I've just purchased the Debden Eagles Campaign and the only thing to say is..."EXCELLENT"!! You have truly produced a superb Campaign with great detail and insight into this WWII Warbirds adventure. . Keep up the fantastic work! and yes I had to get the Bodney, Beware, Big Show, Victory, Paradise Lost and Yalu campaigns. How could I not? I'm also pleased that the price of your Campaigns are on the very affordable side. It's good to see someone creating excellent products for the passion of the project! I thank you for the enjoyment you have provided

Also the historic radio broadcasts and excellent voice-overs add to the immersion. Started with mission #2 and boy is that challenging to fly in the dark, join up and stay in formation. Had to use the label option a couple of times (cheating?) to find my flight lead, but I made it back in one piece. Thank you so much for keeping the memory alive of all those great heroes who came and helped us in our hour of need. Looking forward to your next campaign (Kola peninsula?) and would be highly interested in another 'Jug' campaign.
As no doubt your campaign will reveal, using P-51s in a ground attack role at that time proved a disaster. Bruce Carr, just months before his death in 1998, delivered a speech recounting it. He's best known for his method of escape after being shot down. He snuck onto a Luftwaffe air base shortly before dawn as ground crews were running up the FW190s for the day's missions. He climbed into one and flew off. But he remembered most the comrades he lost the day before. And the speech was delivered oddly enough at a convention for Air Warrior - the first MMO. Yet online gamers now are little different from those then. Players knew their history. They knew Carr was dying. And to celebrate Colonal Carr, they arranged with Stallion 51 for him to arrive to the convention in a TF-51D. The final flight of a genuine hero. And in a Mustang. Although the era of massively multiplayer online WWII air combat simulations has passed, and DCS will never provide developer server hosting, WWII era simulation pilots, as I said, are the same now as they were then. They know their history. And they bring a reverence to the sims they play that transcends the concept of video games.
1999 i was playing Fighter Ace. Nobody used the P-51 with under the belly liquid cooling systems to do anything but to go fast and high. The bombing missions were left to other planes. Then Saving Private Ryan came out and i just laughed when matt damon said that those were P-51 "tank busters". The ony thing the p-51 busted in those types of mission was the liquid cooling tanks.
It was done by Dominik Keller, but I agree, it's his best work so far. The narration was a guy from Fiverr, I was looking for a 1940s broadcast style narrator.

Just bought it, even thought I'm more of a P47 man. It looks incredible and the cinematography of this trailer is absolutely stunning. People may complain about the gameplay constraints and dated graphics engine... but holy hell it looks beautiful

Forgive the question here, but do you know if the recent ED performance issues that have plagued WWII MP lately (something to do with more complex AI causing havoc with large bomber formations), if this has any impact on your brilliant SP missions? I haven’t updated DCS for fear of wrecking your campaigns 😬
@@Cruiserofland I think ED is still working on them but I know they found the root cause. It’s the flak kdo that caused the stutters. Maybe it’s already fixed I haven’t checked
I may have missed it, but would it be possible to add an "Estimated time to complete mission" in the brief? I just started the Debden campaign (wow.. hard in the dark!) but ran out of time and had to quit just after we dropped back below the clouds. :)
I am having a problem with this campaign the communications menu will work at the start of mission, but then it will not show up after taking off. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
Can labels be turned on or off? This is whats keeping me from buying any of your campaigns. Heavily interested in buying. I play single player in vr and multiplayer in 2D due to the resolution lack still present in vr headsets. Having at least the red and blue dots labels for identifying helps me with this issue in PVE.
I wish people would learn to do ground attacks without trying to take the leaves off the trees. Real pilots tried to avoid this as much as possible, and not make it the rule *sigh*
@@ReflectedSimulations IIRC the handbook says, after attacking a ground target to remain "low" while exiting away from known enemies and jinking left and right. Hereby, jinking is smooth left and right turns along an axis leading away from the enemy; it should not include jerking the aircraft through sharp pulls on the stick. Once about 2 miles from known enemy, start pulling up again, and continue with the mission. From my experience, this works very well, without trying to hide below the treeline.
Damn, I hope Reflected has good health insurance, because his back has to be hurting after carrying DCS WW2 for such a long time.

you mean in the missions? Radios in WW2 weren't very crisp and clear...you can play with your volume settings too.

I wish people would learn to do ground attacks without trying to take the leaves off the trees. Real pilots tried to avoid this as much as possible, and not make it the rule *sigh*
When attacking a target defended by AAA, you had to be lower than those leaves... like an airfield for example.
