- Hello everyone on this video I’ll show you how to change the speakers of your 2015 Toyota Corolla . This is my first time changing the speakers on my car 👍. I’m super excited to do it and give a huge thanks to my dad for helping me out. The two front speakers weren’t working anymore so my dad recommended me to buy JB audio 6.5 for the car. Thank you and I just change the speakers to make it sound way better then stock ones . The stock ones weren’t working anymore so it was time to change them .

I have some JL audio 6 1/2 XR series speakers along with 1 inch tweeters and they both came with a crossover how can I hook the crossover up to both of them

Just got done with my install. Weird. My right front speaker has water damage too. It was corroded
Yeah kinda weird and I try finding we’re the water was coming from but my guess is from the windows . So I’m not sure we’re from .
What are those blue things called that you used to connect the new wires to the old ?
Those are butt splices. You should use a crimp tool to squeeze them instead of regular pliers.
You didn’t bypass the stock tweeters? How does it sound with 2 sets of tweeters?

great video! quick question, when rewiring the speakers, which wire was positive and negative? both were pink from the video. thanks in advance!
So the best way to check is turning on the car and putting on music to see if works and if it doesn’t. Then we switch the wires so it could work 👍

@@samuelbuzzetta4475 Usually if both wires are the same color, one of them will have a colored line on the insulator , or the wire itself inside one of them could be two-toned. If you look closely at the insulator there is a darker purple line running along the left wire, so that is most likely your positive wire.
You are right that the speakers will play no matter what, I'm not sure what Enrique is on about saying it won't work if the speaker is plugged backwards. It doesn't matter which one is positive and which one is negative, the only thing that matters is that all the speakers are connected the same way so they don't play out of phase.
What size are those speaker 6 1/2¨ ?
Does it cause any engine code or do you need to upgrade also the fuse
No engine codes or any problems. It’s been doing really good 👍

Are the door speakers you installed 6.75 inch or 6.5 inch? I want to buy these Rockford fosgate 6.75 inch speaker set for the doors but amazon is saying they won't fit. Any help would be nice.
I bought mine 6.5 inches because we’re I bought them the guy recommended me to get this size for the corolla s 👍and they fit perfect 👍😎

You made this look extremely easy. But somehow I feel if I do this myself I will mess it up. What’s a good price range to get new speakers installed so I don’t get ripped off?

I went to car toys to get a quote for all 4 speakers they priced it at 1200. I think that’s a rip off

I use a drill to take them out

Why would you get speakers with tweeters on them if you already have separate tweeters?
