see with your naked eye that lead from passage ways in the flats!
Your right it is crazy, and thats going on the visible and known ones. I'm sure there are a few more here and there. Didnt know about those may need to have a look thanks for heads up
This was different from the other 4 Bastions as it only went into the castle moat and not the grounds as the other two bastions Twiss built nearby in the 1790s had connections between the moat and castle grounds

Its been filled now but I don't like what they filled it up with its not good for animals im ok them blocking it but do it properly
Didn't think it would take long after lockdown was over. Glad we saw it when we did. Am interested to see how they blocked it.
