I'm so excited to see this build finally moving under its own power after all this time. I still have some work to do to fix a few things but I'm happy that its made it this far in the first place!

    Hey man I love what you’re doing! It’s pretty awesome to see a tiny monster truck! Can you deign one that can use axial scx24 trucks? Parts from axial scx24 are much easier to find and I’m sure everyone can get one from their local hobby shop.

    • @whatswiththissassylostchilld

      Thanks! Technically you could absolutely use the SCX24 axles on this build but you would need to find a set of links that would work. On top of the 4ws, that's what I like so much about using the HBX Devastator. The complete axles and links are easy to take off and use for the build.

    Try the dynamite 2'n'1 6000kV brushless setup they sell for the mini-t 2.0. If itt'l fit, you're good; they creep great and the ESC is in the motor can which saves a LOT of space in the chassis.

  • @ONEFUNFONE

    Ok so being a slot guy I've about tried it all for body mounting stuff out there my thoughts on mounting a body on this would be the use of the rare earth neo magnets epoxied to both the chassis and body. Eight 1/4" diameter magnets should keep that heavy body mounted on the chassis.
    Where would I mount the magnets? Hate to say it but tabs off the top of the roll cage, two magnets per side. I think this would be the most universal system for these types of trucks then trying to locate the magnets anywhere else on the chassis, especially with electronics in the way.

    • @FullThrottleRC
      @FullThrottleRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm definitely planning on making some mounts that come from the chassis. I'm not sure if I'll use magnets or velcro yet. The body is actually lighter than I thought
